congrats on progress to quarter-final, did not watch the match, it is commuting home time, but from what I could see and hear, it was a tide match, where Croatia was just enough better to feel that pass through is deserved

did not know about that statistics, but can recall watching penalty series with Denmark from last championship

As Trofo said, only 1 of our knockout games since 1998 World Cup didn't go into extra time. I hope we manage to keep this crazy statistics in our next game as well Grin

I had us to win in regular time, for increased stakes - so could have gone better for me betting-wise. But the only important thing is that we are through.

Well, you should never play on Croatia to win in regular time when knockout stages begin. We went to extra time in 8 out of 9 such matches. I don't think anybody else has that kind of stats. Only one that wasn't ET or penalties was our loss to France in the final last time around.

I cashed in on both to score and very "secure" Croatia not to loose, so happy day for me. If only Brazil - Korea ends with both to score as well...money, money,money.

I'm definitely losing this one, I think, Woodie got a fantastic headstart, and I looked very quickly, need to get the goal count right and Ronaldo to score to get back on level terms but if he gets Spain lineup right, I'm out. He went for a full European progress too -- and I need 2 to crash out, and I thought England would be one. Japan and Morocco have to save me (yeah right).

I was already scared I'd potentially be facing Buwaytress, at least that's if I make past this stage with another tough guy LTU_btc from almost every pool I've participated in so far, we've got 6 question left and we have to answer in common, I just need two more of the four questions we shared different perspectives about to go my way then, then I'll be through to the next stage, the most likely being the Croatians to dominate Japan, and the round of 16 having more than 22 goals.

You are correct, table is already updated and it seems that there is a lot of close pairings here and I expect we will need a tie breaker or two to settle all the games. Did not watch most of the games today since I had some obligations but from what i have seen, favorites really did not leave anything to chance.

Seems nobody wants the rewards since I only got a couple of PMs with BTC addresses so far, I know there is still a lot of time but better to take care of it sooner than later.

This reminded me to check how I stand versus my opponent inthelongrun and he already has a head start. I hope I get both a swers correct as we both answered differently (even the England domination question which is 50-50). I guess after today he will be two or three points in front of me or I'll take over the lead. May the best (or luckiest) man win!

do not get me wrong, I do not think that someone here is forum elite, or everywhere for the matter (not sure how do you qualify elite, but I am striving to horizontal organizations whenever possible, without much elite and hierarchy)

but, as I said, IMO, all questions are properly worded to be easy to understand, and could be answered without a doubt (with all said, I missee both answers, so maybe I understood it wrong

)

and it is a good advice to improve English, I am trying to do that daily
