Fedex is a genuine rip-off, and they can't get the packages here without calling... I almost always get the infamous "Held for pickup" E-mail from them, and a 50 mile RT ensues...they suck. IMHO

UPS can get a package here from Sweden within 48 hours, but FedEx cant get one here to Hawaii from California within 4 days even though I paid for "overnight"....and they are closed on Saturday & Sunday here as well.... Totally substandard & overpriced.

Thats actually a good idea...turn the case top upside down... you could easily match the holes...etc... and get it close enough to plug in the data ribbon...

Would be interesting to see what the chips do with water cooling. The nice thing about water is it has a high heat capacity so it takes a lot of heating or cooling to change the temp more than a degree. It is kinda sad. The miner sub forums at one time were a place to experiment, today it if you deleted every post which deals with return on investment it would be a ghost town. I wouldn't do anything today. The "daily value" of a new rig is still too high. The downtime and potential for problems are more expensive when the revenue rate is this high. In time difficulty will go up and what a rig makes per day will go down and then it will make more sense to experiment again (you have less to lose).

But it's just crossed my mind now how incredibly short-sighted it was for KNC not to have modules in stock and put them up for sale immediately after the last October order went out the door.

I played it safe and pre-ordered a Mercury because I wasn't 100% convinced that this wasn't just an elaborate scam, lol. And $2000 was all that I was willing to risk. But the minute they started shipping, I began salivating and waiting for modules to go on sale. I bet there were a lot of other people who did the same as me.

And isn't a major reason for selling the Jupiter (and Mercury) is that they are expandable as well as being more affordable for the casual miner?!

Most likely I would have ordered 3 modules (instead of the 2 that I ordered today) for my Mercury if I could have had a couple more weeks of hashing time. In fact, while I was waiting for KNC modules to go on sale, I bought 6 more Bitfury H boards instead because I had some Bitcoins burning a hole in my pocket.

So this was a HUGE missed opportunity for KNC to make their customers happy and add to their bottom line.

The only difference I can tell is that this one is designated for "continuous operation". Which I think means that it has a more durable fan.
