Two players of the Pakistani team, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, have a big responsibility. Victory and defeat depend on them. As a result i think their normal batting is disrupted due to the additional pressure of the team along with his own batting. But I think SR can be increased if two or three good and reliable batsman like them add to the team. I believe any batsman will do well if he can play without pressure. If I see the SR of few Indian T20 players first Ishan Kishan his SR is 132, Rishabh Pant 147 and Suryakumar Yadav 136. I agree with you that Rizwan should try to increase his SR.

This was a fascinating match. A very competitive match as well. I thought that the Brisbane Heat would win and that they would have a high total. I thought they were going to be very confident and they would probably successfully be able to defend that total as well. But I was wrong. Adelaide Strikers women have played very well. All the players of the Adelaide Strikers understood the task at hand very thoroughly. Except for Mack and Laura, every one of the Adelaide Strikers played really well. They did not waste a single ball. They started playing attacking cricket from the start and eventually, it was a very convincing win for them.

Collins Obuya is the last remaining member of the Kenyan squad that played in the 2003 ODI World Cup. Now he is 41 years old. Younger people may not know this, but in 2003, Kenya surprised everyone by reaching the semi-finals of the world cup. I absolutely love Rizwan the WK batter for his consistency but in T-20 he needs to up his game drastically as far as SR is concerned. In modern T-20 cricket, it's a crime for an opener to have a 126 SR after playing 80 matches.

If he can improve his SR, let's say 140-145 with an average of 40-ish or even 38-ish then he would be a more dangerous T-20 player.

I have said this before and I am going to say this again. Pakistan can not depend on certain players to do all the jobs. The Pakistani team must come out of the mentality of thinking that they have a few world-class players and are always able to perform regardless of what happens. If they cannot find players who can perform at any given time in any given format of cricket, they will find it very difficult to succeed. In the short form of the game, Pakistan is finding it difficult to cope with it. And they will have to do that quickly because it is only a matter of time before ODI cricket also loses its importance. I think very soon it will be only the T20 and T10 formats ruling the cricketing world.

I am not saying that Babar Azam or Rizwan is a disgraceful player. I am just saying that these two cannot carry Pakistan in every match.

Did any of you saw the match results of Kenya vs Botswana. In the one off tournament Botswana have scored 116/6 in 20 overs. Kenya have reached the target in 11.3 overs losing just 2 wickets. I took this to convey that among the small teams they've got aggressive performance coming out. Obuya of Kenya have scored 74 runs of 39 balls. Seems like he's the Suryakumar Yadav of Kenya.

Perhaps they cannot find any topic to discuss. And so we see a discussion about football in the T20 thread. However we should be more regular. The India vs New Zealand T20 series has just ended. And now Women's Big Bash League is being held. We can discuss this. But not many people are very interested in women's cricket. I think we should keep an eye on women's cricket now as well as men's cricket. Because gradually women's cricket is becoming quite popular.

Haha it seems like many of us are having fun with the Football Tournament well thats good we need something to spend time on and entertainment too but i think as my dear fellow said above we need to Catagories it, this is T20I thread so be consistent and post good cricket stuff.

Let's not mix the football world cup in this cricket discussion thread, however, there are upsets in every sport and therefore we witness a few upsets in the T20 world cup and the same upsets being observed in the Fifa world cup. Small teams usually do not beat the big teams, but when they do, most of gamblers lose their bet as people usually bet on the stronger team and do not take risks with the underdog teams.

By the way, sometimes we witness that weather takes the control of the series and teams can't do anything. We saw only one of the match to be fully completed and two matches drawn due to rain and bad weather in the NZ India series.

There is no doubt now twenty/20 format is very fast game and it needs quick changes if you are not going to have adopted this then surely you are going out of the competition very quickly things are having drastically change just watch England how they adopt new changes and now ruling in white ball format which is surely amazing stuff right now Pakistan is doing good job just because of their bowling in batting they need to improve their technique and style which must if they want to have positive results because if they are not going to have any improvement then surely they can fall out badly in coming years.

