So you are saying that all questions in BSFL you are going to ask must be from top leagues, championship matches and top events?
I wish you good luck doing that during this summer, you will need it  Grin

Yeah I just remember this, we wont have any major football league for a while until everything start back up so I kinda wonder what will we get each week. Im definitely not good with random sports but I guess that applies to majority of us I guess

Dang if it wasnt because Djokovic was going to play against Alcaraz on Semifinal, I would have picked him  Roll Eyes

Go to first page of thread and check out first 3 posts. First 2 are rules and tables. If you are short on time just check third post and fill out the form.

You missed the deadline so your result in first round will be bad but plenty more of rounds to come.

Yes, I just realized it, at first I thought the competition would start when all the leagues entered the new season but no problem this is my first experience
It wasn't as easy as I thought because I was blind on some of the games I only understand about football/soccer lol
BTW I've filled out the form and in the last question it seems I made a mistake I only choose Uruguay, how to edit it? my answer 1. Uruguay 2 Italy 3 Israel 4 Korea

You can't edit your answers, if this was before the deadline i would edit it in the table for you. Now it doesn't matter since games have already been played and you can't get point for that question. We had to answer it before semi final games. You submitted very late so consider this first round as practice. Probably no chance for you to actually win your game. But plenty of rounds to come so nothing is lost. Be sure to submit next one on time Smiley

Did you guys all watch tennis today?
Alcaraz got injured against Djokovic, if that didnt happen it would be much more interesting match.
I will never learn to love tennis, but its great for me when I need to sleep.  Wink
Of course I watched tennis. Can't believe Alcaraz did not forfeit this one, he really had no chance after the cramp. Too bad, that incident robbed us of potential match of the year performance.

This Delija guy looks like Brighton at best, and from what I've seen he's fighting against a 'Middlesbrough'.

As for Brighton, if I remember correctly we had that team in our BSFL questions many times.

The other half of the question is already wrong because Sabalenka lost to Muchova in the semi final game yesterday.
Another reason why am not a fan of women's tennis,  too many surprises and it was too good to be true that seed 1 and seed 2 would face each other here...

Anyway off to catch the Djokovic vs Alcaraz that starts in a few minutes...

I do like to see the girls play,  although I should have thought about that when you mention the variance/surprises. I managed to place a girl in the final. Muchova escaped me, who in the results had more favoritism than Haddad, who by the way of what you mention was fighting to put the game 1:1 with a very good tiebreak fight.

On the boys' side, I am in the answer correct, all that remains is for Djokovic to secure 23 GS.

How to know my division ?
Hi, Danydee Div3a.
It is good to say that in the league you have to keep an " eye " on post #2, really on all of them, but it is the post to alertness.

You're welcome, it's a fun place to be.

This is for sure is an upset according to bookies and the seedings, but the scores and score line suggest completely otherwise, Alcaraz was completely neutralize, I mean losing 6-3, 6-1, 6-1 from just for 4 sets of play is way short of the expectations of the match, especially if Djokovic is to be returned as the winner of the match up, he showed us how much of a veteran he still is, can either Rude vs Zverev stop him now, I guess not!

Just when I thought Djokovic should retire,.Although he has failed me multiple times when I needed him the most, I believe he is still totally active in the game. Not a horrible outcome for you, Slokovic.

Anyways, i support Djocovik in his race to be the best tennis of all times, so not so sad.

wasn't thought that Alcaraz is gonna end-up injured, but overall thought that Djokovic will win it, and on @2.9 before match, it was a value bet
but Ruud is also playing great tennis, has a RG final experience, and that could prove a much tougher task for Djokovic than this SF

no odds for final yet, at least on my bookies, but anything above 2.5 on Ruud, I will take without a doubt as value bet (not saying he is going to win, but IMO odds should be close to 1.8 Djokovic, 2.0 Ruud)

Imagine your opponent pick the finalist bad because they were in the same side of the draft and the number one got injured and you are not gonna ended winning a point and your opponent in a bad take yes.

Damn it! I see that I have put Đoković and Alcaraz to fight in the finals in the Q9.
I found this odd when I last checked because these two were on the same branch and were never going to meet in the final, but sh*t happens. But for you  to survive this one is if Djokovic comes up with an upset using some old tricks that come with experience of the game as his still rusty but still a threat.

Indeed but Djokovic's performance was outstanding. I went for Alcaraz on this one and a lot of others did as well, but even when you neglect the physical issue of Alcaraz, I asked myself after seeing Djokovic playing for a while in this game why I didn't choose him. He is still the dominating force in tennis no matter what the surface is. No idea how many of you watched the game, but this was clearly a game that showed how important Djokovic's experience is and how he knows to make use of it. He has his mind under full control from the first till the last game. Respect for that and he quickly realized that Alcaraz won't give up on a single point even when Djokovic sends him from corner to corner all the time. Most players get tired and start making mistakes themselves, but Djokovic didn't. He is in top shape and after that game I have no clue who should stop him in Paris. That is a mission impossible.

Annnnnd down goes Alcaraz, wowsers. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Meh, that finished much faster than anyone thought, I expected so much more from the so called "match of the season".

I did think that Djokovic will win this even if Alcaraz was healthy, but I just hope that Alcaraz is not injured and those were just cramps.

Yeah, hopefully he's alright, but gotta always expect the unexpected it is sports after all right. Grin Grin

Isn't it odd? I know that whenever there is a question about probable final match-ups in tennis, I check that ultimatetennis website that Trofo once gave us. I don't know who f*cked up, but I am 100% sure that they should have never met until the final game. But you never know... All of those questions are only our predictions.
It is very simple, RG gives slots on ranking and that means Alcaraz got first seed and Djoko 3rd which means same side of the draw. Wimbledon usually adjusts seeds by their prowess on grass which can be a better call if done properly.

2nd seed was Medvedev and he lost in round 1 which made botom half look really week.

Oh man you dont follow MMA that is your problem Sad
Did you hear about Mirko CroCop? Everybody knows about him.
Well Delija is part of his CroCop team and he is planned to be one of the next opponents for ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, one of the best heavyweight MMA fighters in the world.
I am not saying we should answer simple question who should win in this fight, but more statistical questions.
This is not huge fight for title, but he is one of the top MMA heavyweight fighters in the world right now.

Nope, I don't - that's exactly why we ask for help regarding the questions about it.

Imagine it like this - for an MMA event to be in the questions, it has to be something most people are at least familiar with.
In football terms it cannot be a usual Premier League 'Man City - Liverpool' game, it has to be either a cup final, CL final, something of huge importance.
This Delija guy looks like Brighton at best, and from what I've seen he's fighting against a 'Middlesbrough'.

I too am from Croatia and have never heard of Delija, but of course that everyone in Croatia knows about Mirko CroCop Grin But I don't follow MMA so it's no wonder I haven't heard about him. When I saw his last name, I thought he was from Serbia. Probably because fans of the football club Crvena Zvezda are called "delije" so it reminded me of them. I don't have anything against that question for the next week, but I'm sure that Cro2 team will decide what's best.
