I just noticed that @Hhampuz didn't submit a scoreline for the Spurs vs City, meaning that even with just 1.5 points so far, i will not win the wooden spoon this week *phew*  Smiley

Man these last three weeks have been brutal.. I've been raking in like 1.5, 4, 1 points IN A COMPLETE ROUND.

Yuk, just about given up too.
So you gave up!
It is sad and frustrating when you do not predict the matches correctly and end up having low score. You are not alone. I was very much ahead and was leading the leader-board but after crossing the 200 points mark I started to suck in my picks. In constitutive few rounds I had shit scoring and it's going to be the same today too.

City lost their golden chance in that Penalty. Now with 10 men, two goals down, they can not do anything I think. I am in fact guessing that Tottenham will have a clean sheet. Tottenham is looking very confident right now.

This young man Bergwijn was beautiful to watch. It's a dream start for him in Tottenham.

I'm the only one who predicted a Spurs win, really guys? Hoping the score keeps this way so I get the full 3 points, though I will only regain 17th spot and go farther down from 5th.

Loving this league. Not so much Superbru =p
Looks like you are going to get that you wanted however I would love to see at least one goal from City. In so many occasions I predicted the correct scores but after the match the opposite team win with the same goal margin.

Now this is what I call a Sunday game worth watching. That penalty put my heart in my mouth, but seriously another 2 minutes before VAR comes? Seriously Spurs and City always have a VAR incident but Pep can't complain about this one, he got it after the fact, and they bottled it.

2 shots, 2 goals for Spurs. City 7 shots and nada.

Now look like its all about Tottenham as City is playing with 10 men and goal down still this match gone with draw as this week we have already many if not then only @Sojourner with points and all others with big red devil. This red card and goal happen just because of mine as I place my bet on City they have red card and one goal down.

Well one game down as a draw so far today and the Spurs/City game is currently 0-0 at half time. Bit of drama in that game as well and it was getting pretty heated towards the end. VAR gave a penalty 2 minutes after the fact. Loris saved it, then he arguably took out Sterling in the follow up. City wanted another pen and Spurs wanted him to get another yellow and sent off for diving. The ref didn't give either. Probably the right decision as it wasn't really clear what happened from the var. The first one was a penalty though but allowing play to go on for two minutes before it's pulled back is ridiculous.

If any team was  capable of ending Liverpool's invincible run, it would had been Manchester United but don't understand what happened the day they played, Manchester city aren't capable of taking even a point. Liverpool will still defeat then without much stress.

Manchester could have got a draw in that game. As Ollie boasted, they were still in the game right until the last kick of the match. United definitely could have got the equaliser as well and they played pretty strongly in the last ten but obviously the second goal in the last minute of injury time sealed it.

Are there any extra points if someone wins a yellow cap and in just next round wooden spoon?
I can't believe whats happened here.

You can have an imaginary fall from grace point from me if you want  Cheesy.

Most of peoples fail to have good points in this round many strange result I was sure @hilarious will be on top as mostly he love draws but in this round he is also still with only 5 points as have not good enough draws another strange thing for me Angry
Too many draws.
Leicester - Chelsea 0 - 0
Castle - Norwich 0 - 0
West Ham - Briton 3 - 3
Utd - Wolves 0 - 0
Burnley - Arsenal 0 - 0
Let's see what we see in Tottenham vs City match.

5 draw out of 9 match, this is something else! I usually do not go with draw much and this is why I see my score is only 5.5 so far. I can not complain man.

I can't believe whats happened here.

It just shows how damn difficult it is to predict results. Apart from l the rest of the league is really competitive & anybody can beat anybody.

I have no idea but logically there should not have such points. Assuming you are talking about you and in this case I think you still have two more games to see before to get the wooden spoon 😜
Honestly speaking if you look at the points in this round (top 8.5 so far from 8 matches) then we have to say that no one did much good. The results are unexpected for most of the teams except Liverpool.

I don't want to downplay the quality of Liverpool, they look really good. But this season very reminds me of 2015/16 and Leicester title win. All other team are below average and except Liverpool, no one looks like a serious team.

@Pamoldar. City will be motivated to beat us trust me. They know we'll win the league but if we win it unbeaten it'll wipe their 100-point campaign, 19-point lead, season away from memory. But Klopp, no matter what he says, will want to make sure we slap them soundly. And we want it wiped out from memory don't we?Wink
Lose yourself
City might have a motivation but they have to be real that with this mental state (don't believing in themselves, losing faith in their own performance, clueless attacks and poor defense. Although two months is a long time 4th April) threatening an inform team who nearly forgot the test of losing is a dream for them.

