There is no point in comparing eth and BTC, these two coins have the same role and have different values. BTC still has high value and will continue to lead in crypto, BTC, and eth always enter the market with their respective values.
This subject is kind of familiar with all of members, I think so. Because many people keep continually make comparison between two coins. Honestly all we did worth nothing, because obviously two coins completely different. While bitcoin is considered as the leader of the whole market, and evidently when it comes to cryptocurrency, always bitcoin is mentioned as a fundamental coin, for example, it is proactively used to pay commodities or services or that sorts of things in some countries or big business which accepted cryptocurrency. Although ethereum is appreciate with high technology, bitcoin still keeps its reputation on the whole market and sometimes ethereum price fluctuation depends on bitcoin price. Yep bitcoin and ethereum are both on top potential coins and absolutely we can reap fruits from both, and one thing we can’t deny that bitcoin price is higher than ethereum. Thus we’d better stop comparing these two coins.
The two are both different and have different value with different functions, and comparing them is way too far as BTC still lead them all while eth has it own stage to lead in smart contract and I don't think eth will ever lead btc .
A great idea that will still be ignored, because so many people will compare these projects anyway, because these projects today are the leaders of the cryptocurrency sphere and it is they that make people want to invest in them.
I think BTC is king, ETH is queen. People use ETH much because it deals faster than BTC. No coin can overtake BTC, I'm sure for that.

People always compaire ETH with BTC telling us that ETH is the best cryptocurrency. I really doubt that because looking at these two coins, although they are all blockchain based currencies but to me BTC is doing far better than ETH. BTC was created before ETH but look at the performances and judge it yourself. I really do not want to talk much about this issue. Guys what do think about what I am arguing about?

Yeah many people used to compare the Bitcoin and ETH. But they just comment on the price change not on the technology behind it. Everyone have just interest in which coin will gives the more return.

i do not think that it can be such a comparison because both have different places and different roles i think that bitcoinis better because of olderity i can say i believe in it more.
I never compare ETH with BTC. Completely different coins. In BTC, I am sure that it will exist for a long time,and ETH is a short-lived coin, there are new good platforms that make ETH a competition.

It is obvious that Bitcoin is doing far better than any other altcoin, not only than Ethereum. Bitcoin is the oldest cryptocurrency and the most successful one, and it have the biggest community, and the highest price.
But people which haven't usually a good experience with cryptocurrencies compare sometimes BTC with ETH, because ETH is considered nowadays as the first altcoin, and it have also a very promising potential.
Last year, some were thinking of the possibility of ETH overtaking BTC because of the functionality and usefulness of ETH in ICOs. But, this year when the market is on a downfall direction, ICOs also in that direction resulting to the fall of ETH in its price. So, ETH will not catch up with BTC.

Your argument is rational with the current market situation. BTC is the power of crypto, but without forgetting the competition of 2 coins, it has its own uniqueness and advantages. what is clear is that we have to support whatever it is without having to compare it with other coins Jump to:
