Hi All,

I am new to mining and have a few rigs. I just bought a couple of Saphhire Pulse with 6pin power connector RX560 4GB. In the initial use of the card was out of the box 11.xx MH/s and changed the bios by copying 1750 - > 1825 and 2000 and set max memory speed to 2200 all other untouched. This has gone up to 15.6 MH/s with power at about 45 - 50 watts. Already running for 12 hours and temp at 64 - 67c with 60% fan speed This is the bios maybe you can download to test. Also using Claymore miner 9.4.

This link will not be here forever maybe max will be here for 2-3 days. Hope this will help you out.

It was only the wind.
@doktor83

The bios Voltage modifications (vddc) work correctly on Windows 7.  But when using the same cards on Windows 10, there is a big mismatch between the bios voltage (831mv) and the gpu-z reading (990mv).

Is there any other way to setup the bios voltage so that it works in Windows 10 (and linux) ?

Only the proper way.

okay?

Meaning VoltageObjectInfo, with an offset.

Hex editing? Just like the hawaii and grenada?  I did tons of that on my 290x back in the day.

Anything different 290x > 570  I should know about?   I'm reading I can only alter the offset...

Besides the load of different controllers, you'll need to (often) insert the info you need. This means, fix the length of the voltage object, fix the length of the VoltageObjectInfo table, then fix the offsets of ALL the tables after it (because they will have changed), and then you need to go to the padding between the legacy VBIOS & the UEFI one, and remove enough such that the VBIOS image remains the same size. Oh, yeah, and fix the checksum. Have fun!

noob question - if i flash the bios and because it says unknown card, and the GPU and MEM frequencies are not showing a value and I update the bios and then flash it, will it brick my card?

When card is displayed as unknown, you still can edit everything that is not disabled, save the bios and flash it.
It shouldn't brick your card because the values that were not detected aren't touched/changed in bios at all.

Thanks for that Smiley
YOu could also send me your original bios, and will add support for it Wink

I sent you 2 PM's one with the XFX 560 bios and one for a Powercolor 560 bios that both come up as unknown card

note - not sure if you are getting my PM's - it shows me as a NOOB still Sad

It was only the wind.
Hello Doktor83, im trying to lower the voltage on XFX 470 4GB with NCP81022 VRM, but whatever i do, the voltage is not actualy afected. It only moves little down if i set low core freq, but not as low as i want.
Im doing this steps:

With Sapphire trixx i see  my cards works stable at 0.88volts 1150 core, so i trying make this settings permanent in bios with SRBPolaris V2.62, and as result the default core and memory frequency are changed, but core voltage is not.

I`m i doing something wrong or maybe i miss somethig or the card is not supported?
For reference here are my original bios:
http://www.filedropper.com/xfx470elpida4

This is because it has no init regulator object in its VoltageObjectInfo table - and he said he doesn't plan to add support for inserting offsets, so god knows he wouldn't support inserting entire voltage objects.

And what then is timing used at the native memory frequency of 7000? 1500 timing?

There are no timings 1625 ... 2000 there

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/190790/190790

Check the bios internals part.

1500.
Since it is MT51J256M32HF_1_35V and not MT51J256M32HF I am not sure if it will ever work at 1750.
