It looks like Trofo and me are competing who is going to make worse result in this round, we both have zero correct answers and we didnt wrote all the same answers  Grin

PSG's just booked their spot in the top bracket, BetBoom was leading it for a long time until today, now it's just left for GG's game, but I'm not sure how the table works. According to Liquipedia, "GD" is on BetBoom's side even if GG gets a 2-0 and ties for the 5-2. Cro2, how would that work? Is there a game difference score or just H2H?
You are actually following DOTA?
I just picked random teams and if I win against DOTA expert lover, it is going to be pure luck.
Maybe one member of Cro2 played some tournaments like this and have insider information.

Is ayone watching tennis?
Alcaraz was almost out from Rinderknech in the first match, but he played much better in second match.
I played for him to get kicked out early, so I hope he loses against Dimitrov.

Fuck man. Thanks Hurzack thorwing all my "analysis" to the bin hahahaha.

And Tsitsipas lost and ended the only hope for Bonta winning q8. Now if Mendveded wins I win, otherwise we draw.
Another shock result, but so far my tennis picks aren't among them.
Meanwhile my opponent is actually one of the few users that picked neither Medvedev, nor Tsitsipas / Sinner, so I'm already at a disadvantage for that question, however,  I still can't back his pick of Hurkacz vs Zverev, Hurkacz, simply because Hurkacz could still face Rublev and Medvedev in the Quarter final and semi finals consecutively, that's quite a huge task to ask of him imo, while Zverev is also likely to face Sinner too, It's going to be tough, so I have to commend him for his predictions too because I don't think they're only just some gutsy picks, but rather some insightful ones. Had he not been my opponent for this week, I really would have wished he would win the round or at the very least that tennis section.

Thanks man for the kind words.

Well i was quite surprised when i see the answer all picking the top seeds only. My picks were based on the surface, because grass its a very strange one, and i look the win percentage of the player on grass and pick my boys, Hurzack i see he was the last champion on Halle so i think he can be good again. Zverev (i dont like his form) its local and have a good % of win on grass.

I think most of tennis players also doesnt train in grass because are only a few tournament and their choose to be better on hard or clay surface.

For example all the players from my country (Argentina), and Spain are speciallist on Clay, and Clay its the most slow one, and grass its the most rapid, so the 100% of tennis players from Argentina its well know are in disadvantage when they play on grass.

But well this its tennis and this boys arent reliable so i dont know if mines are gonna be winner selections.

Aging all this like shit.

Well, heads up and now thinking in the other answers, i go bold on choosing NO in the NBA draft. Lets see how it ended.

Yes Germany miss two penalties....

Hey, looks like you were one of the weirdos picking Belgium not to lose and under 2.5gs, and got today's U21 game right, so it's actually... 2-2 right now, throwing yourself a nice lifeline over there (thank Germany and England for so many wasted chances)Wink I know, I know, huge disadvantage still to climb.

@Igebotz feeling the heat yet? =D

This was really a close one again after there were 3 goals in the first half. I checked the standings in half-time and thought that @ulven will win this one as he went with 5 or more. Didn't even check again during the game, but this reminds me a bit of the Manchester City game when I got lucky and early goals were scored and then nothing happened anymore until the end of the game, which obviously was extremely unlikely. But it is as it is, as long as the goals have not been scored, I guess they have not been scored Tongue

You seem to have experienced a comparable experience during a recent game. Soccer matches may be unpredictable, and early goals can occasionally raise the stakes and build anticipation for more goals throughout the course of the match. After an initial burst of goals, there are cases, as you indicated, where the scoring slows down or even ceases. Because of the nature of the game, this can heighten the tension and unpredictability.
I think you were lucky to choose 4 goals after the Germans missed penalty kicks. That's why we are now tied, waiting for the rest of the results. Grin

Well whatever the result is, its pretty guaranteed that you are going to win this round though especially because my H2H question wont be counted so thats an easy question to get a point from so yeah

Totally cant help it as I had important thing to attend to and by the time Im dont with it, it was already late to submit it so I decided to take a shower to cool my head off as I know Im fucked either way  Tongue

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
Another match is ongoing France v Italy this is in the 5th question, I guess Gnonto to score or Assist, Italy not to lose,YES. But I didn't see this player in the lineup
If Wilfried Gnonto is played in the 2nd round or in the last minutes it's clear that my chances are getting smaller, while my opponent @maamanda answered NO Cheesy

The current score is France 1 - 1 Italy, it's a goal recently scored by Pietro Pellegri for Italy. Amine Gouiri didn't do well in this match, I doubt I can win question 5. Let's hope that Gnonto won't play because Pellegri played very well Cheesy.