Klopp will not need to do anything special to take on a broken City team 😜

@hilarious yeah, those games even at draws were high scoring ones, though we all should proooobably have seen the scoreless drab at Newcastle. I'm backing Spurs and Arsenal today, because you can't count on them... and I want them to surprise me.

If Liverpool lose I doubt it will be at home. Maybe City will grab a point or three in April but I don't think I'd back them to win but too early to tell. Liverpool have Watford at the end of the month which I don't think will be easy but they've lost their last two games now. And then there's the Merseyside derby in March which is always interesting but Everton aren't playing great but did beat the aforementioned Watford today.

Taking any point from Liverpool in Anfield is not possible for any team in the near future, at least not from this aggressive and hungry Liverpool team. In away matches the best a team can do is a draw but I really do not see any team has the ability to do that in this season.

City is too unpredictable lately. I feel like they are following the path of Utd lately. The City we have seen 5 months ago and the City we are seeing now has huge mental deference and football in this stage is a mental game. City needs to improve a lot.

The only team who do better against strong teams may take a point from Liverpool and it could be Utd(I am too lazy to remember if we are already done with Utd). The match against Watford (I do not know when) will be an easy win. Watford is one of the clueless team in this season. They have lost twice from 0-2 lead LOL

All those are easy games for Liverpool this season, imagining them playing within the week and still beat their fresh opponent 4-0 without them replying. There's something special in the way Liverpool plays this season. They play their heart out in order to win games, their determination can be be compared with other clubs. Hardly before you see them relax or give up when they're leading especially with 1/2 goals difference. The squad is very versatile, not depending on just one individual as others step up when thwur services are been called upon.

Well. This is what I call me just not being able to get it right. Of course, the one time we actually make it to 3-0 Salah goes and scores another haha. But hell, I'd give up my points any day to get Salah another goal. Hattrick of assists for Bobby, man we tried to get Minamino to score didn't we?

Anyway @hilarious you turned out to be right after all for 2 draws out of the 5 you picked. Congrats on the 2-2s for the few who did. But tell you what, Watford and West Ham should have won their games... but for 2 minutes of madness on both halves' injury time for the former and an own goal on the latter. Damn! What a Saturday of entertainment though!

Four draws out of the total 8 games. Shame I only picked two of them right. A late injury time goal in Watford - Everton cost me another draw though and the rest were only won by one goal apart from the Liverpool game where I picked 2-0. Manchester United - Wolves was another draw in the late game. Went with a 1-0 home win but you can't back United anywhere these days. I suppose they were equal on points before and after this match and Wolves are no push-over this season but United should be doing better.

Anyone going for both draws on the games tomorrow? Still undecided but I know if I change them from draws then they'll both come in haha so might as well stick to my guns.

Southampton actually played really good - especially in the 1st half. The thing is - Liverpool is just way too good.

I know I sound like a broken parrot - but this team is unreal. They look unbeatable.
I too feel that I sound boring when I am talking about Liverpool. Too predicted LOL

Someone was saying that they will have hard time. I knew they would not have much hard time. Yes, Southampton was good enough in the first half to restrict Liverpool not to score but I knew that it will backfire the Southampton team and Liverpool will take revenge in the 2nd half which they did. In the 2nd half I was expecting over 2.5 goals and all from Liverpool and they did it after breaking the deadlock of 1st half.

Liverpool is the too good for any other team in EPL this season.

Leicester vs Chelsea - I am confuse
Bournemouth vs Villa - I am confuse
Palace vs Sheff - I am confuse
Liverpool vs Southhamton - Confident that Liverpool will win
Castle vs Norwich - Castle should win
Watford vs Everton - I am confuse
West Ham vs Brighton - I believe West Ham to win.

So far the outcome of my feelings

Leicester vs Chelsea; with a 2 - 2 draw, I was right on hesitating to pick Leicester to win.
Bournemouth vs Villa; I had hard time and got lucky. Ended up with a correct score. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Palace vs Sheff; again lucky here to manage to get 1.5 points
Liverpool vs Southhamton; can't go wrong. Always win with them.
Castle vs Norwich; I have not watch the match but what was going wrong there? Castle could not manage to get any point!
Watford vs Everton; seriously! Until the first 45 minutes they were leading by 2 - 0 and then in two minutes 2 goals from Everton to equalize and the end of 2nd half another goal for Everton. Won the match by 2 - 3. Isn't it 2nd time Watford lost a match from 2 - 0 lead?
West Ham vs Brighton; poor West Ham. Even after 2 - 0 lead in the first half, they had to share the points.

Coming up, Utd match. Another unpredictable team.
