So how many lost games has Tottenham in a consecutive way as I cannot remember the last game that they have not lost as of lately, sure they had some pretty strong opponents one after another but going and losing all these games without even taking just a single point,I think in 4-5 games even a weak team could have gotten one point. This shows how unpredictable the Premier League is and the teams that are there can show us quite the opposite performance compared to what they did show in the first games of the season,we see how Tottenham is losing every game while we also see how Chelsea is winning every game and they are barely conceding goals while doing so.

Now its a different story i guess since the first part of the season. Chelsea back then was really bad and was playing hot and cold and mostly losing the matches and now Tottenham that played well in the first part cant get a single point in the second part of the season. Pretty much some wierd stuff happening in the league. I think that Tottenham with this dosent have any hopes of reaching the champions league spot.

Me neither. I got burned by them just too often to ever consider them again a while back. Bedshitters, and it's a shame because Ange was pretty decent I thought -- the curse of media fawning struck him (and Newcastle) this season.

Son cuts a frustrated figure, he's too good to remain down, but he really deserves better than this.

Liverpool weren't even that scary.

Nah, this Tottenham will be doing Arsenal no favors and that will not be for want of trying cause they do not want their rivals to win the league but just that they're in too terrible a form and City and in too good a form. I'll hold out more hope for Fulham than the pair of Tottenham and WestHam.

Who saw the news some days back of clubs voting to put a cap on how much each club can spend in transfers and wages bases on their revenues, this is expected to take effect from 2025/26 season? I feel that will be one way to reduce the competitiveness of the league in Europe.

Great result for Arsenal, and great we extend the goal difference between us and City even further.

I'm gunning for Arsenal all the way here, now that my team found a way to bow out in unspectacular fashion. Gooners were objectively better all season long. More exciting (I'll pretend that 0-0 against City didn't happen, but that was the plan all along), more positive, and just well, not City.

I was hoping Tottenham win against Chelsea, I need them to be strongly fighting for the UCL spot when they face City.
I wouldn't hold my breath, isn't Arsenal the arch nemesis of Tottenham? Even if they had it in their legs to win against City I am sort of expecting them to play it casually.

Nice start for me in the pool, 2 correct scores from first 2 games, time to start turning for the worse, I just know it  Grin

Kane prevented plenty of St Totteringham days but yeah, it seems like Arsenal are back to toying with their big town rivals. What's your pick for the rest of the games? I should bet against it? Wink

Great result for Arsenal, and great we extend the goal difference between us and City even further. If the do drop points it means there will be a match where they either don't gain any goal difference (a draw) or their goal difference drops (a loss). A draw is the best we can hope for at this time and if that happens there is almost no way they get a better GD than us in the other matches.

What an intresting match between Chelsea and Tottenham. Chelsea finally looking good like in the old days and lately they have been playing really good. Big win for them 2-0 and sadly that Tottenham didnt score at least one in this match. But finally after a few weeks i am back at first place by just half a point, but it feels really good.
No doubt a good timely win for the Chelsea with this now they are in for the 6th spot and this could be interesting because all three teams are on same level of performance any team can go through for the 6th spot which could be created good fight.
For the pool I am having worst results in last few rounds so now out of the top 20 spots which is worst end for me but hopefully will try to have something better in coming season.

@Joca you are good, hopefully you will be able to stay here for the last few rounds as well, good luck.

Thanks,i have been trying really hard to keep my place in the top 2 and finally after a couple of weeks i needed to do something different to overtake Omikifuse and finally was able to. Was playing it safe last few weeks but now there is a complicated round and i think its gonna be hard to get points. Chelsea pushed me up pretty well so hopefully i get a few more good results in this upcoming round.

That Pep felt stalked by Arteta. Cheesy
They're getting away at the moment. Forest have been the better side for me and created better chances, but when you switch off against this team like they did during that corner kick, you get punished. Still 45 minutes to go and then 4 extra matches to be played, I can just feel City will slip up in one of them, we just got to keep winning our side of the race.

