I would call this a one man show from Shubman Gill who took Gujarat Titans to the finals. He alone scored 129 runs and was a difference between the two teams.

Both the openers from MI , Rohit Sharma and Nehal Wadhera went out cheaply making things even more difficult for the team.

Gujarat Titans is currently doing a great performance, this team has been able to perform really commendably in some matches of the past few days. In the last match, Mumbai Indians were not able to defeat this team as Gujarat Titans gave a massive run target. Mumbai Indians were defeated while chasing a much bigger target.

You are right on the second part. Gill reminds me of Kohli a decade ago. Bowling was always going to be a big worry for the Mumbai Indians, and one of the negatives on being too dependent on younger players is that they can be very inconsistent. Akash Madhwal performed exceptionally in the previous match, but he completely flopped yesterday. Jason Behrendorff was the only MI bowler who had a decent economy rate. Everyone else went for plenty. Chris Jordan failed once again, and I really don't know why the MI management persisted with him after repeated failures. They could have given chances to Jhye Richardson or Duan Jansen.

I was expecting the final between Rohit and Dhoni. But the journey of Mumbai has ended in front of a huge target. Green and Suryakumar played a decent innings, where Rohit's performance was flop in the whole IPL season. MI couldn't qualify for the final for his poor performance and captaincy. I wouldn't be surprised if Rohit Sharma lose his position permanently from India national team. Some young players have performed very well in this IPL.

The video was an animation video where two characters were meant in the video one of the animation characters was Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the other character was Hardik Pandya. They were talking to each other and their conversation was like that Hardik Pandya was telling MS Dhoni that,

At that time I took this video only as a joke but now that video has become a reality. That means Gujarat Titans and CSK qualified for IPL 2023 finals.

This match is pretty much over if you ask me. Placed a live bet on GT though the odds were pretty low a couple of minutes ago. Gill was playing well throughout this season, but he went berserk in recent matches scoring century after century.
MI will probably score above 200, but they won't reach the target thanks to Rashid, Shami etc.

Surely not a good look for Mumbai. They needed everyone to have a crack tonight but it's not happening atm. The run rate is under control tho but still needs a blinder.

Against LSG we didn't see a good performance from Mumbai's batsmen but their bowlers did well. But the performance of Mumbai bowlers in today's match was horrible. After Gujarat scored 233 I was sure we will see Gujarat vs Chennai final. Along with the bowlers, the performance of the Mumbai batsmen today is also poor as usual. Mumbai collected 161 runs in 16 overs. But they lost 7 wickets. There is no chance for Mumbai to win at the moment.

Mumbai batsmen are very experienced and are in very good form now. Also, today's pitch is batting-friendly pitch. After that, batting to a target of 234 runs and winning doesn't seem possible to me. Maybe Mumbai players will be able to collect runs like 190-200. They will probably lose by 20-30 runs. But if the two Mumbai openers can build a big partnership then the match is likely to be in Mumbai's control.
