Today it worked for SRH.
But remember that they included a batsmen (Kane Williamson) in the place of an all-rounder (Mohammad Nabi). For today's match, they didn't faced any issue because the other bowlers (except Khaleel Ahmed) did a good job. But what will happen, in case their main bowlers fail? They do have a number of inexperienced faces in their lineup and the presence of Nabi gives them an additional bowling option.
The reason is the slow pitch and it is not easy to score freely if you are bowling a good line and length, look at the balls that went for six majority of the balls were full toss, since it was a difficult pitch to bat the addition of Kane Williamson was a good option if not SRH will not reach even 140 runs in this pitch.
If the pitch remains the same it will be difficult for the batsman and with bowlers like Rashid Khan it will be a cake walk to bowl the perfect line and length and that is what we saw today. In other pitches they need a batsman like Kane Willamson because they lack good power hitters like some of the teams in the middle order.
I think the primary difficulty which every bowler is so far facing in death bowling is the wet ball due to dew on the ground. We saw even Bumrah was smashed so many times by ABD because the Yorkers were just not on the spot. While on the other hand Natrajan and Kumar bowled yorkers brilliantly while Rashid is no less than a prodigy. I think teams must be doing yorkers practice with a wet ball these days.
Picking Kane Williamson was a good choice and he performed and SRH is in a winning position right now as Hetmyer is gone and Stoinis is a trump card and he could take the game away but it all depends how Rashid Khan bowls his final over and how Bhuvneshwar Kumar could control the flow of runs when DC is going for boundaries.

In the past matches there is no success with the bowlers. Today it worked with Rashid, Bhuvnesh kumar and Natarajan. They got wickets as well as the economy was good, as none allowed to score more than 25 runs in their spells. Same time if any one of the partnership from Delhi Capitals lasted for few more overs, surely it'd have been a win for Delhi Capitals.
I think it was a calculated risk which SRH took and they won. You right the situation will not be the same again. They cannot always depend on bowlers.
Actually SRH have always been highly dependent on their bowlers and these bowlers have shown them good results. Remember the 2016 IPL won by SRH. Only David warner and Shikhar Dhawan were two batsmen who batted for SRH contribution by rest of the batting unit was negligible. While it was primarily their bowlers like Bhuvaneshwar, Mustafizur, Sran and Henriques which helped them win that IPL.
