Now SRH management have some good time for thinking about this all and having some good decisions because they still can achieve some good results from this squad but in this season due to Covid and change of place is really hurt their teams' performance.

They were hit by injuries (Natarajan) and pullouts (Jonny Bairstow), so it definitely had an impact on them. But even in 2020, a lot of people pointed out on their overdependence on foreign players. This time some of these foreign players were out of form, and that completely destroyed their prospects. First of all, they need to find quality Indian talent. Inclusion of some of the members in the current squad baffles me - Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma, Vijay Shankar, Jagadeesha Suchith, Sandeep Sharma.etc. Their stats indicate that they are not up to the IPL level. Hopefully the management can get replacement for these players by next year.

If RCB can't win the match today, I would say it was only because of Padikkal's mistake. But as long as AB de Villiers is at the crease, RCB will be hoping to win the match. RCB need 24 runs from 15 balls.
Yeah it must be Padikkal's mistake but what a win for SRH even target was not good but some good and quality bowling from few SRH bowlers like Holder and Bhuvi Kumar at the end done some magic and clinch this win from jaws of RCB and AB Devillier at the end 12 balls and 18 I was sure it's going to be easy win for them but these both bowlers keep their patience and done good bowling from this win we can say SRH just unlucky due to change of place and fail to have some good result.

Your guess is probably going to be right. RCB did not lose any wickets before 12 overs. Maxwell is batting well. He collected 36 runs from 21 balls. He hit two fours and two over the boundary. Bangalore needs 56 off 42 balls to win. Is it too much? Since there are still players like De Villiers and Maxwell, I think this match is now completely under the control of RCB.
Required run wasn't much but Bangalore lost the match by 4 runs. It was an exciting game at the end point. Devdutt Padikkal played slowly today. He consumed lots of ball and scored less. Where Maxwell really played well and he kept the game alive for RCB. 6 run was needed in the last ball, De Villiers tried but he managed a single from the last ball.

Devdutt Padikkal was dismissed for 41 off 52 balls. The striker rate is only 78.84. When batting with such a low strike rate, it often becomes difficult to reach the goal. Moreover, Maxwell was run out today due to Padikkal's mistake. If RCB can't win the match today, I would say it was only because of Padikkal's mistake. But as long as AB de Villiers is at the crease, RCB will be hoping to win the match. RCB need 24 runs from 15 balls.

Now it seems a very hard game for RCB. Lost valuable 3 wickets only for 38 runs. End of 7 overs they are able to collect only 38. Now Padikkal and Maxwell are at the crease. Bangalore still has a chance to win. Maxwell, Padikkal, and De Villiers. All three have the ability to win the match. I still think Bangalore will win the match unless they lose another wicket before 12 overs.

I am not sure SRH is going to give this very easily even right now they are out of League but still fighting hard for their honour win because they already face some serious humiliation in this year's event 14.1 over 92 for 4 Maxwell out direct throw from Williamson and now AB is on crease lets watch what happen in next 35 balls a very interesting and entertaining fight between bat and ball is going on in Abu Dhabi.
If SRH able to have 2 more quick wickets than surely they are fighting back in this match, Padikall is also doing very good right now 35 from 45 balls against quality bowling of Rashid Khan and Bhuve Kumar is not easy for anyone.

RCB need 44 runs in 30 balls.

The only match today is between RCB vs SRH. Since RCB is the third team in the points table, and even if they win or lose this match, their position will not change. So this match is unimportant to them. SRH, on the other hand, has won just two of 12 matches. Even if they win, they will remain in the last position on the points table. I think it's like a warm-up match for RCB.
The match is important for RCB, because they have a chance to move up to the second spot if they win the match by a big margin (however, CSK need to lose their last group match in order for that to happen). Anyway for SRH, the tournament is almost over. After today's match, they have one more group match and that is the end of this season for them. Feels bad, because they had some of the best T20 players (Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, David Warner.etc). Despite such players, they managed to loss 10 out of their 12 matches so far.

I'm sorry. I thought it was RCB's 13th match. However, Bangalore still has ample opportunity to move up to second place in the points table. For this, they must win today's and last match. In today's match, Hyderabad managed to give a target of 142 runs by batting first. Hyderabad's bowling lineup is not bad. Winning the match will not be easy for Bangalore. I want to see a good knock from Kohli today.
Kohli fails! A Bhuvneshwar Kumar strike in his first over ends Virat Kohli's innings. I believe that there is a very slim chance that they can finish second if they win both matches by a large margin. RCB is sure to go bang bang as it is the chasing pitch. It will be interesting to see if the SRH bowlers can make an impact.

What happened to the middle order of RR, it collapsed completely. Are they dependent on Sanju Samson only there are a few good batsmen down the order? With a score of just 90 runs, it was a completely one-sided match. You can not defend such a low score. When was that this guy Rahul Tewatia batted good, was it the last IPL?

