as long as I got a miner and it is keep working and not make me trouble and too much electric bill

Electricity bill is almost a big problem as initial cost of equipment.   Depends on how fast you receive item.

Almost as if buying BTC would've been better.
It almost is like buying BTC, instead of giving your fiat to an exchange for BTC you give it to the electric company for BTC.

This is true, and for a much worse exchange rate.
Not for me Smiley

Aside from the lower exchange rate, you have the added chore of maintaining your miner, or setting it up so it runs ok. But every now and then, you have to check on it, just in case. Check your network. Check your internet connection. Check your pool. Check your miner. Check power.

GAW miners is doing to KNC LTC Asic what Bitmain did to them with ASIC for BTC.  Faster development cycle, quicker manufacturing.

Watching ASIC manufacturer's is a lot like watching a basket of fruit..they all look just fine when they are new...but slowly rot over time.....

Yep. I am glad I didn't buy in deeper, it sounds nightmarish.

My overclocked Mercury is still making .055 every 2 weeks, I'm happy for what I got out of it. Smiley

ASIC miners are more likely an ice cream, you should take your time to ate it, otherwise melt right the way out of pack.

I like the way to have a miner working and don't care how much it mines, as long as I got a miner and it is keep working and not make me trouble and too much electric bill, ether way to enjoy hobby and my life, just don't let your self involve too deep, virtual currency need more fun to your life.

Why purchase miners and not make you happy but only stress?
I will very happy to receive my miner from KNC as long as they keep promise.

hahaha too true...i hate to see people getting burnt in the pre-order game and it makes me even more angry when certain manufacturers do not abide by laws regarding consumer rights or refund obligations. However there is one quick answer to this STOP... I say it again STOP just STOP STOP STOP STOP STOPPPPP clicking yes to pre-order nonsense. All you are really doing is locking your money up for 6-12 months and promoting this as common practice in the mining industry. If a manufacturer wants to make a miner then they can use their own bloody money or seek capital by selling shares or acquiring loan financing or by playing the lotto for all I care. If they still can't find the money then they just should not be manufacturing miners at all.

BTC is capitalism in it's purest form.

I find it humorous that folks expect the reward without the risk.

I also find it humorous that some feel obligated to TELL others how they SHOULD act.
That is the domain of religion and/or collectivism not capitalism.

Playing the capitalist game by religious rules may not be too wise.

YMMV

That is part of the game..the problem is with KNC imho is with the NO REFUND policy and the Titan being their last official consumer miner (or maybe
any miners at this point they could go all in for Data Hall Mining for their own use) .anyway...the deafening silence of them not even fighting back
on GAWminers saying they are gonna bury KNC ...well no money in pride with a no refund policy at this point I guess as far as KNC is concerned.

Clueless!
GAWminers has deployed hashnet (such as it is not sure if cloud hosting is worth it) it is the extra MH they will dump on the market (it is active now
)....what is of note in that GAWminers claims FREE hosting till they ship I think it was August 28th on the Vaultbreakers (350mh and 750mh for 1/2 Titan prices)
they actively claim to bury KNC..gonna hurt a lot if they do activate them on aug 28th

that would basically kill the Titan dead in its tracks ROI wise all that stuff hashing a month or more before you get your Titan with no increase in MH etc

again I'd like to see KNC fight back in some manner but with the deafening silence I guess we are just gonna eat it all ourselves on our Titan purchases

again above is what I've heard on GAWminers ..anyone with more current info feel free to correct me or add to the above ...guess I picked the wrong horse.

Dream become broken often
You know, we do have enough experience around here with the negative Preorder B.S. that some of us have been experiencing since March of 2014 that we can get together, form a company and announce that we're now taking 1st batch & 2nd batch orders on our newly designed W.G.Y.M.M. (WE'VE GOT YOUR MINING MONEY.) 1.2nm ASIC chipset with a power envelope of .7 watts per GH/s.  ...and stress "they must hurryc to get their orders in because there is only a limited number of batches left".
Then watch these thieving, greedy companies fallover themselves to open up their coffers (with our refund monies) in a rush to best the competition to place their preorders. We can give them a time delivery frame of Christmas (won't tell them which one though) while using their money (which is actually ours & then some) to open up a Co-location site to pool all of our mining equipment purchased from credible vendors & mine away.  When reach or approach the delivery time we can offer them refunds of 10-14 business days that we would then deem as qualifying business dates.
For the vendors that commence to complain we can offer them virtual images of chips that we would virtually use to mine for them until...
Well you guys can fill in the rest.

Just kidding for those that have been burned as bad as I have been by KFC, Bfl or any other one of these big thieves, that would actually consider this or something like it.

+1 so agree with ya, but the sad fact of the matter is....people can't stop...its like a addiction they have to feed, they see all those huge first success stories from avalon preorder and think every preorder will be just like that...I try n only buy 2nd hand cause i know for sure how much hash i'll get and when so i can actually make ROI, which i have done Smiley i did gamble on some 2nd scrypt HW and wishing i didn't, also gambled on some hosted GAW HW too...oh well ya win some, ya lose some

The problem is that Neptune is not roi at all
So the problem is not the delivery date But the hashing speed

Come on man.  If they delivered in March the hashing speed would have been fine.  The two are not mutually exclusive.  You can still buy yourself 1000 BFL Jalapenos delivered tomorrow if you like and get a hashing speed of 7Th/s but the electrical bill will kill you. (oh and I am not recommending anyone buy anything from BFL it is just an example).
