Narrowed it down to two lawyers in Sweeden

Magnus Daar of Nova
or
Joakim Strignert

any thoughts on these guys or any other proposals ?

I'm with Joakim,

He seems very responsive to questions and is moving forward at a rapid rate, he has already sent a formal letter to KNC and preparing a case as we speak.

I contacted Magnus and got back a copy and paste response and he never answered my follow up questions.

Check them out for yourself and see what you think.

Typical endless gibberish....

ball-less, brainless, clueless & worthless..... who won't STFU

Just what the crypto community is lacking

Its even worse than that he skyped me a few months ago to to chat and I warned him not to go with KNC, due to the fact they fucked ppl over on the Neptune and mostly due to thier DATORHALL.

Of course he ignored (he really likes to hear himself talk i guess) me kept yapping on how he could expense this tax this tax that  dude no one cares if you a legal or iliegal miner keep that stuff to your self jebus.

Now of course whith this latest KNC fail we will have to hear his bitching for the next six months even though he was FOREWARNED.

Well I decided to try and test p2pool with my KNC Titan.

Not surprised to see it fail horribly.

10 sec share is like fast coins and the Titan flushwork issue just causes constant rejects and "Dead on arrival" shares.

32 found shares 25 DOA

I have setup p2pool for bitcoin and has worked well so I don't think my setup of the litecoin node is the issue.

Thanks for posting that. I was thinking about setting up p2pool for my Titan, guess I won't bother.

It seems that the only thing worse than waiting over 7 months and counting for your $10000+ Titan to ship (promised Q2/Q3)  is waiting for KNC to return your RMA'd cubes.

Clueless!

My Miners are turning up today apparently. I'm refusing them. KNC did threaten to destroy them if I didn't accept the shipment but they have backed down and are now saying they will accept them back but I will have to pay for shipping if I want them. Yeah right.

I've been contacting some big media outlets and there are a couple writing articles about this KNC fiasco. I have been contacted by another major name today. They are looking for info on anyone starting a lawsuit against KNC, so if you are and would like a chance to feature in the article please PM me as soon as possible so I can email the journalist.

I'll be writing to more news outlets this week. Lets see how easy it is to raise 50mil when investors read the crap KNC have been up to.

BTW I contacted GP Bullhound and Creandum about 2 weeks ago but have received no reply. I don't think they give a shit. They might change their tune when the BBC come sniffing around though.

don't have the balls to refuse shipment..and being a legal miner in the usa (got backed into such had to file with IRS after bank error on a wire xfer they said was 90k was 10.3k
fixed in a day but had to show chops i was legit thus the legal miner i am now)

anyway the only thing I can be sure of IF I ACCEPT THE TITAN is that I can ...according to my CPA get it wrote off in 5 years as computer equipment according to the IRS
2013 guidelines for virtual currency...did not have to pay the 4k on taxes in 2013 for coin mined last year and likely won't this year either ..)

so anyway again the only thing I CAN maybe count on is the fact I can take this $10,131.80 ...perhaps total loss by the time I get it and get $2532.95 of that back applied
to real $$ to real taxes owed....so a $7598.85 loss..maybe half that if i can get the kludge miner in time and half assed working...is better the taking a chance (like BFL did) and
send it back never to be heard from again

just saying ..it an't much of a hook but $7593.85 loss vs a $10,131.80 loss is somewhat soothing

then again even if i get it I'm gonna jump thru every hoop/class action/swedish gov't/swedish consumer group out there to try and get the rest back

but seeings how by some esitmates KNC has made 200 million since last april 2013 from its inception this could be a very very very long legal battle

KNC has class A and Class B big time investment money for their arcitc cloud sca...er I mean 'edeavor' they can't afford to give us anything in the way of compensation
or fixes ..imagine how it would look ..so they will pooh pooh this for a long time imho

whole thing pisses me off not so much in that I got scammed ...more the fact they were a legit company and I got 'backstabbed" so to speak ..,not sure about you
guys but I was utterly 'blindsided'......at the very least I expected compensation like int he past for delays and or equip issues ......I guess when you say NO REFUND
it means we wash your hands of all responsibility as a decent business at that point...and imho they are gonna dump the Titan in 3 weeks and run to arctic mining..
no way as they have backpeddled are they gonna sell equipment again to consumers...that boat has sailed...and who the f*ck would buy after a minimal google search
or such say in 2015

anyway my plan...as a plan it sucks ..but you go with the hand you are dealt...I am not too keen on (1) bankers and (2) asic equip mnfg companies

as to GAW (see my sig) not sure about them either people are making money or floating with it ..so still have the sig...but be wary of EVERYBODY is my new rule
with the possible exception of www.coinbase.com at these btc prices

anyway...hopefully some decent legit press on KNC's antics will turn some of this around 'knock wood'

You spend close to $10,000 on a titan, neptune, or some other random shit that doesn't work - try this math:

Ticket from NYC to Stockholm = $774
A couple of beers to build up courage = $20
Bust up some KnC losers = priceless

Hi,

the delivery Term 8.1 from KnC means that they can delivery, if they want, in 2016 or 2020. Means also that they can do what they want.

These Term is absolutley ilegal and a frauding permission for themselfs. This term don't exist nowhere in the world! If you go to the court, they will voiding it immediately.

I can recommend all buyers only to judicial injunction in sweden and also to make a complaint for fraud.

KNC claim Titan RMAs take a long time because their RMA department is busy and in the same breath claim the RMA rate for Titans is very low.

Apparently KNC is refusing to pay return shipping costs for RMA processing unless the product is DOA.

http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/off-topic/miners-cafe/65633-anybody-else-have-to-pay-to-rma-their-cubes-back

Is this a new policy or are they re-writing the rules because they are now planning to ship all the remaining batch 1 Titan machines in the next 3 weeks and expect high numbers of RMA claims ? How will people with the 'creeping cube degradation' problem (cubes work for a week or more and then slowly go bad) be affected ?

I know one with a DOA Jupiter board back in September '13.
They made him pay for shipping it back, too, even if he was pointing out that they have to pay for it.

I paid too for a frankencrap controller rma.  I ended up buying another one to get it faster and told kurt that. Could have picked it up when the other one was dropped off, not interested.

Are you guys suggesting refusing the shipment of Titans will result in refunds?

Or did you fight for them to agree to that?

No. I've got a lawyer involved. He told me to refuse delivery. He has sent a letter requesting a refund so the balls in KNCs court. Either they pay or I take them to court. Either way they can keep that piece of crap they call a "Titan"

I just want to point out again: Write to the investors and to the US-company which led the last investment deal. Make copies to the SEC. Send copies to US media. Send the US company tweets. Once the investors get nervous or the investos are confronted with the authorities, I am sure that KnC will pay refunds.
Yup. I'm pretty much doing this from the EU side. I've contacted the investors and media outlets and will be spending the rest of the week contacting anyone who will listen.
