I was just watching Liton Das and Tanjid Tamim batting. I was completely unaware that Dhaka Capitals would make such a comeback. I was not only surprised by Dhaka Capitals' form, but I was most surprised by Liton Das' performance. What an extraordinary performance with an extraordinary classic short. It is a matter of luck for a cricket lover to see such an innings. We have seen 250+ runs innings in T20 cricket before, but Dhaka Capitals' 254 runs innings is completely different. I have never seen an innings of 247 runs without any wickets before and this is the first time that a team has managed to score 254 runs with only 1 wicket at the end of the innings. I don't know if any team has managed to do such an innings before, but yesterday's innings is the first I have seen.

We can certainly sympathize with Liton Das. Because, in such a great form, he should have returned before the Champions Trophy squad was announced. A two-year long spell of out-of-form is responsible for keeping him out of the Champions Trophy squad. Maybe he could have been in the squad if he had corrected his mistakes a few more matches ago. Maybe he got enough opportunities to get back into form.

You lost your bet because Sylhet Striker lost the match by a huge margin. Chittagong Kings outstanding performance winning by 30 runs against Sylhet Striker. While chasing down a huge target Sylhet Striker only managed to score 173 runs in a loss of 8 wickets. The man of the Match is Graham Clark for his aggressive batting performance scored 60 runs from just 33 balls and assisted Chittagong Kings to score 200 plus runs total on board. Chittagong Kings bowling performance was outstanding especially Mohammad Wasim Jr Pakistani fast bowler outclass bowling spell picked important wickets by just giving 25 runs and Aliss Islam also picked 2 crucial wickets and restricted Sylhet Striker under low runs.

I disagree. He always gave great captaincy vibes to me since he literally helped 2 teams reach the final out of which they ended up winning one of them(KKR) and he served as an IPL captain 4 teams so far. That's damn impressive.

On top of all this, he helped Mumbai win the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy recently. He is a great T20 captain and has a ton of potential to be a great ODI captain.

Yes that is amazing Rangpur Riders is having very good season and they have not lost any games yet. They are playing very well especially against Fortune Barishal whom they beat twice. Those two wins one by 8 wickets on January 2nd and the other by 3 wickets on January 7th show how strong and consistent Rangpur Riders is. As you said they are only team that has not lost any games this season which means they have good chance of winning championship. But mostly I see that whenever a team won all the matches of a league or tournament they lose the final match. Haha. So let's see what they will do?

Dhaka Capital consecutively lost 6 matches in Bengladesh Premier League competition and all matches they played very bad but after six fail matches Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan both regained their position and form in 18th match against Durbar Rajshahi squad. Dhaka Capital squad performance in batting inning was really superb and made a record in this competition and surpass 250 scores and collecting total 254 scores as a defend. Both Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan batters made a strong partnership with long inning and both entered filed in start of inning and both collected 254 and 105 scores respectively. Durbar Rajshahi already lost this match when they did restrict them at low scores and 254 scores is the biggest target in this competition and Durbar Rajshahi squad just achieved 105 scores and facing bad defeat with 149 scores.

I also agree with it that if we saw the recent performance from Liton Das then we will not able to be satisfied. But have you watched Liton Das' recent Bangladesh Premier League matches? He is performing fairly well there, although it is not comparable to the International League, but his performance is improving.
However, I have doubts about how effectiveness Soumya Sarkar will be as an opener for the Bangladesh team. Because I am not satisfied with his performance in recent matches, except only the score of 73 runs against West Indies. Moreover, his situation is also very similar to Liton Das.

But the current Bangladesh squad is really quite hard to select. As always, after Tamim Iqbal's retirement, I don't see any good openers for the Bangladesh team yet.
