But I really just asked for a status update coz we hadn't heard from them since the end of May.
They were also the ones who contacted us originally, not the other way around.

Got a reply 10 minutes ago.
Things are moving forward.
It seems KnC is indeed rather hectic at the moment, as one would expect, but still within their recent time frame update.

They have published at least two status updates since May, so I don't know what you are going on about there.

one question
if u choose hosting u don't pay shipping, electricity and VAT
(u will pay VAT when u decide to import hw in ur country, right?)

If the goods are not exported, local VAT apply.

There will be an option to use the shipping payment towards hosting fees when we start taking payments for hosting closer to the shipment start.

Orders that are expected to be shipped a certain week will also be ready for hosting that week.

Also do you expect hosting to be operational at the same time of the original shipments in September?

I asked them about user documentation just a little while ago. They have indicated it will be available later this summer.

Keep in mind that you will supply the PSU - this is the most likely part to cause issues. If you put a cheap one in your rig and it fries the rest of your hardware or causes a short - then don't blame KnC, you caused the problem yourself.
