I’m 7th now, damn it. I was 1st for ages at one point, definitely throwing the towel in now as far as my designs to win the pool this season go.
Oh well, I’ll just have to cheer myself up by watching LFC win the treble

All it takes is a couple of good rounds to get back at the top 5 imo. I remember somebody did it at the last pool... Think it was Hampuz.

Well guys, looks like games are off today. The City one's definitely called off, can't see if the one for Sheffield is still going on. Storm is well and truly there I guess. Where I am, all games called off even from yesterday and some public transport disruption.
Internet also very unreliable now, but also bitcointalk forum servers pinging me out so much today. Anyone else having the same problems?

Yeah, I had some problems with the internet. The storm was crazy yesterday. Some or the heaviest winds and rainfall I've seen. I'm closer to Sheffield than Manchester so I'm surprised that wasn't called off. There'll be a lot of waterlogged pitches today I reckon. Loads of flooding down here.

What? You have everything to play for in seventh. I'm right below you by half a point and I'm still hoping for a top five spot. I'm not putting money on it as the top 5 are doing really well but I'm only 5 points behind fifth place.
The City game has been rescheduled for Wednesday but I'm not sure if the storm will have even passed by then. Snowstorms are meant to be coming as well. Time to get the orange balls out

You are spot on, Watford just scored an own goal. Watford defender really gave his best to slide in and put the ball behind his own keeper.
Hopefully, Deeney will manage to squeeze a late winner on other side.

Well I got that score bang on but so did five others. I'm really tempted to go for the draw on the Sheff United / Bournemouth game but I think Sheff should just pip this game with the home advantage. Man City should have no problem turning over West Ham unless they put out a weakened team but I can't see why they would. City don't really have much to play for at this point though and there's the Champion's League coming up in about ten days time so maybe they'll start to concentrate on that.
They're so inconsistent. They often play really well and can be backed at home, but I can't trust them to win away. A point is a good result for them though as they don't deserve to be second from the bottom. I'm hoping they can claw there way out of the zone but they've got some really difficult fixtures coming up. Both Man United and Liverpool up next back to back and I'd be surprised if they can grab more than a point or two in their next five matches so it's not looking good for them.

Second half's started. And Pickford barely punched away the first attack with McCarthy's homing in... and now Benteke's got it to 1-1. Maybe he doesn't need crosses after all when Pickford plays like this! Zaha assist and GAME ON but hilarious looking good at 1-1?
A long way to go for it to stay at 1-1. Over half an hour left. Edit 1: Fuck, Everton just scored. Can only hope for a VAR overrule now. They seem to be taking their time to kick off which isn't uncommon now with VAR.
