"Q1/Q2" MEANS--- March or April..
No it doesn't.
It was clear that it didn't when it was first announced, and several people loudly said so.
Why is basic math so difficult for some people? Oh yeah, everyone drops out of school these days.
A year is 12 months(shocking revelation, I know). Divided into quarters ( 12 % 4, 12 * 1/4, however you want to look at it ) consists of three month long quarters. This also, may be shocking to some.
[Jan] [Feb] [March] <---- that is quarter 1
[Apr] [May] [June] <---- that is quarter 2
[July] [Aug] [Sept] <---- that is quarter 3
[Oct] [Nov] [Dec ] <---- that is quarter 4
To say that something will "arrive Q1/Q2" is short for saying "Delivery of your product will take place in the following time period: Quarter 1 (January 1 - March 31) and Quarter 2 (April 1 - June 30)...
Which is to say that it will ship between January 1 and June 30.
