Right now Manchester United cannot affored open game specially against team like Liverpool because they are facing many problems injured players and many off the field so look like its going under as Solkjaar is also not new in this field he understand few things most probably he will use Mourinho style and play with tight defence for safety of his place.

Yep, this game is coming in a really bad moment for United. I hope the bookies will also think United is a favorite to win, but I do not expect it.
If they do, I plan to heavily take advantage of that

Alisson should return in goal for Liverpool which is good, but TBH Adrian did a great job while he was gone. United will have more problems replacing De Gea though. Pogba? Not so much, that guy is not playing most of the time when he's on the pitch anyway.

Liverpool is starting their run of difficult fixtures which are followed by busy schedule and lots of traveling. It will culminate in December. The reds will play 9 games from 4.12.2019. till 02.01.2020. including traveling to world club championship. I am tipping reds are loosing points against Leicster on Boxing day. That games comes only 4 days after world club championship final.

I made me picks two days ago, I think. I'm glad we back, the last 10 days has been utterly boring.

I'm sure Liverpool will eventually drop points someday, I just can't figure when this could be expected, Everytime I pick Liverpool to win in the pool, I keep saying to myself "could it be today", It could happen when everyone least expect. I do not think Liverpool will do the same mistake they have done in the last season. This season they are not giving any chance to any of the opponents so far and talking their games very seriously.

I will go with Liverpool without any doubt. Not final but I think it will be a 2 - 0.

Don't forget that the league is back on Saturday. 13 people haven't put their scores in but I know a few like to leave them late. Anyone with balls going for a United win vs Liverpool? Still unsure of whether to go for some sort of draw or the straight Liverpool win. I suppose it will come down to the line-ups on the day, especially if De Gea and Pogba are out. I've got a feeling United are going to bounce back at some point and surprise everyone but maybe not this weekend. I hope that Liverpool don't go into the game expecting an easy with because that could backfire.

Man City were always a mediocre side before the money. Basically any billionaire can buy a team and transform them into one of the world's best if they throw enough money at it within the laws of the game (though it's harder to do these days with fair play laws and such). There's no real glory in winning anything really. It's why I don't really support a team anymore and just see it as entertainment. I''d love to see some sort of league where teams only played players from their local area like Athletic Bilbao. The Premier League might be one of the best in the world but just look at how shit the English National team is. It would be nothing without the big money attracting players here.


If they lose this game they probably will be there even if it's only brief. Can you image if they were really struggling to get out of it all season? It's not much crazier than thinking Leicester would ever win the league to be honest.   


Had two great weeks but I seem to go between great results and next to nothing. Still being first at this point means little especially when it's so close at the top. Anyone could still win it really as long as they're consistent. I was mid table until the last few rounds so players don't be discouraged if you're not in the top ten right now. Slow and steady wins the race.

In theory, yes. In real life, there's just too much history there - there always was. In most Yugoslavian teams - be it football, basketball or something else.
It really is a shame - especially because we are really much alike. But politics always has its way to make conflicts where there shouldn't be any.

I think something like that is happening with England. There was no war there but there is too much intolerance between fans of different clubs, it transfers to players and I think they don't play as good together as they should. Probably the unity is not there.

^  The 'drive' would depend on how the coach manages his squad imho.  And yup, it would've been fantastic to see Dzeko, Perisic, Mandzukic and Jovetic under one flag...

Yeah, most of our country really cares about the national team. We have only 1 big team left and that is Dinamo, but even before, when the rivalry between Dinamo and Hajduk was really strong, national team is something that united us. Probably because we got our independence not so long ago and national team was always a patriotistic pillar that brought us all together so I guess it kind of still remains.

England? I quite like them as a team, they played well with 3 at the back in the WC so I expect them to do the same during the Euros.


This is something that bugs me for a while, but I expect TAA to be a strong first choice if they go 3 at the back. England has some really good players at right back, competition there is strong and TAA has shown a lot of defensive inconsistency this season. I still think he should get more game time, but both Trippier and Walker are decent options and strong competition.


Yeah, if you put a list of names on paper. I think that they would not play with the same drive, although it would be a fantastic team.

You guys probably have more heart & affinity towards your national team. I couldn’t care less about England, they’re crap & most weeks I hate the players - Maguire, Rashford, all the Chelsea players etc. I can’t bring myself to care.

Especially when my team is on fire and we are about to face United - waiting 2 weeks for it really is a pain in the ass

About damn time! The pool is actually closer than I would've thought.. hopefully we start seeing some positions shift here moving forward (like.. me moving straight up!) .
