Vamos! My respect to Tottaham fans for keeping quiet all game to give the team zero support, kept to their words "fuck CL we don't want Arsenal to win the league" and started singing after going 2-0 down to mock Arsenal..

Fck I can sleep well tonight...
Congrats. Send me your BTC address. It's finished. I have no more hopes. No one wants Arsenal to be the winner. How come they chanted yesterday "Are you watching Arsenal?".

I had a good amount staked on Arsenal to win the PL. All gone.

No bro! It's not until it's over - I want to walk with you till the end.

I totally get you actually. But here in Singapore or Indonesia, City fans are like those plastic mushrooms that only popped up several years ago. To be fair, you also saw Chelsea fans pop up around 2004. The old Chelsea fans were very few, and I respected them because they loved their club who never won anything but after Russian money arrived suddenly everybody was wearing Drogba Tongue

At least I sort of respected Liverpool and Spurs fans even from back then, they were shit for a long time, never won EPL and still had fans.

Success, without a doubt, increases your fan base, and it is difficult for non-city clubs like Chelsea and others to compete with city clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, where nearly everyone who grew up there became a fan right away.

98% of my state's population supports our local club, Rivers United, in the Nigeria Premier League, good or bad. Liverpool dominated in the 1980s, Manchester United dominated in the 1990s, and Chelsea rose to prominence in the 2000s, so most of our fans emerged from the cave once the team provided us with something to be proud of.  Grin

Tottenham's chances for the Champions League are purely mathematical, I don't really understand why everyone started talking about them.
It is confirmed. The sh*t club will be playing Europa League football next season. Congratulations to Villa for returning to the best club competition, a much better representative than spursy.

We will keep hoping till the end of the season. Come on You Goonerz!!

I never doubt the recent performance of villa as they start their game even when I know that they are meeting man city thought the game would even be a work over for man city at first half but turn favouring them, most small team are performing well , my game would have cut but scale through just that one club spoiled my game , villa is betting up and will do more better unexpectedly.

I don't know why you want City every season winning, I would lose interest Tongue

Not Loyalty - Kane wanted to move a long time ago, but Daniel Levy is a difficult man to deal with; he signed players with no sell clauses in their contracts, so only he can determine when you leave.

I don't feel sorry for Son; he had the option to play for better teams, and as Mourinho stated, Son should not be playing for Tottenham.

Manchester City is far from London, with only 0.005% of fans in Nigeria, so whatever happens, we can sleep well because no one cares except Manchester United fans. If Chelsea cannot win, City should.  Grin

Guess I don't really know the intricacies of Premier League. Seems like a similar world in La Liga or at least in Barcelona where many players wanted to leave but somehow their club didn't make it easy for them. Then again, for some, like Messi, he didn't even know where he was going or if he was staying. Feels like sometimes some players are prisoner.

I agree tho I read about Spurs fans singing when their team losing, that's such a stupid attitude.

A win over City is worth 6.60, a win for Crystal Palace at Aston Villa is worth 2.12, a win for Tottenham over Sheffield is worth 1.32. Total we have 6.6*2.12*1.32 = 18.46 Roughly speaking, 5.5 percent.

Wait what? Where do you get the 5.5 'percent' from? Im assuming you divide those by 3 so that would be 6.15 but hey its weird and I dont think this make any sense.
~

The coefficient is inversely proportional to the probability. Therefore, divide 1 by 18.46 and get 0.054 ~= 5.5%

Maybe I’m wrong and in the context of the confrontation with Arsenal this behavior is normal for Tottenham fans, but it seems a shame to me  Undecided
With this approach, the club will never gain subjectivity and will not begin to claim titles.
And the end of the season where Tottenham was going to “determine the title owner” turned out to be funny: they lost to literally all the contenders.

Tottenham played quite good against Manchester City in the first half. Frankly while their chance for top 4 was this weak I wasn't expecting them to show this much resistance against Manchester City. Still I expect City to win in the second half. When it comes to the pool I think that a miracle is needed for me to win a prize from now on as only the ones entering top 10 are going to win prizes this season.
After 82 minutes Manchester City is still leading by 0–1 which mean now we have just 9 minutes left for ending of Arsenal's title hope and Tottenham for 4th spot their poor performance in last few weeks give them big setback with in first half of the season they were the strong candidate for the top four now they are going for the Europa League.
Manchester City deserve title with Haaland also deserve the golden boot for having another impressive season which helps his team for winning title again, this is their sixth title in seven years which is surely amazing performance from them.

I would be happy if Tottenham at least took points from City, but they don't look capable of that.

