On top of that Iyer's captaincy is also not looking great. He is unable to motivate the team and to keep the morale high. Maybe they need a new captain for the final match.
This is the first time DC qualifying in the Finals so i think we should give him some credits.

DC performed exceptionally well during the first half of this edition and that is the reason why they are in the final. That said, I would still give the credit to Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje for this achievement. It was their high-quality depth bowling, which enabled DC to win so many matches. I would say that the captaincy made hardly any difference during this phase.
You are right. Their bowlers will be the main contributors to DC's wins. Because if Shikhar Dhawan doesn't play well, their other batsmen can't perform better. I think even today if Shikhar Dhawna doesn't play a big innings then DC won't win the match.

The stonis is also playing great from the previous match. The match between SRH and DC was a do or die one and they have performed well. I believe today also they will blast.

DC has won the toss. The game will be very interesting today as the team is unchanged for DC. Previously the openers blasted the SRH. If MI are able to score more than 180 then we can see a interesting match here.

they experimented with the Stonis which paid off greatly in the last match. Heard that Stonis used to bat on Top order in BBL so they should go with him. Their main concern should be skipper Iyer, he's really struggling with his timing for quite some now.
I was wondering why Marcus Stoinis was not given the opening slot considering he is a really successful explosive opener for Melbourne Stars and he was in top form this year in BBL setting the tournament highest score and i was thinking what the DC management were thinking by not giving him the opening slot.

~Edited out~
I wasn't aware of this until commentators brought this up. Ricky Ponting is head coach of DC, he could have pushed him earlier as he knows better about BBL but Pritvi Shaw was in the team and everyone's first choice, somehow failure of Shaw pushed them to try Stonis back on his fav position.

Here also this could happen. I believe Delhi Capitals wins the league this time.
Even i would like to see Delhi Capitals to win this season as they never won it before while Mumbai won multiple times and the last two tournament wins in 2017 and 2019 by 1 run which says everything about their bowlers, Mitchell Johnson bowled the last over in 2017 where he picked 3 wickets while Malinga bowled the last over in 2019 and picked 2 wickets and this time around if Mumbai wins it depends upon how Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult bowls.

Bumrah is the best bowler in T20 format right now. But the same can't be said about Boult. He has taken a lot of wickets in this edition of the IPL, but he leaked a lot of runs during crucial situations. Boult is one of those bowlers who are more suited to the test format. The biggest vulnerability for MI remains their spin department. If DC can make use of this vulnerability, then they can become the champions for the first time.

Delhi might've got nervousness of playing against Mumbai Indians on the finals. Same time Mumbai Indians will be having the nervousness, because every match against Delhi Capitals is being won by them. Surely this will make them have more confidence. Over confidence in cricket match has resulted in failure on most matches. Here also this could happen. I believe Delhi Capitals wins the league this time.

Well.. I would never accuse Mumbai Indians of being overconfident. They have taken their opponents seriously and also they never relaxed their hold on the situation even when they were certain about their victory. This can be said about some of the other teams, such as the King's XI Punjab and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. These teams lost a number of matches as a result of their overconfidence.

Hopefully, MI will win this year IPL DC is no match for them.

Nothing is certain. We had so many upsets in this edition of the IPL and I won't be surprised if we have another one tomorrow. Don't forget the fact that MI themselves got steam rolled at least once during this tournament (SRH defeated them by 10 wickets on 3rd November). DC looks completely out of sorts, but they have some really good players. Anything can happen.

The exciting thing about T20 is an lucky day for a single player could change the fate of the game. But undoubtedly, Mumbai Indians is a much more balanced team than Delhi Capitals. Mumbai has been to finals a good number of times and won and lost under pressure. It would be the first finals for Delhi Capitals and the nervousness would be greater on that side added they are the team entering finals with playoff after losing to MI.

If DC can play the same game they played against SRH they will have a chance against MI, Marcus Stoinis could be the trump card and if he gets going against the MI opening bowlers then they will have a chance.
DC had issues with their opening partnership and giving Marcus Stoinis the opportunity was the best thing to happen for a struggling team and when they had runs on the board their bowlers were able to defend that but against MI it is a really different ball game, Rohit Sharma is struggling but they have some good middle order players with outstanding strike rate and i think toss will be a major factor.

