Selectors have taken the decision by doing proper observation. I don't see the necessity of rethinking about their decision. Have you checked the performance of Litton Das in the last few matches? He hasn't scored above 10 runs in his last 7 ODI matches, his performance isn't good in T20I international matches as well. Big score of 2-3 domestic cricket league match doesn't prove that the player will perform good in big international events.

How is this performance? If we review the past matches, we can easily understand that the Dhaka team does not have good bowlers or good batsmen they lost all the previous matches but what happened in today's match is that they were able to give a target of 254 runs without losing any wickets. The match was so bad that it is not worth saying. One team only batted and the other team only lost wickets and ended the game before the allotted overs. There was no excitement in the match. Moreover, with today's good performance, I cannot be sure that the Dhaka team has really come into form. They have become an unpredictable team. There is no guarantee that Dhaka will win the next match.

Batting against the big target given by Dhaka, Rajshahi may not be successful in the end. I don't understand why people criticize Liton Das for the Dhaka Capital loss ? He did his part, he made 73 runs at a strike rate of 169. What else can he do for his team. If he was a captain of the team we could have blamed him but Dhaka Capital is led by Thisara Perera. The batting from Dhaka Capital was quite reasonable. Munim Shahriar also scored 52 runs and 193 total should have been defended but we can blame the bowlers here.

Talking about the bowling from Dhaka Capital, they gave too many runs. Abu Jayed economy rate was 13 while Shubham Ranjane and Mosaddek Hossain economy rate were over 11. The bowlers failed to bowl with a good line and length.

In yesterday's match, Dhaka supporters thought they might be going for a win in the first match of the BPL 2024-2025 session but it proved a failure as they were defeated for the sixth time in a row.

It is with a heavy heart that I want to say that Dhaka Capitals will not win this year's BPL, rather if they can beat Durbar Rajshahi in today's match, Dhaka Capitals may win first. Do you think Dhaka can take their first win today?

Liton Das played his part well by scoring 73 runs on 43 balls, if you see his strike rate it was 169 which is quite good. Munim Shahriar inning was slow in context of T20, he scored 52 runs on 47 balls with strike rate of 110. If Munim Shahriar had also played with strike rate of 150 then Dhaka would have given a target of over 200 runs.

Also Dhaka bowlers were not able to restrict Sylhet batsmen from scoring runs thats also one reason of Dhaka defeat. Zakir Hasan was extra ordinary with bat as he scored 58 runs on 27 balls.

The run score of 193 was not bad, but Munim Shahria's 47-ball 52 was an ODI style run, not a T20 style. Naturally, if many score like 70 or 80 runs in 47 balls, Dhaka Capital's collection would have been 220+, so it would have been difficult for Sylhet Strikers to meet the target. However I think the bowling department of Dhaka Capitals is not strong especially against any team Dhaka could not deliver the ball well as a result Dhaka Capitals could not stop the opponent from scoring big. In this year's BPL, Mustafizur Rahman is out of form and other bowlers of Dhaka Capital are also not able to deliver well, so the team is winning very easily against Dhaka.