They purchased Chris Morris for $2.3 million, and he can't even find a place in the playing XI nowadays. Apart from the top order, none of their batsmen are in form (ironically that is the case with most of the other franchises - most of them have brittle middle order these days). Apart from Morris, Ryan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Glenn Phillips and David Miller have failed to score runs for RR. Anyway, even before the tournament I expected them to be overdependent on Sanju Samson, and they haven't been really able to shrug off that perception.

So this is the scenario for 4th spot fight for the playoffs.

First 2 scenario are out of the equation because MI won convincingly last night, when no one was expecting them to win due to their poor form, at least majority of fans.

I really hope that 3rd scenario plays out, it would be more entertaining if it comes down to run rate.

This happens everytime. Sanju Samson fails at the crucial stage, after big knocks during the earlier games. They were 25/0 after two overs, and made 65 runs and lost 9 wickets in the next 18 overs. All the credit to Nathan Coulter-Nile and James Neesham, the two overseas players who were ignored for too long by the Mumbai Indians. I always felt that James Neesham was crucial to Mumbai Indians, after the pathetic performances from Hardik Pandya in recent times. They should have done that earlier.

Mumbai won the match against RR and if Kolkata Knight Riders looses the next match then Mumbai Indians will be qualified.
If Mumbai Indians get qualified and then end up winning the title i wont be surprised because the performance against Rajasthan Royals during a crucial stage of the tournament and winning by a huge margin shows how Mumbai Indians can rise to the occasion even though they need Kolkata Knight Riders to loose the next match and Mumbai Indians winning the match for them to qualify.

Back to back defeats surely big disappointment for CSK and their fans because they were playing the best cricket in last few matches, but suddenly Rajasthan Royals change their momentum of wins and bring them down to earth after this lost now against Delhi Capital's give more dent in this. Rayudu was only batsman who give some resistance, all others was very poor and not able to handle quality bowling from Delhi Capitals.
Chennai Super Kings could have won the match but they dropped catches at crucial moments and that was an easy catch to dismiss Shimron Hetmyer and if that catch was taken then the match would have been different.

Now they have last match against Punjab Kings, and they need to win this if they want to stay at second spot because lose can bring them down to third RCB is also doing good for best end of this phase, and they have some better chances.
Even if CSK looses against RCB that would not bother them much, they need to focus on two matches and they will be in the finals.

Lol what a collapse. 90 all out in Sharjah? Can't stop laughing after checking scorecard.

Pitch is that bad or its just RR is playing like a shit? May be combination of both but later seems more obvious to me. Let's see how MI perform in the 2nd inning, Would be epic show if MI collapse too lol. Enough drama for punters to get a heart attack.  Grin Grin
Just too easy chase for Mumbai! Mumbai keep their playoff hopes alive with a fifty from Ishan Kishan on his return to the side. Yet, sometimes changes bring positive results. It may have been smarter to play this type of game earlier instead of depending on the other team now. The loss is disappointing for Rajasthanians.

Pitch is not bad as they play I am also feeling terrible for them because before match some good things was going in their favor but suddenly all end now they will be badly demolished by Mumbai Indians and their NRR will also jump good, and we have some good and interesting last matches of this phase.

Neesham entry is very good and useful for Mumbai Indians and Coulter-Nile also on top of game but really waste of Hardik Pandya because if he is not fully fit then surely give him rest and time for world cup. Rohit Sharma is starting in mood like Rajasthan Royals done against CSK, most chances matches going to end in between 12 and 15 overs.

Edit: Sharma gone very quickly  Sakariya takes wicket but Mumbai is still not going to stop.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl. They batted later against Punjab and won the match by 6 wickets. I think for the same reason they have decided to bowl first in today's match. But if Rajasthan's batsmen can perform as well as in the previous match, they will undoubtedly target more than 190 runs. At the moment, Mumbai does not have the ability to win by batting for such a huge run.
Rajasthan's batsmen performed on the opposite direction today. They only collected 90 runs by losing 9 wickets. That's an easy target for Mumbai. The middle order batsman didn't play as they should. They weren't showing attempts to hit boundaries. Although they tried to save their wickets but they couldn't. Rajasthan won't have the opportunity to qualify for the next round if they loss the game today. Mustafizur played better in the last over than the other players. At least he was trying to hit boundaries.

I'm sure today's I'm going to lose my bet. Only 90 runs! Like seriously! This seems to be the lowest run target of the season. In the previous match, Rajasthan scored 19 runs in 17.3 overs, in today's match only 90 runs in 20 overs! I still can't believe it. However, advance congratulations to the Mumbai Indians team for winning today's match. I will never bet for Rajasthan Royals again.
