Ireland played well and this is a big achievement for them. You can't compare these two teams. There is like a 20x difference in funding. Ireland is now a test nation, and for them funding is in line with the other test nations like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. No such luck for the Dutch. They are still an associate nation, and therefore the funding is only a fraction of what Ireland get. And this is being reflected in their performance. In the recent series with Thailand women also the Dutch performance was less than satisfactory. Compared to that, the men's team is doing relatively well (qualified for the 2023 ODI World Cup).

Ireland women's players performed so well today that it was a very happy moment for the spectators. Only three of the Netherlands women were batting normal but the next batsmen performed very poorly. And the fall of wickets was the highest since the powerplay close, due to which the Dutch players could not stay on the field. And Ireland managed to win due to good performances winning two matches in a row. Especially I have seen in two consecutive matches Ireland's bowling performance is very good spinners and fast bowlers pace is very natural which can easily prevent the opposition players.

Now bringing old players in while-ball format is surely not good as we need more space for the new generation and keep these legendary players in IPL and test format for the rest of their career because from there we need new blood which will keep flag high and surely positive results will also start soon as they will have more matches against big teams.
