By the way if there is anyone who would like to make a side bet with me about Newcastle's finishing the league ahead of Chelsea I can accept that. I can at least reduce my loss by this. Cheesy
It seems you are winning the side bet against me. Nothing is working for me and to add more bad luck, I missed a few matches to pick in this round. Go ahead my man.

City is down again. I can hope for them to lose some more points ?

Bet terms agreed! for $100 not 2mbtc. CLS63 add us to spreadsheet please.

This dude has no idea how shitty we're and I'm about to milk $100 out of our shitty performance. To begin with, we are losing against Crystal palace Tonight.  Angry

I have added it to the spreadsheet. Please check it out.  Smiley SpreadSheet

Even though Nkunku's return will make the team get rid of Jackson I don't think this will be much enough.

Nkunku is not Jackson's replacement, they'll complement each other, Nkunku is SS and AMF at the best of his abilities, and Nkunku-Jackson paternership would be DeBruyne-Haaland esque, I'm not saying they'll be as good as Citizens terrific duo, but they'll be bringing an almost perfection to the Chelsea squad imo.

I focused on removing Jackson out of my squad directly. Because after Jackson's performance so far I thought that if there was Icardi or Dzeko who have been playing in Turkey in Jackson's place Chelsea would have been able collect at least 7-8 points more.

I'll take a bet that both teams doesn't ahead of Chelsea, for 2 mBTC or $100 whichever you prefer, but to be clear of terms the bet, I'm betting that both Aston Villa and Newcastle will not finish above Chelsea, so I win the bet if Chelsea should finish above either of them, not necessarily both them, while I'll only lose the bet if both teams should finish ahead of Chelsea.

Agreed!

At least you'll be happier to pay $100 and seeing your team apparently good, but not really the best you had hope at the beggining of the season, and if your team does a poor the rest of the season, you'll get $100 and drink to stuppor with what you made off your team's misfortunate and hope a better next season, quite a good edge I would say.  Grin

I'm willing to bet that Aston Villa and Newcastle will finish ahead of Chelsea. We're mid table team now. Pre-Klop Liverpool era

As I thought that Newcastle wouldn't show a good performance this season I made a side bet with Hhampuz on Chelsea's finishing the season above Newcastle at the beginning of the season. While Newcastle have been showing a bad performance as I expected with the affect of injuries and suspension as well Chelsea are having a terrible season. I think the in-team friendship is also not very good. Sterling caused his team to lose 3 points maybe by shooting instead of passing the ball in the Wolves match. Even though Nkunku's return will make the team get rid of Jackson I don't think this will be much enough.

How often do you see this? Only 5 bastards picked the right outcome, and each got the maximum haul, with two goals in injury time.

On hindsight, I should have gone for a BTTS Liverpool-Arsenal draw, past results vs contenders suggest this was the likely outcome but we really ought to have won comfortably. We just love giving Erik and Mikel early presents...

Rare W for LFC_Bitcoin in this season’s pool Cheesy

Brentford vs Wolves
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace
Everton vs Man City

Three games tonight, secretly hoping for Man City to drop points.

Probably one of the not so many times we'll share a common idea or opinion  Grin

Injuries haven't helped their matters to be literally honest, and the chemsitry from their last season has dissappeared, there is absolutely possibilty getting back gradually, but they're trying to a Manchester City over just two years, and that's impossible.

I'd even say Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham and probably Aston Villa will all finish ahead of Newcastle this season.

We argued about it last season, and I recall telling you that the Newcastle United top four situation was similar to Leicester City's one-season wonder; they took advantage of Liverpool and Chelsea's awful starts last season and didn't have enough squad depth to continue.

They have the money, but not the influence. They will need more than just money to appear appealing. The manager and the project, not the money, usually entice players.

I'm willing to bet that Aston Villa and Newcastle will finish ahead of Chelsea. We're mid table team now. Pre-Klop Liverpool era

Boxing day is up next. This is the round that usually is crazy with goals and some insane results. I wonder what we can expect from it now. I went like i always do but i think that something insane will happen in this round. Hopefully i finally got some good results because last two rounds just killed me.

Villa killed me. Not for the first time, and usually in a painful way. Gerrard's 3-2 capitulation to City on final day is of course worse than last night's 3-2, funny it was after leading 2-0, both to Manchester clubs.

Need to start taking Newcastle less seriously too, it would seem.

After going two goals up, the whole Aston Villa midfield and defence allowed United dominate them in every area, and Emery's mistake was not adopting defensive tactics in the second half, resulting in one of the worst second halves of football from Aston Villa. With that comeback, ETH just bought himself another contract extension, he got everything right last night.

This Newcastle united team ain't making the top 4 this season. 1mbtc side.

There is no doubt we have too many goals in first five games of the Boxing Day with just Liverpool ended a match with 2 goals other all going over 2.5 which is amazing, but Newcastle United are going down and look like now Eddie Howe days are numbered with Saudi owners are not happy with this performance.
Bournemouth extended their winning streak and have good result against Fulham, Luton done good show against Sheffield United and won their second match.
Right now we have good fight back from Manchester United after ending 0–2 in first half now leading by 3–2 with we are in 97th minute of the game and just 2 minutes remaining.

Team news for the first boxing day match is in. Newcastle are going in with their familiar lineup but without Nick Pope and Lasceles, with the only notable absence being Joelington. Isak starts today and will be looking to get back to his pre injury form, while Trippier will be happy to get some good performances in after the last couple of weeks.

Nuni at Nottingham Forest will be hoping to turn the fortunes of the club around. He is giving some of their youngsters a chance for today's game and are not expected to pick up anything, which gives them the freedom to just play football and hope for the best.

Lots of unexpected results from this mid week. One which guts me the most was changing West Ham winning 2-1 to Manchester United winning. I was fooled by their terrible performance against Liverpool over the week and expected a similar lackluster performance today.

Arsenal are already ahead at Anfield in a fixture that has real significance for the title race. If it stays this way, Villa can finish the match week in second position.

I think this week many people made predictions that went wrong... I was rooting for Manchester United to score but that crumbled, then Fulham, Newcastle and Aston Villa and then Liverpool with a draw with no one picking up points in those games.  Sad

The only accurate guess was Spurs vs Everton with 3 points and then the Bournemouth game with 1.5 points.
Now just waiting for Chelsea over Wolves, maybe another wrong guess for choosing Chelsea. Lol
Same happening to me even I was happy after first match but suddenly things gone on wrong way for me and many other members as well now today we have only one match which is going to play between Wolves vs Chelsea both teams are on same level with most chances we will have Draw/Wolves because they are doing good job at home and Chelsea is having problems in away games which are surely going to have not good for them in this game as well.

Liverpool vs Arsenal was also big disappointment for me as well, but now we have to accept reality and looking forward instead of looking into pass which is already gone.

You are not alone fooled I have many others also which done this mistake and place bets on draw and Manchester United win after watching their performance against team like Liverpool and now leaking their wounds as they are on big loses even I was also expecting another draw for them with Hammers were also not predictable for the last few games, but they have done good comeback and hammer badly to them and now look like Ten Hag days are numbered with rumors are going around for the sacking of him and Eddie Howe as well but let's watch what happen in coming days.
