Woooo hooo   yourself....   you are a real piece of work.
You did absolutely no research, that much is obvious
You don't seem to understand. They claim they are fabricating 20nm chips. Do you even know what that is?

I give up. Please buy up all their devices so there are none left for the rest of us. Please do.
In case YOU don't know...it's a microprocessor!  One they spent 8 months developing...Essex/Chelmsford Road Industrial Estate is hardly in the middle of nowhere btw.
I guess I'll have to say a 4th time...I never said I was buying any, and never recommended them either... and if I did... I wouldn't let you know about it.
I actually advised my brother against it.

What on earth did you find that makes you think they are real, and shipping a 20nm product in two months?
Not only that, but they claim they are fabbing the 20nm chips in the UK! Phoenix really did his research.
DUH... CMS has their own in-house manufacturing facility.. yes, for asics. They've made more asics than Carter's had liver pills.
So, who didn't do their homework again? After I spent all day on it...
lol
I've looked into it. CMS's business is designing controllers. The unrelated CTS's business is scamming idiots on the internet.

You think CMS have an in-house, high tech 20nm fabrication facility in a low security industrial estate in the back end of nowhere? Wooohooohooo!  Grin
See the big, bold writing on top of their page?  "MICROPROCESSOR" yeah, totally unrelated, I guess the gov.uk site just lies too huh...lol

Business registry as a subsidiary of Cambridge Microprocessor Systems(CMS), matching tele #s, verification from  CMS that CTS is it's sub...  address inside the same building but in different wing, all the right answers when called, Emails answered promptly... Expertly fluid website, I can't remember it all, we found bunches.
in two months?....yeah from now.... not from when they started on it, 8 months ago

Schizophrenic much Phoenix? First you are totally against cts:

Yeah, Cts miner looks like a BFL job all over again....   and no real credentials at all... just smoke, no links to the fabulous company's websites they speak of....   All claims, and zero proof. No linkdn, no profiles, references, or past projects to even check up on when they claim they've been doing this since the stone age....(1975)wow, before the web existed.....amazing. Did microprocessors even exist then?  ...and they look 20ish... and the info on the "about us" page literally changed since last night from starting this in may 2012 to may 2013.... They claim to have made chips for..  Aircraft Testing, Remote Switchgear Operation, Stock Control, Instrumentation, Oil and Petrochemical Exploration, Marine Science and Environmental Control.... and not a single affiliate listed, not a single customer listed in a way we can check the background. Total Bullshit. Obvious scammers, and bad liars. Michael Richardson supposedly went to Cambridge... we could check that, that's it.  Oh, and a working prototype on Jan 22nd, but three months to deliver from there?  Must be an fpga, in which case, they lied again.. oh... "some changes to the internals have had to be made to the CirrusMine product which is why unfortunately we have been unable to supply you with detailed internal shots" Yeah, good excuse.
Total fishiness throughout the site. How could they possibly afford to almost fully develop a 5Th/s 20nm machine with no venture capitol, and not have a single picture?

KNC may have had terrible stick drawings, but had mass credentials to back up their claims, and a traceable history, which is why I chose KNC early on.

No credentials & no history to check = no $ from Ewik

4 hours later, you have flipped over on your back:

CTS is legit.
Traced them finally...   http://www.cms.uk.com/   they are indeed a subsidiary, and in the same building, and same voice on recording, and one digit off on tele #  and My brother talked with Rebecca.  I still don't want one though.

You been promised a free rig or something for this 360degree turn? No one could believe cts is legit if they read that thread now. Order payments go to a newly generated bitcoin addy each time and the order number remains the same - how could that be a legit business?!

Then your split personality brother, who had to sell two neptune pre-orders fast because he desperately need fiat, says he bought two units from them???

I bought two units, because I did enough research to make me believe that they are real.  I admit, it's a risk and they could have done a better job with some proof of product. But they already sold half of their inventory in less than a day, regardless, which is amazing.

What are you both on? CTS Payroll?  Grin

Sadly, you have a little bit of legitmacy in this forum. I think it's sad you used that to help shill up an obviously corrupt company.
Yes, changed our minds after hours of research... My brother and I investigated them all day, from 9am, until 11:30pm when he went to bed just an hour ago. You obviously would rather everyone cried scam without any homework. Listening to trolls on their thread isn't proof of anything, especially since they offer none.
We decided they were real, and I shared our decision they were a real company earlier. You don't like it... too damned bad.  Tongue

Shill?   I never recommended them to anyone..... just stated legitimacy

And I am 99% certain they are a SCAM. Don't say they are legit when they have produced NO credentials.

Really?  What about this posted in their thread?...

Seems legit. I hope they can push the delivery forward to 1st April though Tongue
Change your mind?....or playin' both sides?
I felt same way, obviously.. except the part about april 1st

April 1st rolls around....  we get a post...."April Fools", and the site disappears.... hehe

Sarcams. Do you speak it?  Grin

clearly not...

nor facts, nor logic, nor honesty.

he's just weird!

and not the cute weird he wikes to pretend to be.

he's the off-key, peculiar weird regular folk cross the street to avoid (except he's rarely seen outside)

he also likes to twist facts into mental case accusations and insinuations & goes silent when its pointed out.

anyone could be forgiven for thinking he works for KnC.

http://www.ctsminer.com/

they are such a scam (also read the above bitcoin thread pretty much have debunked these guys hard)....on website creation location amount of supposed orders sold 5kbtc in 2hrs stuff like that

i offer as an example on HOW to take a chance on sometjhing like this...I ordered from www.alpha-t.net the litecoin asic maker that took 1/3 down with paypal and amex cc via paypal

they are likely NOT a scam..but seem somewhat clueless on how to proceed i will likely pull my order within 30 days (my timeline) I have 45 days under paypal

also www.kncminer.com had LINE DRAWINGS on their site (shudder) ...but they did take paypal via cc so took a chance with them on further info took the chance and worked out

the above place don't take paypal btc no refunds etc etc usual scam if you read the thread and pages on their site

it is ok to take a chance on such stuff BUT HAVE AN EXIT STRATEGY...even if they are legit does not mean they know what they are doing

Searing

you  are probably right...but By the way... The policy isn't "no refunds". The policy is "No refunds unless we don't deliver on april 7th"

Is bitstamp down for everyone else too?

again i restate if BFL announced the same 5TH miner or hashfast that they secretly had been developing since last year (and remember they have an asic chip to pump up to 20mm)
would you buy their info ....the thread would burn down from the posts of how it was a scam

out of the blue no info on these people i can find no facebook page...no UK business deally  I guess you are supposed to have for this kinda thing no refunds....a "fixed" sihipping date of april 7th in jan..no prototypes (heck even www.alpha-t.net the asic litecon miner has a video of a prototype...again i think alpha is unlikely to be a scam...but they look like me and a buddy trying to make a mining company...i whince watching them stumble about...and they over paypal and cc and 30day refund)

its  unfortunatly imho a scam

well $$$ for invisible mining does tend to knock down difficulty this summer thou

I suppose it isn't possible to use this to bypass the controller board and mine directly with a PC?
