I just check my pool picks and both are going against me which is not good sign right now need goals from Norwich and Watford but statics going against them so look like dropping some more points.

Today nearly 14 members fail to place picks look like now they have no interest and feeling they already out of this competition. Sad

This is what I have :

Good for you that you already got Antonio, I need Pukki to score 🤪
The bet seems reasonable. I need West Ham to draw and Watford to win although Watford is not looking good today so far.

Edit:
Shit, Castle scored! Not good, not good.

Mixed results for me this week
I need to collect some good point in this weekend. It seems everyone behind me are cheesing me easily and Toke is moving faster than everyone else. 5 matchs today. MoSala will surely overtake me if I have an average week. It's very hard to make picks in this round for me.

Watford's performance is lower than average but had to pick them because it seems Watford performs better against Castle in their home ground. I hope Deeney will score a goal today. Hard pick in the West Ham match too. I have gone with a draw, can't actually make up my mind.

Anyone, made their pick on FJM?
My picks for FJM Antonio, Deeney, Salah, Jimenez, Kane, Vardy, Martial

in last round I was 4/7 now hopefully this week will be some better.

^  I did...

Antonio
Wellbeck
Salah
Jimenez
Auba
Vardy
Fernandes

I also got three bets parlayed.  West Ham double chance, the Watford match under 3.5 goals and LFC to win at 2.19ish.  Grin

Edit:  My NUFC double chance at 2.07 is looking good.

Mixed results for me this week, hit it big in the other leagues, but flopped on Wolves the past 2 games and they made up a lot of good parlays (2/1 always seems good value when they're involved). Nuno also won best manager of the month so it only made sense...

I put in some crazy picks for the remainder of the games, including a couple of Norwich wins, only pride to play for sometimes gets you up a few notches. Everything to play for the rest of us though, last place consolation is our money back;)

Originally had 0-0 for the Spurs game last night but changed it last minute to 0-1 to Spurs thinking they should be able to get a goal. Would have been mad at changing it but I also changed the Everton game from 1-0 to 1-1 and that came in so ended up with the same amount of points in the end regardless of the change. Retook the fifth spot again but it's so close between places 2- to mid table really. Anything can happen. Can't afford any slips ups or the top 5 will be shaken up drastically but I think Tokeweed is safe in the number one spot.

Another great win for Man Utd, they are definitely going to make a CL spot (assuming City are defo banned). Elsewhere Aston Villa are in deep trouble.

They'll find out on Monday whether the ban stays or not.

Now from top to bottom all Premier League is very interesting as all teams fighting hard for some good reason at top Manchester United Chelsea Leciester Arsenal Wolves and Sheff have something to fight same at bottom now Aston Villa and Norwich in serious troubles and Watford and Bournemouth still fighting hard for survival.

I've missed today to pick the first two matches, but there were two draws, so I would have earned zero points however  Smiley

I have a 0:2 on the pool for the last today's match, and Man. United is going to win this easily
not bad round n.34, I had even worst rounds Grin

^  Too late.  Lol.  The money's booked at FJ just a couple of minutes after I made the post...  It's up to Steve Bruce now.  Cheesy

Edit:  Everton vs Southampton could be a decent match.  I think am gonna watch that one now.

What do you guys think of the double chance for Newcastle at 2.07 vs Watford?  Seems value and it's basically like +1 handicap at a good price.

Never against Watford Smiley They are fighting team and they have been playing better then results showed. Now when they won that last game and with a such nice goal from Welbeck I am expecting them to continue. Maybe I am biased since they are my favorite low tier team this season, BTC logo on their sleeve helped a bit as well. Newcastle doesn't need points anymore and you never know how the team will perform in those situations. I would take that bet only if Newcastle is in some sort of rivalry with Watford but I don't think there is anything special going on between those two clubs.

But you are right that odds definitely have value. I just don't think that will be a winning bet. You can say the same for Villa tonight, all bets on them have big value but I am skipping them anyway since United is on fire. Those are situations when bookies, maybe even intentionally, lower the odds on favorite way too much. I take them when I feel there is a chance for upset but more often I just skip those games.

I like Wolves and want them to do well. Nice to see Sheffield doing great though also. Pretty crazy since they were in the Championship last year. It's rare that teams move up from there and do well. Look at Norwich. They won the league and now they're rock bottom and are almost certainly going straight back down.

Yep, always like the smaller teams to do well.
The good thing with Norwich is that they’ve not had any Knee jerk panic overpriced January signings and haven’t sacked the manager . They’ll get a good pot of money and use that to re group next season.

Didn't do great yesterday but was close on the draw with the Sheffield Wolves game but then they went and scored in injury time. Sheffield are only one point behind Wolves now. Both could still get that Europa spot but I think Man U will likely hold onto it or maybe Leicester will drop some points and get overtaken. No real exciting matches tonight.
Watched some of the Sheffield United match last night - it was a draw all the way - Wolves must be gutted !

Can’t work Leicester out - they seem to be all over the place, there’s no consistency at all - just like my picks  Smiley

A draw against Arsenal was good for Leicester.

Anyone fancy Bournemouth for a surprise tonight ?

Not for me, though I don't know whether to go for a draw or Spurs win.

Agree with panjul07 as right now if someone can predict just four of five exact results in single round then surely he can score some good points and have good chance of winning consolation prize as right now going in top five is very difficult but no impossible.

4 or 5 is very hard to do though and is usually rare. I'm not sure how many I got with my highest score as it doesn't seem to say for some reason. All I can see is the results, close scores and slam points. It's not all about exact scores either as you can tally points up easily just by getting right results with close scores. Yeah, 5 rounds to go, and there is no chance for me to get any prize on this pool, but the fun of picking the results is still alive
Today we have 3 PL matches going on

Lol am with you on this one. Looking at the table you might think I should have stopped participating in the pool by now since my chances of winning anything this season are like that of Arsenal with the hope of defeating Man City and winning the FA Cup finals (that's me getting the highest point in a round lol). Anyway it's still fun trying my luck also putting some hopes of MJ7.

The Crystal palace, Chelsea game was my highlight of the night as securing the 3 points was just based on luck and nothing else, the defence weren't solid as all goals scored by crystal palace should have been easily avoided. Anyway, Kurt Zouma for president...

I also feel the same but dont forget that there is still a chance to win the consolation prizes, so for those who have no more chance to finish on top 5 by the end of the season still has the chance to beat those who are currently leading for the consolation prizes.
I have low chance to finish at top 5 as well, I did miss some picks after the restart that makes me lose some possible points because I did not place my prediction for some matches last round.
Lets do our best for the remaining rounds with a hope to win the consolation prize Smiley

I hope Liverpool can secure an away win tonight. Liverpool is not playing good football away from home lately but I have three bets parlay today and I was keen on including Liverpool in that because odds were too good to ignore. Now I have parlay including Man City win, Liverpool win and Barcelona win. Man City is completely unpredictable but if you have coach like Pep, you are expected to improve mistakes and don't lose two in a row. For Barcelona, I am sure they will take away an easy win at home. Barca vs Villarreal was awesome. If not for Villarreal goalie, Barca could have won by 7-1 at least. Players have finally started pulling correct strings.
