My situation is only going from bad to worse, as I thought i'd get my first point from the CL qualifier, but Klaksvik says no. 
Almost everything is going against my predictions, and now I have to hope that the last three questions somehow hit. If I lose any of those three, then i'll be getting my second loss.

This was indeed a round for me where something unexpected happened and I was not able to do my research at all. I wasn't sure whether I could submit in time. So don't interpret my submission at 7/18/2023 18:59:40 as the result of extensive research Quite the opposite. I literally had to hammer my CS GO picks into the keyboard and I didn't even know whether that was the right tournament. Turns out it wasn't, but ok, a good opportunity for Trofo to win some easy points when he probably expected this one to be a close one

Very very strange to see a team like Ferencvaros losing at this stage of Pre Champions League and against this low level team, man a team from FAROE ISLANDS, they are not a country.

Of all the teams in question I never imagined it being Ferencvaros to be the team decide the fate of the question, I'm sure whoever set the question, be it Trofo or Cryptofrka wouldn't have either, I saw there were a couple of tough fixture but most of them have an advantage from the first leg that's why I went with Yes.
And elsewhere; in CSGO Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) seeing out Vitaly in just 2 maps is another huge blow for me today, but I'm alright with that, since it's a majority pick alongside my opponent.

I just checked the results and it doesn't look good form me in the second question. casperBGD said that all favorites will win and I said they won't. I hope that one of three games that are scheduled for today will go my way... I need this win to get back on the winning track 
I believe your goal is close to being achieved because Frencvaros is now trailing by three goals. I also thought they wouldn't do it, lol. It will become 2-0 because my opponent, ralle14, also went with "yes."
Honestly, the golf question is the hardest for me. I randomly chose an answer, and I don't know if luck is on my side. I need to win this round, or else the pressure will increase.

there is that H2H momentum, two rounds ago I scored 5, and most people were 4 or less, but I had to play Igebotz that only scored 6 and got free-bet along with a win
but that is what makes it interesting
agree that there is a lot of luck here, but would not say that it is only luck, one has to know what to put, no luck will pull you up if you put Nepal to pass cricket group, as some had in spreadsheet

Momentum I think is truly important. I noticed a couple of those who submitted late answers were on losing streaks, not so good for confidence and I'm sure 100% contributed to them forgetting!!

Regarding the deadlines - yep, we spoke about giving you reminders this season as well because we had a lot of new players joining.
From next season it's almost certain there will be no reminders and that every late submission will be an automatic loss that will carry an additional -1 point penalty.
We really don't want to put too many rules and pressure you - but trying to navigate situations in which we constantly have to check which questions to accept and which not kinda creates a possibility of us making unfair decisions.
As hard as it seems at first, the most fair is a rule where it's all the same for everybody - no matter how strict the rule might seem.
