ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier B has started, with the matches being hosted by Qatar. A total of 3 matches have been completed so far, with Qatar winning over Thailand in the first match. As with usual Asian qualifying tournaments, most of the teams are entirely comprised of foreigners, with Bhutan and Thailand being the only teams with native players. Bhutan lost out to United Arab Emirates in the second match, with Thinley Jamtsho top-scoring for the former with 28 runs.
The ICC Men's Twenty20 Cup Asia Qualifier is being held among the seven countries Qatar, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Bhutan, United Arab Emirates, Cambodia, Bahrain. Of these seven countries, UAE is definitely the strongest team and will therefore always be at the top of the points table.
Today in the third game a competitive match was played between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain where Bahrain defeated Saudi Arabia by three runs. Bahrain batted first and scored 188 runs while Saudi Arabia scored 185 runs against a target of 189 runs and were defeated by three runs.
