That was a great match. The Sri Lankan team played well, and the New Zealand team came close to the target. Till the 15^th over, it looked like the match was in the hands of New Zealand, and things changed in the 16^th over as wickets fell as well as scoring getting dropped. In the 16^th over they managed to score just 2 runs. In the 17^th over, it was just 7 runs, and 6 runs came from the 18^th over. If they had added 10 more runs in these overs, it could've been a win for the New Zealand team. The first two matches were played in Bay Oval, in which New Zealand won, and the final match was played in Saxton Oval. Sri Lanka has won the match.

I think New Zealand players took this match very lightly. Maybe they thought that they won the first two matches and they will be able to win the next match in the same way. And that is why it seems that the match planning of the New Zealand team for this match was not that much better and their performance dropped in that proportion. Especially their performance we saw in the bowling lineup in this match dropped.
Anyway, it was beyond my expectation that Sri Lanka would win this match, I never thought that Sri Lanka would be able to score 218 runs, especially against a team like New Zealand. Since Sanath Jayasuriya became the coach of the team, I have seen their performance in cricket well. They did not win this T20 series but their performance has not been ruined. They have come back even after losing two and probably they will recover from that through the ODI series. According to the ICC rankings, Sri Lanka has not been able to dominate T20 cricket much. Their position is eighth at the moment but they are quite good in ODI cricket. Though New Zealand's position is one step ahead, I hope the team will win the series against New Zealand. because the Sri Lankan team is quite good in ODI cricket.

Yeh it's true for a first time in that series SiriLankan able to scored 200+ which indicates thier dominance from start of the game, while surprisingly thier middle order experienced batter scored century through which they get such number on board. To be honest I taught It may be a one sided victory for SiriLankan as they already have huge target also having quality bowlers too which have ability to deliver decent in such crucial situation where things can be restrict from white wash defeat also when it come to chase such huge number mostly batter failed due to pressure mounting situation. but shockingly new Zealand fought hard and give them though time but unfortunately at the end unable to divert results and thus series end with 2-1 lead.