Im tired watching Manchester City keep on dominating the league so I'd rather watch Arteta claim the trophy this season lol. That being said, I need Tottenham to win or atleast gets a draw tonight against City. Its going to be close to impossible task for Ange given how bad they are on the last 5 game but I really need them to make this league even more interesting until the very last second

I think Liverpool has no extra motivation, they know that this season was lost and they are happy with a Champions League appareance.
They did enough to give Tottenham some hope for a 4th placed finish and an extra motivation tonight. If Tottenham can win it will be a 2-point gap between them and Villa, they are playing relegated Sheffield and Villa are playing in form Palace, both away. If Palace show any of the form they have shown recently they can win Villa.

I will be cheering spursy this weekend if they can put in a proper shift tonight.

I feel like you about Spurs except for the Son factor. I think his loyalty deserves the highest stage, he's one of the best EPL players totally underrated. I think the problem with him and Kane was they stayed loyal, maybe that's a fault. Surrounded by mediospursity, it's not really surprising.

With all that Kane money what did they buy?

Pep tried Fulham different because he could afford to, he won't do it again with Spurs. That was a mindgame Smiley

Tottaham does not deserve or even need the CL at this time; they would do better in the Europa League. The only honourable thing the Spur fans need right now is the team to lose tomorrow and prevent Arsenal from winning the league in order to maintain a healthy rivalry. Life without Harry Kane is difficult, but making the Europa League is already an important achievement for them this season.

I was not thrilled with City's approach against Fulham; they won but had many loose ends, which Spurs may exploit, but I believe Pep approaches each game differently.

On Football facts; Arsenal deserves to win the league but for the sake of side bets and London sanity, I would rather have City win it every season.

You don't need to be better in 38 games; consistency and luck will get you trophies. You only need your opponent to drop points whenever you lose; that is how you keep going. No team has performed better in 38 games.
Consistency is literally being better over 38 games. Brenford cannot be hoping the other teams above them drop points and they win the league. There is a level you have to be at to compete for the title, we are at that level, now we just need to drop the least number of points, not hoping for luck.
Luck is an excuse which I am not using. City have not been lucky, they have been better than anyone else.

No, you can play poorly and yet win games you should lose (luck factor), or you can play well and still lose games you should win (unlucky). It's just a football thing.

Arsenal has won games that they should have lost in the last five, got lucky with a couple set pieces, scored, and sat back the entire game. You wasted your chances of winning the league twice. You've led the league more than any other team since last season. Just bottlers for a reason.

Quote
That is exactly what you deserve. Those other teams dropped more points and now deserve to be below you guys on the table.

Manchester United  and Westham has been better than us all season, we got lucky, nothing else to see here.

Who saw the press conference with David Moyes where he said they may not be able to stop City's under-14s on the final game? If they scale through Tottenham tomorrow I will count the league lost and I am not holding out huge hope for tomorrow either.

On Football facts; Arsenal deserves to win the league but for the sake of side bets and London sanity, I would rather have City win it every season.
You do not deserve to win a league you lost. The better team over 38 games wins the title, if that is City then they totally deserve to win it and we will be cheering them on for next season.

Typical Arsenal supporter mentality: giving up before it's over. You have yet to lose to a top six team this season and have already topped your team's all-time league win total; if that is not enough to win the league, you may never win it again. Everyone knows the mentality of the team and the fans, therefore no one expected you to win anything with these magnificent players.

Liverpool bottling a 3-1 lead - Klopp was right. He is already out of energy and can't wait for the league to end.

I think Liverpool has no extra motivation, they know that this season was lost and they are happy with a Champions League appareance. When you play in such conditions there is no real motivation to the players and also Klopp is already bored I assume otherwise he would not given the dimission from his post.It is funny for Aston Villa though, how an inconsistent of a team they are, they lose to Olympiacos from Greece league and go and get back after being 2 goals down to Liverpool.

Nope buddy I understood what you, but I hate you guys given silly excuses after excuses every season with loud mouth.
There was no excuse in the post you quoted.

Chelsea is 7th not because we deserve it; we are simply fortunate that the club above us became pussies and began dropping points. Just play your games and hope the team above you becomes pussy (this is how Manchester City has been playing since last season).

Sometimes I wonder if you read replies backwards or just try to be witty and come up with a quick reply, but it is all good humor.

Well let me say it slower, we had the league in our hands and we lost it and now our destiny is not in OUR hands. I have faith in my team to win the final game of the season but cannot extend that faith to Spurs or WestHam. I hope they win, but as at this time we can only hope.
The team has been amazing this season, but if it is not enough then it is not, you do not get a winners medal for coming really close. Liverpool has finished a season with 97 points which will be almost ten times more than the maximum we can get, great achievement, but still finished short.

If a miracle happens, I will be the happiest fan. If not, we dust off and come back stronger next season, goal is to better 89 points by as much as possible.

I saw a video of Arsenal fans blowing off fireworks at Manchester City Hotel at 2 AM. Fortunately, the Manchester City team did not sleep at the hotel; I suppose they received the information sooner.

This is another reason why nobody wants you to win the league. If your supporters had their way, they would kidnap City players and make them miss today's game. Embarrassing...  Grin
