£100k off our book is huge...
Paying 200k to a player not on your books is huge

That red card for Rice is bullshit.  He was walking away when Veltman kicked the ball into the back of his heel.  The he gets kicked in the calf for it?
I have no issue interpreting the rules by the books but you should be consistent with it and the referee was not consistent. Veltman not getting a yellow card for kicking Rice is another decision I did not understand. Even without Rice touching the ball, there was no kick on at the time.

Sterling is finally off our book for good this season.
You are still paying majority of his salary for the duration of the loan so he is not technically of your books. You are paying for him to play for us.

Better than sitting at home drinking our £300k+/week while doing nothing, this way you're paying 100k/week to try and get the best out of him for us, so we can milk £60m from you guys next summer or we sell to Saudi. £100k off our book is huge...

I really don't think so. They'll get some financial penalty and that will be it.
Then, next season, some poor bottom league team will be 1mil in the red and will get 30 points deduction.
It is more profitable to give them a financial penalty and still benefit from their presence in the league. It is about the money.

What's Chelsea's plan with Sancho? This is now getting beyond ridiculous.

To replace Mudryk, he may be heading to Arsenal or Manutd Next season, the dude is uncoachable, 3 Managers, same problem, he can't even do basic things right.

Feel like something big is cooking behind the screens. Also they sold Alvarez and not bought replacement with almost 100M just from that transfer in the bank? Suspicious.

Let's summarize. "Manchester city and Chelsea to win more trophies than Liverpool and Arsenal??."
City + Chelsea wins means you win, you get 3 mbtc
Liverpool + Arsenal wins means you lose, I get 3 mbtc

Leave me a neutral using the link of this post and we are in a good to go.

Yes, an easy win for you again this season. Leave a neutral if you can but I prefer CLS63 adding to the spreadsheet.

Sterling is finally off our book for good this season.

No, the last time I checked you had the title at your advantage for two consecutive seasons and ofcos you bothered it cause you were lacking a good striker and had to depend on shitty players like Jesus and Kai Havertz to score.
Did you say 'No' to us finishing 2 points off the eventual champions last season? Do you actually watch the league, what's going on?  Huh

Nope, no football world cares about you lots finishing -2 points off, I never doubted that. You guys shouldn't be flexing muscles for bottling the league twice in a row, there's no medal for runner-up, win the goddame thing and stop stressing us with shitty excuses. I can boldly chat to you about winning trophies cause I took one off Pep's nose. We dare you guys to do it....

Kai Havertz will never win ⅓ of what he won with us at Arsenal and that's factos..... No Chelsea fan cares about him and he's no better than any of our attacking options at the moment. Come and take Sterling off our book.  Cheesy

Try to read back your own reply slowly, maybe that will help you realize that actually having the title in your advantage and narrowly missing out on it is "competing", so you are wrong when you wrote this:
...you can't compete against a team...

You make trolling not fun  Roll Eyes and get over Havertz already, it has been a year

I think this will only motivate Man City players to win all matches and score more goals.
I want it too. If we are going to win the league I would want it to be without any 'buts' or 'ifs'.

Last time I checked we finished the season 2 points off the top last season, if that is not competing I do not know what is. I also think as a Chelsea supporter you have a lot more problems to worry about than genuine title challengers.

Being a genuine bottler and a title challenger are two different things, know where your club belongs. Arsenal supporters can't chat to Chelsea supporters about winning trophies. Lol

I've been critical of Arteta's management in the past, but the last couple of seasons I've been tolerant.  This is the kind of thing that frustrates me.  If you're not improving you're failing.  Everybody else is being aggressive, so why would you sit back and employ the same strategy season after season?

Arteta is operating like Zidane at this point, no squad depth, no squad balancing, just milking the current squad and burning them out. It's either Edu is bad at what he does or Arteta has no pull.

This is the season for Arsenal. Especially if city gets points punished or even relegated due to FFP breaches.
I think this will only motivate Man City players to win all matches and score more goals.
Man City is too big club to get big point deduction, but they are going to pay big financial fee for sure.
Chelsea could face similar problems, they made mistakes in past also.

I follow the official Arsenal account on Twitter, but they won't publish the gossip, dirt, and speculations that I'm referring to.  Any specific hackette you would recommend?
Try @now_arsenal and @AFTVMedia for Arsnela news. For general transfer speculation try, @EduardoHagn, @David_Ornstein and of course, @FabrizioRomano.

It was a good enough strategy last year, obviously they came oh-so-close.  But having come so close and missing the championship by such a small margin, you would think they would be aggressively trying to improve the striker position since it's been vulnerable.
My exact line of thoughts. You also cannot depend on one single way of winning a match, we should always have the ability to change our strategy when needed. Sure we broke down defenses easily last season, but struggled to do so in the UCL.

I was going to call that fake news, had to go and check first and confirmed it.
But they still have very low odds for City to win the league and finish in the top 4, maybe it is a precaution for anyone who wants to get clever. Could not happen, could it?

It hurt to watch Eddie leave our club along with ESR, those two have been Arsenal all the way through for so many years.
Yeah but they needed to leave to make progress in their careers. Young players need to play and they wouldn't have gotten enough minutes in Arsenal squad. It would have been just some league cups and maybe some cameo appearances here and there.

I doubt it. The transfer window is closing and we are in no serious bid for a striker. Arteta looks to be sticking to the same game plan last season with Havertz leading the line from deep and Jesus as the backup striker.

Same old Arsenal - zero ambition, you can't compete against a team with a robot scoring 25+ goals a season with a 8-9 goals striker. The most pathetic thing about this is your manager and club is aware of their weaknesses and still choose to ignore.

Chelsea submitted official bid for Sancho - he has given the green light, now up to Manutd- not sure what I should expect honestly.

I only heard today that Palace is looking to sign Nketiah, but what's going on with Rowe?  Any indication as to why they're leaving?

It pisses me off how slow EPL news makes it's way to the states.
Nketiah was being considered by Palace for some time and all parties seemed keen on the deal.

It is frustrating to see a footgun this early in the season.  I can't imagine they're putting all their eggs in Jesus' basket, maybe they have an ace up their sleeve.

Smith wasn't getting enough playing time and was not part of the project; he is too good to stay on the bench every season with such tremendous potential. A big shame Arsenal didn't include a sell-on-clause in his contract.

Jesus will always be Jesus disappearing when the team needs him the most as usual.
