You are right that there is no open thread in the gambling discussion about the presidential election in united states of America. But there should have a thread for that. Though it needed now I think it is not necessary as its almost over.

Obviously unless something major changes we will see Biden win for sure, but that doesn't mean that sportsbooks will start to pay up right away but knowing that you won is a big part of the deal. I love the double IPL playoffs promotion as Mumbai Indians easily made 200 runs and won and I was certain that it was going to happen and it did happen which made me win double, I wish this promotion was done earlier as I could have won a lot of money .

Plus, no matter how many times you count the ballots again and again, you are not closing that gap, which means either he wins with the late arrival ballots becoming in favor of him in one state, or he loses, there is no path to victory on the finished states. In any case, the real trouble begins when everything is settled and Trump goes to supreme court, dude literally appointed his own puppets there and even if it is something illegal thing to do, when supreme courts deems it legal, they could do anything that would help them win.

To be perfectly honest with you I do not think that there could be any type of changes by the looks of it. I get that official results needs to come but I have no idea what the legal path to be taken here that could change anything. So, yeah we technically do not have the results yet but I do not see any way that could lead Trump to victory. It is either going to be 270-268 Biden victory or even a bigger margin Biden victory.

It will be either easily known today/tomorrow or it will be about 2-3 weeks to get the "official" results.

 Obviously when the results are not yet official and nobody gets the presidency for sure, sportsbooks can't be giving you your money just yet, it is really not that smart to credit gamblers with something that has unofficial results just yet, what happens if court rules that Trump won and changes Arizona to him? If Biden gets a total of 270 electoral votes. The current votes are 264 for Biden and 214 for Trump but having that said, Trump is likely to ask for recount for certain states.