Come on you Goonerz!!! Great win.

A week doesn't get better than beating both neighbors back to back. Lousy from Raya, but he picked himself up and played incredibly well after that. Whatever happens at the end of this season Arteta has set up a remarkable team with a great mentality.
Over to you Pep.

Raya made a mistake that led to a goal but fortunately the mistake did not make the Gunners feel defeated despite a lot of pressure from Spurs at the end of the match.

This season Arteta is much more than last season to form his team to be great, the game is quite impressive that is displayed.

Ouhh I'm freefalling in this pool. Grin

I am really impressed by Arsenal and this is a great win, they need to keep up winning all of their games and hoping that Manchester City makes a mistake, unfortunately this will be very difficult for them as they have a firepower team capable of winning against anyone,it will be only luck and God's decision if Arsenal manages to win the title this season, they have no one to blame except themselves for all their mistakes during this season which in the end as they say "experience is the sum of all errors" and Arsenal must have known this very well in these last seasons, they have got a lot of experience but not a trophy,I think it would have been better a trophy and less errors but that's just me.

Nobody trust Darwin to score a goal except buwaytress

This made me laugh Grin
It has kind of been the story of our season, yeah. We create chances often but miss the impossible - both Nunez and Diaz.

This image from theanalyst clearly shows how poor we've been compared to City and especially Arsenal.

Shush now friends, one must eat the cake that was made for him. Maybe Slot sells him, maybe not, but he's all we got, I have to believe in him haha.

Darwin's goals are all really great for highlights reels, nothing like Salah who has maybe 70% of goals just good finishing. I won't forget that he led the tables for Europe's best with the few minutes he had, but yeah his regression seems to be at par with his teammates now.

Liverpool broke a lot of records this season. Most wins from behind, most injury time goals, and most post/bar hits. In all English league history. I do feel that a bit of bad luck played a part, but I always said this was unsustainable. And it finally broke the camel's back.

Your chart does prove that many teams overperformed expected goals though, while we underperformed. We're usually on the other side of that line...

Ain't you also rebuilding? You won no single major trophy in the last 5 years,  we can't say the same for Chelsea. Arsenal fans having so much pride for finishing second  Grin Don't worry we're both going trophyless again.
Competing for the title in two consecutive seasons is not a rebuild, a rebuild is about getting back an identity and a way of playing, being consistent and getting staff, players and fans all on the same track. You can win a trophy and still be rebuilding, Chelsea almost won the F.A cup this season, that would have not changed the fact that your team is still trying to find its feet.

We are all sure that Arsenal will be back again competing for the title next season whatever the outcome is this season, that is not a rebuild. Also, we won the F.A Cup in 2020.

Again, good-luck with your rebuild.

I predicted 2-2, but how I would love it if WestHam made better use of some of those dead ball situations late into the game and won it.
1 win in 5 matches is terrible form for this stage of the season, guess we can all say Liverpool bottled the league this season now having led the table the longest. Have fun rebuilding reds.... and blues.

Agreed - Liverpool and Westham defense were both shit. Who noticed Salah attitude on that Liverpool last counter  Grin dude saw Darwin in a bigger space and decided to move the ball in the middle of the pitch instead of laying the back for Drawin for a potential 1-on-one situation. Well. I was always expecting to concede first, it has been our song all season. But cannot remember the last time outside Europe we have been dominated in attack and midfield.

Not even able to watch but the pain seeps through the text updates I am getting. Mournful swansong for Klopp... and a torrid peek behind the curtains for Slot.

Igebotz at least our rebuild should not come with your price tag burden #laughsob

Yeah pray you don't come across few over valued spoilt kids around £80-£100m in today's market. From Feyenood to Liverpool is a big big step up - can he handle the pressure? This is a discussion for another time..

On a serious note the fraud manager of all time disappeared from the face of the earth after winning back 2 back CL with a prime Real Madrid team.... Not gonna mention names  Grin

Salah and Klopp fighting on the sidelines - Nah Klopp time to go!!! Another important point dropped. Title race gone.