Mohammad Rizwan is doing good job but alone he can't handle things every time they must need to improve their middle order and having few power hitters like India is having in recent time specially SKY who is doing amazing job, and he can do this for many years with his technique and style which is best in current time.

Players are usually divided in cricket. Especially the player who plays well in T20, board tries to keep him in T20 format. Rizwan is basically a T20 batsman. He may not have played well in a few matches but he is actually a regular batsman in Pakistan's T20 squad. If we look at his statistics then that can be easily understood.

Not only Rizwan, Babar Azam need to improve his batting skills. Both Babar and Rizwan scoring rate is low and do agree that that's the reason why Pakistan middle order lineup is struggling in T20. Both Rizwan and Babar score 60 runs in 10 overs and middle order in last over have to score runs. That's why players like Asif Ali are not performing.

The kind of batting that Mohammad Rezwan is doing in T20 matches, I don't think that kind of batting is effective for high scoring matches. When a team's opening batsman gets off to such a slow start, it puts a lot of pressure on the rest of the batsmen. I think Rezwan should improve his batting ability in T20 format, otherwise Pakistan team management might look at finding a more effective opening batsman. Because in modern T20 cricket, everyone is constantly trying to make their team better, so now there is a lot of pressure on all teams. Because if a team is not strong in all departments it is difficult to go far with only bowling. Pakistan realized that in the final match as well.

I can't agree with that Rizwan plays well in ODIs format  than  T20 format . His game may have been poor recently but you can't consider this performance to be his whole career. If you looks his statics you will saw that he is doing far better in T20 format from ODI format. Strike rate ,run , Average run total match In almost all of them, he is in the better position of the T20 format.  I think you are wrong somewhere that he plays better in ODI series than T20.

Both of them were basically giants in T20 cricket. Once they started talking on the bat, it wouldn't stop. Any score would not have been a big hurdle for them. De Villiers' performance here has been consistent, but Chris Gayle has not played well continuously. The day when he played well was very good. Most of the time he get the advantage for his branding. But his number of fans was very high. When he was in a team, he was criticized more positively. He was always a source of fear for the opposing team. But there are some cricketers who play well but their name does not get much publicity. Suryakumar Yadav's performance in the last New Zealand India 2nd T20I was really appreciable.

Spirited Adelaide Striker fighted back and done amazing job through their power hitters Deandra Dottin 39 from 21 balls through 3 sixes and then Bridget Patterson 45 from 26 man of the match performance from another power hitter Laura Wolvaardt 47 of 45 this was heartbreaker for the Brisbane Heats as they were dominating but at the end lost this close encounter, and now they have to wait for another season for having place into final two were now we have Sydney Sixers vs Adelaide Strikers on 26 November.

Now final is going to be the most exciting match of this season as both top rank teams are already in and their firepower is waiting for giving their best for this season's title which could end in any way.

I have no complaints about Mohammad Rizwan's performance. He is an amazing batsman. He is capable of playing well in both T20 and ODI formats. But the problem is that he doesn't play well regularly. His performance must be consistent. As far as I know Rizwan's strike is more than 120 in the night. That's not bad either. However, if compared to Suryakumar or Gayle, Mohammad Rizwan will be quite a bit behind. However, Pakistan's batting line-up was never very strong. Pakistan continued their good run largely thanks to the excellent performance of their bowlers.

Mohammad Rizwan actually plays well in ODIs. But they have to work very hard to do well in T20. Because T20 game has to be played very fast. AB de Villias is one of the players for T20. Another player is Chris Gayle.

Well i think such situations promote the game and spirit of the game as a low ranked team when play excellent against a champion then this proves we are in a legit game as in Sports you never know haha sounds like crypto you never know. But thats the fact win or lose game is game.
