It's not that surprising that the game ended in 1-1, especially when Newcastle took the 1-0 lead. Too bad it didn't stay 1-0. United's chance of becoming champions is about 2% I think. Odds should be then 1/50

By the way as far as I know to qualify for the rain at least you make a $1000 wager in a week.

The wager requirements are standard for the last few months, it was $2k per week but now the overall wager has to be over $3k in the last 7 days. The active chatting session and betting at the same time increase the chances of getting rain. Being eligible doesn't mean users will get rain due to increased traffic, more online users, lots of bots, etc.

It is the same 'problem' on all sites with these kind of raffles. All sites have high rollers that claim up to 30-50% of all tickets and all sites allow that one person can win multiple prizes. As a small player, your chances to win something in the raffle are extremely low but if you are lucky, you can still win a prize (even the top prize).

It's really weird that the frontend displays 1.13, but it's likely just a rendering bug. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense for Stake to try to cheat over $2 bets. Do you happen to remember what multiplier you were going for at the time?

I do believe that Stake had changed the requirements because people were constantly begging for rains, and in a way it was good because it kept serious player’s on the chat who deserve the rains because they actually wager on the site.

Furthermore winning rain is all about luck and investing some time being active in the chat, but if your replies are fake you’ll definitely not receive any rains, hence only chat if you have something meaningful to add and not for receiving rain purposes only.

The winner of the raffle had 300000 tickets, and I think the total of tickets was short below 4 million, so he held like 8% of the tickets, not 40-50% Wink

And he won several times on the 10k prices, not only once.

But yes, I also think every player should be drawn once only. Of course they earned their tickets fair and square but because of having so many tickets they also have a much higher chance of winning. Winning once is enough to have a least a fair chance for all contestants.
Fun fact, some guy with 50000 tickets didn't win once.

AFAIK, there is a $3k wager requirement during last 7 days in order to eligible for the rain. Beside that you need to stay active (send messages) in chat. But the rainbot choose random players. So, the possibility of getting rain is really low (unless you are lucky enough).

These big type of stuff are very important to all of crypto world. Not because it is just a huge amount, that's definitely a great thing but the reality is that we are talking about something that is also rare in the crypto world and can attract people from the fiat world as well.
