Trofo's said it. Everyone will be dropping points all season long. Liverpool and City do have a tendency to finish strong, past 5 seasons they actually get more points in last 19 matches. City no surprise, deep squad. Liverpool fix kinks from when they start and always seem to get more from the youth they blood.

Nunez, TAA and Endo all get their yellow card slate wiped too (5 yellows by week 19 is a suspension) so that's a big boot too as they were all on 4 already.

United is the best value bet tonight. But will they break Red Devil hearts? I got Blades at very good odds, but surely they can't win at Etihad?

I probably missed this discussion, but did everyone notice how Everton, after depriving them of 10 points, began to win? This team has the will and I am sure that they will remain in the Premier League at the end of the season.

yeah, noticed of course
as a fan, I am not so sure that we will survive, too many obviously want us relegated

Everton is topping the chart with most penalties decided against us, and is bottom the chart with no penalty still this season for us
could be a coincidence, but with point deduction, it is hard to survive on these stats

and Luton started playing better, would like to see them survive on expense of Forest, not us, but will be a thorough fight till the end

I don't think Everton is in any danger this season. They were playing somewhat good even when results weren't going their way. 10 points deduction is a big hit but this season when we have Sheffiled & Burnley as almost secure relegation picks I am confident Everton can fight it out with Luton and forest.

Everyone is loosing points in PL this season, we could have one hell of a title race. I just keep waiting for City to get their act straight and and just sweep the competition.

WTF Arsenal?? The worst thing isn't that they lost actually but they made 10 shots (+20 including off) but so terrible that they didn't actually make the keeper sweat.

Moyes first win at big four home, he's in heaven man lol

I don't want say Arsenal have probably started the usual bottling of the league result, so I'm going to give them benefit of the doubt and see if they'd get atleast 7 points from their next 3 fixtures,
They have not had a firm grip at the top of the table as yet, so it cannot really be called bottling. If it were, then Liverpool and Tottenham alike would have also bottled it. Lots of matches still to go and lots of changes still to happen at the top of the pile.

It is ironic that Arsenal are called bottlers for last season, but Liverpool have gone neck and neck with City for 5 seasons before that, only winning once, and yet no one calls them bottlers. They were top for many of those years for some parts of the season too.

Arsenal are two goals down now.

Will take some miracle to turn this around and go top of the table at the mid way point.

It could have been even worse for Arsenal had Benrahma scored that penalty during the added time, I don't want say Arsenal have probably started the usual bottling of the league result, so I'm going to give them benefit of the doubt and see if they'd get atleast 7 points from their next 3 fixtures, anything short of that would definitely mean same old shit, just a different year, and you'd just Man City come out of nowhere with some 7-8 consecutive victory, and PL becomes a rinse and repeat cycle.

Can West Ham collect some points today? Arsenal needs to lose points. Everton broke my heart yesterday.
Bro your wish settled as you want, and Arsenal lost all three points with now on Saturday when Manchester City will win against Sheffield United then Manchester City could be at the second spot and Arsenal will drop to 3rd Aston Villa could be at the fourth and for the top four we can say difference is going to widen because Tottenham also lost against Brighton and now have to stay at their current spot fifth.

Now all depend on Liverpool how they will do in coming weeks because they are 2 points ahead and situation has never been easy for any league leader in this season many ups and downs happening most chances we will have one of the toughest end in last few years with nearly four teams will be fight hard for the title.

By the way if there is anyone who would like to make a side bet with me about Newcastle's finishing the league ahead of Chelsea I can accept that. I can at least reduce my loss by this. Cheesy
It seems you are winning the side bet against me. Nothing is working for me and to add more bad luck, I missed a few matches to pick in this round. Go ahead my man.

City is down again. I can hope for them to lose some more points ?

I have a small advantage right now. However as there is still a long time until the end of the season I can comfortably say that you still have a very big chance to get past me. Even though Everton played really well against City yesterday the great goal Foden scored at the beginning of the second half fired up Manchester City.

My predictions were really terrible this week. I was able to collect only 9.5 points.

I was watching goal fest in Brighton - Spurs game. Too bad Spurs did not manage to get third goal from couple of great chances, we would have had a truly epic finish to the game. Now switching to the Arsenal to see if they have what it takes to turn it around.

Really strange results, dropping lower and lower in the pool after solid start to the season.

I am pretty confident on my choices today for the two fixtures we have coming up. Arsenal should be pushed by their fans to a victory.

I thought about the same thing and I hope Arsenal can bounce back. If not, then my bet is still too bold for me to worry about losing it  Cheesy
Although, if we talk seriously, then Chelsea, Tottenham, Aston Villa and even City should win victories after failures, and I am +- confident in them.
Overall, a bad round for me (I won’t even check the result so as not to be upset haha) so at least let the bet be successful.

The funniest meme will be Liverpool and Arsenal napping on top of the league only for Manchester City to take over in May.

I despise Citeh for wrecking the league, but I can't help but smile when Liverpool and Arsenal fans cry.

I cannot make a correct prediction now to save my life even.

It has been 2-3 weeks of terribly low outcomes. Some are down to how matches are swaying unpredictably and others are just down to wrong ass choices.

I am pretty confident on my choices today for the two fixtures we have coming up. Arsenal should be pushed by their fans to a victory.

These last few rounds have been killing me - I can't get anything right. I've got 6 points in GW18 and am on 6 points so far in GW19.
Festive season's usually the worst part for me, but this time it's been really bad.

Luckily it's the same for most, but I've steadily been losing 2-3 points per round - which accumulates quite quickly.

I love this part of the season football-wise, but it's always horrible for my betting Grin

I've been steadily losing my grip on football/EPL betting since around the end of 2021. Nothing too bad, probably even in modest profit taking into account pool winnings etc but if I were betting purely on a fiat bookie I'd be running some red pages by now.

I know it's partially because I'm not giving enough attention to analysis, but objectively, I doubt I'd have done much different so I'm just putting it down to bad decisions.

Three games tonight, secretly hoping for Man City to drop points.
Few minutes of added time left for the first half and City are losing 1 - 0.

It has not been a convincing performance from City this season at all, and I was not so confident when I picked them to win tonight considering the atmosphere that was coming with Goddinson's Park. I was just not going to be betting against the tide on this one.

Brentford have also been terrible this evening, simply handing the victory to Wolves.

Brentford suffered badly and lost his match at home against Wolves with the score of 1–4 having now four matches losing streak but good for the Chelsea as they give me 3 points for the pool with Manchester City which score three goals in second half and Everton have 3 yellow cards in second half good comeback for the Manchester City which is now on recovery and have chance for staying in top four with Aston host Burnley and Manchester City will be host Sheffield United things could be tight between them for the four and third spot in league table.
Now tomorrow we will have Brighton vs Tottenham and Arsenal hosting West Ham which is going to suffer another bad result and having chance for dropping their spot from top ten.

...while I am interested to see the second half of City,if they don't win this then for me they are automatically out of the Premier League fight during this year.
We still have the whole second half of the season to go. Even if City losses, they will be just 8 points adrift from the top of the table, and have recovered from similar circumstances as early as last season when Arsenal went 8 points ahead. But if they are going to challenge they would have to play better than they are doing now.

No surprise results for me here except Manchester City which is losing 1-0 against Everton.Wolves is getting the three points easily in a Brentford that showed a good performance when they started the Premier League in the beginning stages and games of the competition, soon after though they are now in free fall by losing game after game and it looks like it won't stop any time soon.

Chelsea drawing would not be a surprise either against Crystal Palace while I am interested to see the second half of City,if they don't win this then for me they are automatically out of the Premier League fight during this year.
