Just like our tie breaker bet between Arsenal and Man City in the shield, you saw how every thing changed within a split second of Arsenal scoring a very late and extremely lucky goal.

So sometimes, you get to lose while being at your best and other times you win while performing at your worse, I'm currently winless in 8 games + the cup, would you think my choices were that awful ? I really don't think so and could I have done better ? maybe, maybe not... but just two wins from 9 games while I'm only having -2 points PD shows how close it has been for me, and how unlucky I get when it gets to those tie breaks.

But that's the beauty of the competition, isn't it ?, except for you trying to be the Arsene Wenger of the invisible season this time around Wink

It's the same for me. I need some points this week to recover my previous spot in the standings and avoid the possibility of fighting for relegation in the last few rounds of the season.

I like that idea of a reward for most answers across entire "league system". I would also like to see something small go toward someone who gets the only right answer (think it happened once this round, also a few other rounds). Maybe a bonus half point for the league? Or, better still, a tiebreaker if he draws that round (maybe that's too much, but it gives great incentive to try pick wild answers, great risk, great reward).

I know it throws in a spanner into the smooth works but I'm always thinking of "weight" system to reward someone who went against the grain and actually won. 4 rounds left and cls63 will be hoping for better footing. I don't have an easy opponent (not that anyone was easy).

edit: I was so busy I forgot to remind about Ironman 2023 (which ended yesterday). A couple of weeks ago, I realised it was really tough to put a good question though. I couldn't find good odds markets, and just so little good coverage. The main problem here I guess is prize money. For the biggest endurance event in the world, with huge preparations to qualify, a measly $350k shared between 30 people!

Happens sometimes, I started my journey in Div 2 with 7-7 draw, and was quite pissed about it. RNG will sometimes work in your favor and sometimes against you, not the most fair metric but one that gives some "extra spice" to our competition.

I was toying with the idea to maybe add one more reward in future seasons that will be for the person with most goals scored across all the leagues. In other words for the person that answers correctly most answers. But for that to has any meaning we need to have leagues with same amount of participants.

While I am on participants topic, if you know somebody that is interested to join, they can start signing up. That helps to prepare third season, much easier if we know at least roughly how many people will be playing. Not to mention it is also easier to get bigger rewards and confirmations for futures seasons from our sponsor Sportsbet.

Yeah, they were 12 points up at the beginning of the 4th quarter - in which they scored only 12 points.
This wasn't actually their biggest problem in this tournament, France is a defensive team and conceding close to 90 points against Latvia is something they should not have let happen.

They were my dark horse for the whole tournament, now it seems that only Canada can eventually stop USA.

yeah, France out seems as really big news, their lost to Canada with 30 points difference signaled that something is wrong, and they were almost out from SF with that, but not to reach second group stage is really embarrasing

Finally my first win this season. I'm still last, but it was win against one of my direct opponents, so called 6 points game and I got significantly closer. Didn't expected that I will get point for snooker question after picking O'Sullivan.
Not easy basketball question in next round. It's quite typical thing to predict who will have biggest PPG average, not total points scored, but it's not big difference in general. For this question it's worth waiting almost until deadline to know exactly which teams will play in 2nd round. We already have some big upsets, like France eliminated after 1st round.