England 0-2 and Germany 1-1 so the correct answer is 3-4 goals on question 4. England had 1 goal disallowed and Germany missed 2 penalty. Germany played 45 min with 1 player more. This was badly played by them 😂

congrats jayce on winning already 😁 I have to pull myself together now 😂

Yeah we have 15/16 winners there, one of the participants @bonta guessed 2 or less is this option available? as far as I remember it was not available

Damn, arallmuus... you really didn't have to give such a walkover, would have been 2-1 now and quite a number of different answers so I'm definitely "relieved" for the free pass as it looks at the moment. Still hoping I earn it on merit anyway, would make me feel a hell lot better.

I also had Tsitsipas too, along side Medvedev... Tsitstipas being Tsitsipas yet again eliminated flawlessly in the second round, I really should have stuck to my initial choice of Jannik Sinner or Zverev, they've been more consistent for me than Tsitsipas, I just always decide to learn my mistakes the hard way, don't I ?

Jannik Sinner had to come from being one set down to win the game in good rhythm, I'm sure the amount of players that choose Sinner as one of their  finalist must feel some awkward after he dropped the first set, but he didn't look nervous or phased and still play as though it was an even game. That's  how exactly how to earn people's trust if you ask me.

Elsewhere, Alcaraz is still proving to be a formidable force to be reckoned with in London, he's having a walk in the park against Lehecka here, so imo, he already should be looking forward to who is next opponent would be (I'd say Cerundolo)...

Nobody thought the Belgium team would at least manage a draw.

it is not just that, I had Belgium not to lose, but didn't thought that it will be goalless
expected goals on that match, but they didn't meant to be, probably several others thought the same, and no one with both to score - NO

regarding tennis, De Minaur won against Schwartzmann with ease on grass, and would probably be exactly opposite on clay

Does the field and clay court have any affect on the performance of these tennis players? I saw a write-up like this while doing some research and I was thinking, does it really matter? I mean, if you're exceptional, I expect you to play well on any court, or does the nature of the surface influence ball speed? Could someone please explain the grass and clay courts to me? This is the third time Tsi has screwed me over, and it will be the last time I choose him; he seems inconsistent to me.

Day 2, 3 games, 0 point.

Yep, the surface is extremely important. Clay is more slow, meaning that there's more time to return the ball, meaning that the points are longer and that the possibility of a break is quite more common.
If you take a player that's dominant on the serve, on faster surface he'll be difficult to break - whereas on clay you will have your chances.

Most players are specialists either for hard (faster surfaces) or clay (slower ones). Usually it goes with physique - smaller players tend to be better on clay because they are faster and don't have that much of an advantage on their serve.

Federer for example had almost 10% higher win percentage on hard surfaces than on clay, Nadal has 15% higher on clay than on hard and Đoković is fairly balanced on all surfaces.

Tsitsipas has under 65% win rate on hard, and only 57% on grass. He's mostly a clay player.

Thank you; I didn't know these are vital details to consider before making a prediction. I've been answering tennis questions based on top seed rankings and odd favourites all this time,  I had no idea that the playing surfaces had an impact on how the players performed. Now I understand why I've never gotten them right. Grin

Surprisingly, no one in the league earned a point from the Belgium-Netherlands U-21 match. This is the only time I've ever seen a pool with 100% zero points. Nobody thought the Belgium team would at least manage a draw.

Just couldn't resist looking at spreadsheet in the end because I was sure I got all wrong, luckily, I have 1 green line there but even more lucky my opponent has all wrong so far!

But Wow Belgium guys, just 2 of you picked them AND picked under 2.5 goals. Amazing pick. Now I'm worried about England Germany cause I went for high goals lol.
The one sided matches in paper ended with some goals, even if not by the favorite team. I doubt he will have u2.5 goals in both matches combined, at least in the u20 WC the Israeli games happened to be goal feasts, so my pick of over 5.

I don't understand about tennis but it is not difficult to find answers about your questions easy to find it on Google, the conclusion is for each court/area then it will need a different playing style of course not all players can adjust for example Rafael Nadal, known as the king of clay he has won various tournaments even in 36 years he was still dominant.

Same here day 1, 2 bad for me luckily on day 3 I got it, I was surprised from 50+ participants only 2 users who got points including me and @arallmuus yeah maybe just luck.

Tsitsi on grass, always a bad choice.. Grin

He had good results last season though, but I trust him only on clay. He's not the best on fast surfaces.

Tsitsi may have a playing style or skill set that is suited to clay if he has had success there in the past. It doesn't necessary follow, though, that he can't perform well on swift surfaces. it’s important to keep in mind that players' performances can vary from season to season and depend on various factors, including their form, injuries, and competition.
Fortunately, Tsitsi was among my opponent's choices for this round. Grin
