Yes I believe it is because the increasing number of Platinum users is beyond their expectation.
On the other side, they have limited number of VIP host while it is not easy to hire people that can be trusted and educated to be VIP host.
I got VIP host when I was ranked up to Platinum 1 few years back and I still have it till now, so lucky me to start earlier

If the number of Platinum users (1-5) is increased significantly but Stake is unable to add more VIP hosts, the requirement might be increased again as what Mahdikarib said.

That can also happen not because of KYC related matters but because a user has done a thing that are not stated in the rules which resulted for their accounts to put on hold and the owner of the casinos has the right to ban the account or to confiscate the funds if proven to be guilty of doing abusive acts.

I have played on stake casino and they do not ask me to do a forced KYC but there are options to manually verify your KYC. This has benefits that it can give you extra bonus if you are participating on the promotions on their forum. Posting complaints here does not scratch the reputation of this casino because they are already legendary and have good records.

Nobody is stopping him from showing proofs. That's not the point.
However, RapTarX was right to suggest he post new topic in the Scam Accusations section of the forum. That is the community standard and the right thing to do (given that he has valid evidence). As a result, his claims would have even more visibility, and would be more useful for other members of the forum if he adhered to the established standard.

My first time playing on stake, I don't even know about a weekly claim, rank up reward from zero to silver/gold and some support guys dm me and remind about the unclaimed reward. Geez, I missed a lot claim weekly and monthly because don't really know.

The lucky things, If you missed the rank up reward still can be claimed but for weekly/monthly missed claim you can't claim if already passed the month.

Yeah, it is! Stake team has announced about it in their telegram channel. Stake made the first change when I was near to platinum one rank, same thing happened when I was near to platinum two rank. Now I'm on the way to platinum three rank. I always missed the opportunity to get the VIP host for those changes. Don't know how to react on these sudden changes of Stake VIP host system. Probably I'm not going to get the VIP host at Stake in the near future.

It seems that he is not yet a player in Stake so he can have such thought/opinion. The only possible case is that players miss the email because they forget to claim it then once they remember it, it is already expired although I'm not sure how long the link will be active to be claimed since Stake sent it to players. Even if this case is happened, I think Stake will give players new link or reward it manually especially if the players are active players.

The link claim is always same one for all, so you claimed a linked claim same like everyone. Most people always talk about pre-monthly/monthly everytime they already out.

That is how I know it worked as well but I got confused about it for a while when people assumed they could get it somewhere else. It is only from the email you get and if you miss the email or mistakenly delete it or something then it is fully gone and you can't get it. That sounds a bit harsh considering it should be something you could get from the website and one mistake of email deleting shouldn't result with a loss but the amount is not a huge one so I doubt people really care about it.

I mean obviously we would want it, but if you delete or lose it then it wouldn't be life changing amount, plus we would just gamble with it anyway.

Stunna is also replying on that thread, it is being said that the matches he bet is under investigation.
It is obviously inconvenience for the player because his balance is on hold until the investigation is done.
I have never received any issue in Stake but I have to say that I'm not a big player like him and I'm not playing sports too much.
I hope the issue will be resolved soon with the best solution for both parties.
