Yup.. simply unbelievable. Highest run chase in the history of the Indian Premier League and RR has won this match. At one point, they needed around 16 runs per over. And yet they managed to win the match. The 18th over was just unbelievable. Sheldon Cottrell went for 30 runs per over (5 sixes from 6 balls, all of them hit by Rahul Tewatia). This was the most unreal match I ever watched in the IPL.

As I had posted earlier, the decision to send Tewatia ahead of Curran and Uthappa has most probably cost Rajasthan Royals this match. At least Tewatia could have made sure that Sanju Samson gets the majority of the strike. Rather than doing that he was taking single of the last ball, to keep Samson away from strike. It can't get any more pathetic than this.

I did not place a bet on the initial matches but CSK seems to disappoint as they are not trying to chase the score as they are wasting too many balls and then they reach a situation that they are not able to cross the line even after some big shots in the end knowing that they are not going to win the match.

Why is Chris Gayle not in the team, is he not in form to be involved in the team or is it due to injury. Sanju Samson is still in the crease and if he stays till the end RR has a chase to win the match but it is a really huge target to chase.

RR needs 119 from 10 overs. And the required rate has almost touched 2 runs per ball. It is going to be tough. Steve Smith and Buttler are gone. Samson is still there, but he needs support from the middle order. Rahul Tewatia just wasted a number of balls, and this is what they don't need right now. It was a real blunder to send him ahead of Tom Curran and Robin Uthappa.

I would like Chris Gayle included in the playing XI for Kings XI Punjab. He can form a good pair with KL Rahul. Even during the last match, none of the KXIP batsmen gave enough support to Rahul (apart from Mayank Agarwal). But I am not 100% sure about Gayle's inclusion. They can include only 4 overseas players and for the last match they had Maxwell, Pooran, Neesham and Cottrell. They are definitely not going to drop Maxwell, Pooran and Cottrell. That means Neesham may be dropped for today's match.

RR won the toss and elected to bowl first, they made two changes the important fact is Buttler is in on those two inclusions.KXIP didn't made any changes in their squad I guess,oitvh report says it will be a good pitch to bat on and then small boundaries as well so we could see high scoring innings tonight.

Actually Sony SIX HD is the broadcaster, but I am not sure whether they will be covering the matches. In India, Jio TV is having the online streaming rights. So if you are having a JIO sim, then you can watch these matches live. I don't know the last time I watched a women's match. I tried to watch some of the WBBL matches, but they were not as exciting as the men's matches.

No one watch the women cricket matches. The only time i watch a match for women cricket are the world cup semifinal and the finals. Other than these two occasions i am not interested in women cricket. Cool

Their trick worked because the runs to chase were very less. They just need to play the overs without losing the wickets and that could help them win the match. This turn out to be an easy win for KKR.

Very intelligently played by KKR, the opponent team(SRH) thought that they will rush to reach the target but KKR did the opposite. Initially they were rushing but after few wickets they played the game which was needed by them.
