Yes Gambia team is not much tough team but Zimbabwe team effort was mind blowing and I am shocked Zimbabwe team able to make this big runs and yesterday they made a history and made a world to score big target 344 runs. They made a lot of pressure to Gambia team batsman and they chased down only 54 runs and all wickets they lost and lose the game by 290 runs. Mayers and Burl both these two batsman did not play well and both made only few runs and lost wicket. But sikandar made a fast century and total he 133 runs in 43 balls and hitted seven 4s and fifteen 6s. Clive made half century in 17 balls and hitted three 4s and five 6s. Congratulations Zimbabwe team to win this game with Zimbabwe and Kenya performing well in this series group B and they will qualify in next regional series and both gave same win 4 out of 4 without lose.

It is sad they did not reach 350 but they clearly have a lot of talent. This tournament shows that smaller teams like Zimbabwe and Nepal can compete with best. And surprising things is that they out the whole team of GAMBI at 54 runs which is also impressive. Zimbabwe determination and strength suggest they can handle tough teams. But can they keep playing this well against the strongest teams? I hope Zimbabwe keeps surprising people and makes a big impact. But still people count it as a small team but they can prove that they are not if they will continue that kind of performance.

But if they could have collected just six more runs, it might have been 350. This tournament has many weak teams with Zimbabwe, teams that we have never seen face off against big or strong teams before. When they face strong teams like India Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

I am not very sure whether it was a good move from the ICC to grant international status to all the T20 matches between national teams. Prior to this we had Nepal making 314 against Mongolia. And now we have Zimbabwe making 344 versus Gambia. Cricket is not football. In cricket, the top 12 teams get 90% of the ICC funding, and the remaining 100 plus teams need to divide 10% among themselves. Zimbabwe receives $17.7 million in ICC funds every year, while Gambia gets around 0.1% of that amount. It makes no sense to have international matches between such teams.
Renovation is needed in the ICC funds distribution system to see quality performances from those new cricket teams. They have to take a few more steps to improve the player capability of those teams. This type of matches will make the fun of cricket game. The funny thing is that Gambia has lost the first two matches in walkover method. They were unable to reach on the stadium for documentation issues (flight delayed). I'm wondering what is the actual goal of ICC to arrange the T20I world cup qualifier match with such team.

But there, they will be facing teams such as Namibia, Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi, who are much stronger than Gambia. It's a great fight where SiriLankan team able to get dominance against them and that's turn down to thier second defeat out of they played three matches which indicates a down side signal for them because now they has won thses consecutive two remaining matches in order to be in competition which isn't looking easy as according to thier current moral and performance so I do believe may be we will have SiriLankan and Afghanistan as semifinalists from thier group while from other no doubt Indian and Pakistan will be the string contender.

Sri Lanka played well and beat their opponents for second time in three games which is concern for them. Now they must win their last two games to stay in competition but that can not be easy. I also think Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will make it to semifinals from their group. India and Pakistan are likely to do well in other group. Afghanistan surprisingly lost to Hong Kong today but they have already won two games. They just need one more win to move forward. I have heard very first time about Gambia team. Gambia will lose this match as they have already lost 6 wickets for 54 runs. Zimbabwe's innings was worth watching as you don't see teams scoring 344 runs in a t20 match but since Gambia is a weak team, Zimbabwe took full advantage of this situation.

Talking about the match, Pakistan outclassed in both bowling and batting and was a better team than UAE. Mohammad Haris made an unbeaten 71 runs while Shahnawaz Dahani took 5 wickets and bowled the Oman team on only 65 runs. This was a big win for the Pakistan A team.
