I don't want to take confidence from India A team now. Certainly, Afghanistan is a good team and India will have some cape against the strong bowling unit of Afghanistan. But I don't think India A should take confidence from its batting unit too soon. Because if Afghanistan's bowling unit is strong, I don't think India's batting unit is weak either. Even if you look at the off-field statistics, you will see that the team batting in the second innings in T20 at Al Amerat ground has more advantage. I don't think the match is already one sided. There is room for improvement here for both teams. But I want to put the Afghans forward and I would prefer to put my hands on them. Grin

This can happen if they are targeting long-term goals, but for this to happen, they need to invest consistently in associates countries. It can happen if the ICC can divert some percentage of funds from test playing nations to associate but again ICC need some spine for such action.

On another note, if fans want 20-24 t-20 teams wc so they should get ready for such lopsided matches. It's not ideal but it's part of the solution in the long term and not a problem.

Currently, this idea is not good because we need some improvement then we can go with this which needs time and good strategy even we can't stop this in coming years but still we have huge difference of quality which is increasing day by day.
Currently going with 12 to 16 is OK because these can give some good well-balanced entertainment to fans ICC needs the good number of matches for these associate teams in this format because this will surely increase interest and also improve quality of these countries.

Zimbabwe is a strong team as compared to kenya in T20 format. in this match Zimbabwe won by hugr 61 runs margin against Kenya. while chasing down a target of 164 runs Kenya team only managed to score 102 runs all out and lost the match with huge margin. Zimbabwe bowling performance is outstanding especially Trevor Gwandu who picked 3 important wickets by just giving ten runs with an economy rate of 3 runs per over and Sikandar Raza also bowl well pick up 3 crucial wickets by giving 17 runs. The Player of the Match is Ryan Burl for his amazing batting skills scored a well deserved half century.

I agree Zimbabwe has an advantage because of its experience in T20 and ODI cricket. Other teams like Gambia, Mozambique, Rwanda, and Seychelles have not played much internationally. Zimbabwe players have played top level cricket giving them an edge. This means Zimbabwe can score big like 344 runs which they made aggressively. By the way this tournament helps new teams improve. Zimbabwe should not take their opponents lightly. We know that Zimbabwe is dominant but any team can play well and can learn from mistakes and can make a strong comeback.

Now Indian team is playing the series against New Zealand but New Zealand us giving tough time to Indian batters and we saw great performance by the players of Indian team and SL team is playing well against WI and they have won the series. But I think pitches should be bowling pitches and these will attract more to the audience.

Well Zimbabwe continue his winning streak today too by defeating Kenya with huge margin of 60+ runs which indicates how well their strength and style of play has been improved, I think it's too early to say now they Gona compete top teams easily as mostly when ever they face them in different icc competition or any bilateral series mostly they have same results of named defeated by opponent so they still need to work huge on his weakness and to hunt some new talent. It's true some of thier player are top category player at different league but it's game of team not just for few player

Zimbabwe team played very excellent in this match and gave brilliant target in this match. They gave target of 163 runs and Zimbabwe cricket team won the match easily by 63 runs. Ryan Burl was awarded as player of the match because he was top performer in this match he completed his half-century and made 62 runs in 43 balls.Sikandar Raza also played well and made 27 runs in just 21 balls and last of Zimbabwe team provided good base in this match . Kenya team openers not played well but Lucas Oluoch played well and made 24 runs and no player was able to perform well.