For Delhi's perspective, if we forget about Sikhar then Delhi's top order is in bad form as well, they experimented with the Stonis which paid off greatly in the last match. Heard that Stonis used to bat on Top order in BBL so they should go with him. Their main concern should be skipper Iyer, he's really struggling with his timing for quite some now. Hetmeyer doing okay and Pant is big disappointment this year. Rahane batting down the order seems useless to me, he can only perform in Top order. Prithvi's bad form really hurting them.

I feel bad about Delhi. Earlier Shikhar Dhawan was not in form, and the other batsmen were scoring runs (especially Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant). Now Iyer and Pant are going through a very rough patch. On top of that Iyer's captaincy is also not looking great. He is unable to motivate the team and to keep the morale high. Maybe they need a new captain for the final match.

MI has faced DC 3 times in this season. And won every time very easily. They won the first match by 5 wickets, the second match by 9 wickets and the last match by 58 runs. I don't know why DC is playing badly in every match against MI. Still, it is difficult to say what will happened in the final. If MI don't make any big mistake in the final, they will win the title this season.

These stats won't make any difference. The current edition of the IPL has been extremely unpredictable. Yesterday no one would have thought that DC would win against SRH. But they did. The first half of IPL 2020 was diametrically opposite from the first half. Teams such as CSK which performed badly in the first half regained their form during the second half. But I still expect MI to win the final match quite convincingly.
I agree with you too. This season's IPL does not follow any statistics. I have not seen any team played consistently well except MI. That's why I think MI will be the champion in this season. If DC become  the champion then I would say their luck was very helpful so they have become the champion. MI has performed so well so far, hopefully they will play well in the final too. And this time they will win the title

If we consider the overall consistency in this IPL, then MI should win this season too. As far as DC is concerned, if they have to win then Shikhar has to bat as long as possible or atleast give a good start to the team then only I think their chances increases to be in the game or even to win it.
MI has never won IPL in consecutive years. They won in 2013/15/17/19 so if they win, it will be first for them in consecutive years.

Both Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are well balanced teams. But that doesn't mean that they don't have any vulnerabilities. The lack of a quality spinner has impacted chances of MI a number of times this season. They have Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar, but both of them have been average so far. And for DC, the problem lies in their fragile middle order. Tomorrow, both the teams will attempt to make use of the other's vulnerability.

@Vishnu.Reang is absolutely right we have nothing certain because cricket by chance is very old saying so the team play well on the day and have better luck will win this years title yesterday as SRH was going mostly peoples was sure they are going to win but Willionson's lost hurt them very badly Stonies and Rabada done very good job in last few overs now just wait and watch who is winner.

Delhi is to meet Mumbai in the grand final .What a game though we were watching.Outstanding.Though Delhi was always in control but Hyberabad surely had them worried when Williamson and Samad were batting .Have to credit Stoinis and Rabada for the way they bowled . Feeling bad for Williamson , he tried his best like eliminator match but this time was not enough for win.

A great game of cricket from both sides yesterday. I feel if Shikar Dhawan could have reviewed his out then the DC total score would have been touching the 200 marks. A lot of misfield by SRH on the field and lose batting was the result of their loss. I expected a disciplined SRH team but they were too careless and that is why I feel they lost the match.

Hopefully, MI will win this year IPL DC is no match for them.

I would like to say that Delhi peaked again at the right time, they were struggling with the form of certain players and the bowlers were taken apart in the past but they way in which they were able to shuffle their batting line up and then get a good start in the beginning was crucial and the rest of the players were able to put a commanding total which put the pressure on the SRH players and they had no choice than to attack from the start and that is when they started loosing the wickets, the final would be exciting as well.

What a horrible loss for Hyderabad. They looked strong till the 16th over and then after Williamson lost his wicket, they just lost momentum. Warner also went out too early for 2. Lost my bet again Sad

Hope Mumbai doesn't prove to be disappointing in the finals and wins the IPL this time.
Mumbai have a much balanced team and if DC can play the game with the same intensity that they played today then it will be a heavily contested final. DC was on a loosing streak and the way they were able to pick the right team and shuffling the batting line up made wonders for the team and the bowlers were getting aide from the wicket as well, but i am still picking MI to win another trophy.
