The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die
Those bailing out now have no idea that this actually is the NEXT Bitcoin with more use than trading on an exchange and some use with merchant products, this is world-wide corporate business applications, that Bitcoin has FAILED in entering.

What Satoshi is to Bitcoin,  Trew/Dorier is to Stratis/NBitcoin

1$?? you think too small , more like goodbye moon! Bitcoin going out of our galaxy Smiley

You have always daytraders. They don't care about the long run...they care about the profit today.

I laughed so hard at the guys who dumped nearly 2 million coins today starting right after the interview. and now price still above 6k... it's great for redistribution by the way.

Didn't say anything about Stratis. Asked about NBitcoin.

NBitcoin is its own chain in C#, once NBitcoin is developed, it will be forked to Stratis Full Node in C#

There's no reason why a C# node can't use the same blockchain as a node coded in C++.

Sure if you setup the wallet like WDC did allowing multiple coins in the same wallet.

I thought you were saying if Stratis is using the SAME BC as Bitcoin, not using Bitcoin's BC as well in the node.

EDIT:

It's like ETH that allows you to choose which chain you want to be on.

So that's up to Stratis team whether they want to incorporate both chains in the same node

Does NBitcoin have its own blockchain or is it just a .Net port that works on the Bitcoin blockchain?

From the interview, my understanding it is its own chain completely independent of bitcoin in C#, whereas bitcoin is cpp, therefore it has to be its own blockchain.

Furthermore, @krushang, chris, dorier, are you guys addressing the block scaling factor that the bitcoin devs are still dealling with? maybe in NBitcoin/stratis full node, you can have this issue resolved prior to releasing the new full node before it becomes a similar issue with the 1MB block sizes that bitcoin has.

EDIT:

Otherwise you're looking at another fork down the road, unless you are waiting to see how the current bitcoin devs handle the issue and then incorporate into NBitcoin/Stratis?

P/D or is this coin actually going places?

It's a coin that's going places that some unrelated traders will try to pump and dump on its way up. =)

This project, the concepts, questions etc should be brought up at the next convention regarding the scaling of bitcoin >

The only guaranteed winners are those who buy now and hold long. Swings are for day traders, not investors.

Another point in question, since C# is the dominant language of business computing. Will NBitcoin possibly become the mainstream network for bitcoin?

Could the old bitcoin core possibly become obsolete or still co-exist? Cause technically NBitcoin isn't a fork of bitcoin it's a whole new code in a completely different language putting it in a league of it's own.

Being that more business would adopt this technology they would also have to choose whether they'd want to still accept use of the the original bitcoin, which if not this'll force the populous to convert over

After watching the youtube interview the project goal is:

NBitcoin (C# Bitcoin Node (blockchain)) -> Forked to Stratis Full Node (C#, stratis blockchain)

Impressive development and approach to business platform applications, incorporating both technologies, and giving bitcoin's blockchain more incorporation into the business world computing Smiley

They truly are filling in the gap of the missing link between bitcoin tech and corporate business applications!

Furthermore, granted Microsoft isn't behind the project atm , is because chris said it's not a priority at this point with Azure, but they will seek microsoft's backing when the project is ready for it.

Furthermore, microsoft has actually developed open source .net framework for application development, this is huge for bitcoin/stratis!

Queston is, why after this interview, such a dump? Did ppl not understand what they discussed?

Just speculators selling the news and taking profits, the price will fluctuate like all coins that are traded daily. People investing long term don't need to bother with this. I personally checked the interview and it was very clear, Chris did a very good job answering some very incisive questions (props to cryptomarket "oracles" too Smiley. Anything below 10-20k for me it's a very cheap and fair price for your investment. Every investment has a risk, so don't expect the price to be at 40-50-100k now, the project needs a lot of development and marketing to get there but they have a good plan and they are working on it.

Plus, comparing this to the Waves interview (which was cringeworthy to say the least) is clear that Chris and Nicolas are very passionate, honest and hard working people. Everyone wants a lambo now but Ethereum is currently valued below $12, ICO investors took a big risk for months and even years, that's how it works, Ethereum is now an established product/service but it wasn't back then, all work was ahead of them.

Plus, Stratis ICO investors can sell theirs right now if they don't believe in the project and will get a 7x profit...so I would say everything's going according to plan. Keep up the good work!

People are too focused on missing the pump since ICO and will just continue to miss it as days go on and they lose their sanity over entry prices.

Who cares? I'm filling my bags after that Unity Framework Stratis library announcement. Dump it folks; need some buying ops.

i guess best time to invest in STRATIS rather than waiting as the price is pretty cheap and its on full POS.

Personally, I think it's trading at a premium. So let's get some dumps going.
