As only IPL have all the international players come together to play the  game everybody knows about it and I think only that country people might know other the leagues and people also may not have time to watch so many leagues and cricket happening around the globe .
The main reason IPL got this much traction that the rest of the leagues that are mentioned is because IPL was the first franchise T20 cricket league and it was a great success as there were players from around the globe and the amount of money they spent for production and the cricket crazy fans in India made it a huge success and then the other leagues started after seeing the commercial success they could attain.

@Vishnu.Reang Of all the leagues you have mentioned, I haven't watched any leagues except for IPL and I haven't even heard of SCL and the T20 Global League. It hard to find time to watch all these leagues  Undecided

Second largest franchise T20 league in the world has started. The first match of the Big Bash League saw Sydney Thunder beating Brisbane Heat by a healthy margin of 29 runs, with Callum Ferguson hitting 73 for the Thunder. With the IPL auctions scheduled for this Thursday, a lot of the franchises will be watching these matches closely.

And in the Bangladesh Premier League, Shoaib Malik managed to score 87 from 50 balls for the Rajshahi Royals, but his team still lost to the Khulna Tigers. Mushfiqur Rahim hit 96 from 51 balls for the victorious team. 18 runs were required from the last two overs, but Andre Russell conceded 14 runs of the 19th over.

Players from the smaller state boards always face this issue in India. I don't know much about Kerala cricket, but I have read about K. N. Ananthapadmanabhan. Once he was regarded as the best spinner in India. But he was never given an opportunity to represent the national side, because the selectors were afraid that if he performs well, then Anil Kumble will be out of the team. At least Sanju is luckier than him.
KN Ananthapadmanabhan was the best leg spinner Kerala had but was not even considered to be in the national team may be because of tough challenge in the team for spinners and Kumble was the main leg spinner India had and unless he is injured there is no way anyone could get a chance to get into the team but right now are looking for young talents to be in the team and Sanju Samson performing well in the domestic circuit but he is not given the opportunity for the past 4 years.

Good news for cricket fans and for South Africa as AB de Villiers is in talks with the cricket board to return for the T20 world cup and i really hope they will include him in the team, AB de Villiers was planning to return for the ODI world cup but then they did not consider him because it was too late to select him but now he informed about his interest to play the world cup well ahead and i hope there will be no more excuses.

To put it honestly, nowadays too many franchise T20 leagues have been started and it is getting slightly repetitive with players such as Chris Gayle and Andre Russell appearing for 5-6 different franchises in a single year. We have the Pokhara Premier League (Nepal) and the Qatar T10 League ongoing now, apart from the Mzansi Super League. It is actually very tiring to keep track of all these leagues.

Nice chart, will send some merits soon (when i get some). this list points out some very interesting things about how all cricket board handles their T-20 leagues. for example BCCI starts IPL when there is no Domestic or international cricket (1-2 exceptions).

Just noticed the post about the Qatar T10 League. There were a few big names participating in this tournament, such as Hashim Amla, Kamran Akmal, Sikandar Raza, Scott Edwards, Salman Butt, Andri Berenger, Mohammad Hafeez, Sohail Tanvir, Manpreet Singh Gony.etc, but the response from the fans was lukewarm. On top of that, both the semifinals got washed away as a result of rain. I hope that in the future, this tournament will grow like the Abu Dhabi T10 league.

I once told about the  Mzansi Super League here but no one look interested in that league and therefore we had no discussions about it. Although I was watching this  league actively but did not share anything here buz of lack of interest. I just want to inform you that today is the last day of the leqgue and the final is in progress at  Paarl between TS and PR.  AB de Villars is playing for TS and I hope they can win this one.

The chart is very helpful and really explains the thing itself that how many tournaments are being held and I think that each board has to decide which players should be send in what tournaments. Like all the first class cricket players could be made part of this tournaments which will give them good exposure .

If you are a true cricket lover than you should follow all the leagues and watch all the matches. The ones you missed can be viewed later on you tube but ideally you should watch all the match in full Live. This shows our dedication and true love for the cricket.

While Mzansi Super League is still in progress (Today Bay Giants will take on Tshwane Spartans), we have another T10 league starting from 15 in Abu Dhabi. We will daily have 3 matches in  T10 league for the next 10 days. We have too much cricket to follow for the next few days. It will be exciting to watch all these matches.

The selection of Rishabh Pant is getting very controversial these days. Keralites are not happy, because they think that Virat Kohli, being a Delhiite is giving chances to Pant because he is also from the same state. Those fans from Bihar wants Ishan Kishan to fill the position. And if MSK Prasad has his way, then some sub-standard player from Andhra will come up as the replacement for Dhoni.
It is true that keralites are not happy with the team selection, if you look at the amount of exposure and opportunity Pant is getting even with constant failures is frustrating as if there are no other players in India to be picked in that position and Pant might be getting the nod every time may be because they are from the same state, the reason why there is a huge cry for Sanju Samson is because there are not much players that are in contention to play for India but Samson is performing really well for a long time and still he is neglected.

India has given more chances for Pant to perform and i think the pressure to replace Dhoni is affecting his performance, once he understand that he is not going to replace a legendary player like Dhoni then he might play without pressure, he is also missing catches as a keeper and we have much better wicket keepers than him right now and we need to give others a chance rather than putting more pressure on Pant.

Yes, the performance of Rishabh Pant isn't to the expected level. Truly there is big politics within the team. Most of the team players were the one that played for Bangalore Royal Challengers. Sanju Samson could've been given chances in between. Ishan Kishan is playing good, but when they enter the international matches there isn't big performance. Rishabh Pant has been a reason for the loaa of India in several matches. There isn't pressure, because if he has faced pressure now he could've got replaced by someone else.

I agree that Pant needs to be replaced soon though I do not agree that Dhoni won't return since the upcoming T-20 World Cup could be his final tournament.

Yes I think people are expecting too much from Pant. Even before coming to international format he was expected to just come and deliver. He is really feeling the pressure and people are not realizing that he obviously cannot keep like MSD as he had 15 years of experience with him while Pant is just a kid trying to learn he will take his time obviously.
Ashwin is excelling in the T-20 format these days since I hear stories of him performing extremely well in small T-20 leagues these days which is why I fail to see why he shouldn't be brought back into the squad since Kuldeep and Chahal are out of form these days.
I would like to see him play in T20 format and see how he performs, if there is IPL before the world cup and if some of the players perform well in that then there is a possibility that they could be selected for the world cup squad.
I think Ashwin doesn't has some charm delivery using which he can take wicket in just one ball. He actually bowls for a few overs builds pressure using some deliveries and then bangs and get some wickets.

Are you talking about TNPL? That tournament is not up to the standard of global franchise cricket leagues such as the CPL and the BBL. And Ashwin can't play in any other T20 league, as the BCCI rules prohibit him from doing so. He took part in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, but that tournament is also not considered as having high standards.
The point is that his form is great these days no matter how popular the tournament is. He performed well in the recent test series too against Bangladesh and I know that this is his speciality, but he is a seasoned cricketer and deserves to be brought back into the squad.

Sundar is the only spinner who performed really well in the recent T-20 matches for India while Ashwin could back him up nicely.
