In cricket, the top 12 teams get 90% of the ICC funding, and the remaining 100 plus teams need to divide 10% among themselves. Zimbabwe receives $17.7 million in ICC funds every year, while Gambia gets around 0.1% of that amount. It makes no sense to have international matches between such teams.

Qasim Akram played excellent inning in this match and he made 48 runs for his team and he played crutial role to stand big total on board. Yes Pakistan Shaheens played well against Oman scoring 167 runs in 19 overs. It turns out they are Pakistan second team below main national team. This explains why we don't hear about them as much. Beating Oman less experienced team isn't surprising. Still it is exciting to see Pakistan younger players doing well. And finally they have won the match. They made 185 runs in total which is a tough target for Oman. Oman was trying to chase the target but unfortunately they made only 111 runs in 20 overs.
