Let's win the first one before we start even thinking about power shifting.

Yes, we play good football and yes, this really smells like it's our season. I just don't want to get too cocky before we actually win anything domestically.
The last trophy we won at home is still King Kenny's Mickey Mouse cup way back in 2012.

Way too little to be talking about a power shift. Let's be humble and keep talking on the pitch only.

Great start to the season for us but I can’t get too excited just yet or I might set myself up for disappointment. We have some tough games coming up after the international break.

You don't mean Man United and Tottenham tho.  Lolol.  There's just the Gunners which nothing you can't handle.

Anyway the power is shifting back to Merseyside now...  Just like at 2011 when it shifted from United to City.

Well against Man Utd first and I do not think they can stop us. They themselves have no clue with what they need to do to play football. This past round was even worse for them.

Then we have against Tottenham. They are also not playing good football but better than Utd though. But we are playing in Anfield. It's not gonna be an easy task for Tottenham to take away any points from us.

Yeah, we can have some luxury LOL
Next match against Man Utd. I am expecting to destroy them with a 3 - 0.
Utd seriously need to find a way to win a match. I was expecting him to lose and they did.

Wow, insane! I thought City will go full revenge today but they lost again. At home Shocked

It is still way too early and all this can change soon, but Liverpool could not have dreamt for something like this. I thought they will have problems when I heard that Laporte got injured, but this is really beyond all expectations.

It was crazy week for everyone indeed, Only Hilarious was able to get a double digits point. Just last week almost everyone had as much as Hilarious did this week...
Congrats to Hilarious for taking the lead, You're definitely going to last longer on the 1st position than LTU_btc, Since we are out of actions for the upcoming weekend.

It's definitely going to be a hard chase for City now, but It's definitely still too early for any conclusions to be drawn.

I had my doubts  Embarrassed
I'm having this slight doubt about going with Man City today

Well, I may not win this pool but City has ensured I am as happy as I was last season (I caught 2 of their 3 shock losses in EPL). Are we allowed to dream so soon?

Norwich 25/1 and Wolves 21/1. Eight games into the season and I could still bet against them every game and lose, and still end up in 140% profit... but the bookies aren't going to give 20/1 odds anymore at this rate!

Ah, how nice to watch a Man United match and still be so happy;)

@hilarious. I expected City to score I can't remember the last time they didn't? But yeah, backing the upset and getting 1.5 points feels so hollow haha. but hey Loving the season so far. Liverpool better take full advantage. Guess City forgot how it feels like to chase now huh!

I was going to say beforehand what is sojourner playing at backing the Wolves win away, but now I think he might have had an inside tip  Cheesy. Surely Liverpool won't throw this away now. I hope they don't take their foot off the gas because of the buffer.

I’m down to fucking 3rd in the pool  Cheesy
Man like hilarious absolutely storming to the top of the table.

Well I started off great but not got much from everything else. The United game is going to be interesting. The picks are split. Most have gone for the away United win, and they should win, but I don't have that much faith in them and have gone for the draw as have 9 others. Majority have gone for the 1-1 but two others have gone for 0-0 and 2-2. If it isn't the draw then I'd probably go with 0-1 but wouldn't be shocked by a Newcastle win at all.

^  I didn't watch any matches and was shocked as soon as I checked the scores.  Wow I mean I'd get the idea of losing points after the winter break (due to fatigue) but this is just ridiculous.  Something's prolly wrong...

Nice to finally see Adama Traore play well tho.  I hope to see more.  Smiley

Right then, I'm headed home but will surely miss the first three matches, but I got in a last-gasp bet on Wolves to beat City at 21/1 hahaha.

Newcastle are seriously actually not considered that much of outsiders at 4/1, seriously? I will wait to see 4.5 or 4.6 maybe before I take that.

Whatever the outcomes today, I already made my luck yesterday so everything is fine and dandy. Enjoy the games, go Jimenez!

@Trofo did you win Fiorentina? Bundesliga is amazing, I wanted to bet on 'gladbach to top the league this weekend it was 12/1 I saw on a special bet. But wow it actually happened.

What a tragic Saturday for me... the only bright side is that Liverpool is still the leader of the Premier League
I’ve made the picks for today’s matches on the pool but I’m not so sure if I will make any bets, cause I cannot detect any good odds, maybe some over goals scored on Arsenal, City and Mutd... but...

I am thinking under on Newcastle-Man Utd game. I see this game as 0:0 or 1:1 boring draw. But maybe Man Utd surprises me and plays out a good game.

Arsenal should win with over goals and probably both to score as well. I have few bets on this game with all those markets combined.

I am not touching City game since the odds for anything I think likely to happen are very low.

Chelsea also looks like a game with a lot of goals so both to score and Chelsea not to lose look like good choices for me.

I am waiting to see how my morning ticket will pass before making bets, it will greatly influence the number and stakes for my bets today. Waiting for Osaka and Fiorentina  Wink

The West Ham vs Crystal Palace :
No one manged to get any point. I would say it was another upset of the day after Tottenman to lose against Brighton. So, we still have the same points in the point table.

By the way, I am wondering how are we doing in FJM? I already got two wrong result LOL

Another Liverpool escape, what a stupid penalty to concede in the last minute. But, honestly, match should have been over long before that Maddison goal.

I do not know what's happening with Tottenham, but their results are disasterous and 3 of their key players have their contracts running out and they will probably leave on a free  at the end  of the season. Poch will probably too, they will have a huge amount of rebuilding on their hands this year.

I generally try to be hard on Liverpool but yeah, we should really have wrapped up that match at half time if we're being critical.

And Adrian's good, I'm not going to knock him, he's saved us a lot of goals but at the same time I wonder if Alisson would have some of the clean sheets for us.

So far so good with my betting, working like a charm to use my bets as hedges against this pool predictions. Predicted a West Ham win like most others, but bet on a Liverpool/Crystal Palace parlay @5.91 (Sportsbet.io, no betting slip there to share) so I'm a happy camper =)
