Is this some SEO issue?

I tried just now and it showed another result "talking":

<...>
if you click "Search instead for talkimg " it will show talkimg in the first result

It's not an SEO issue; that's just Google trying to be "smart." Since the word "talkimg" is very similar to "talking," Google treats it as a typo and prioritizes results related to "talking" first. That's why you get the "Search instead for talkimg" suggestion below.

To work around this, you can put "Talkimg" (with quotes) in the search, and it will display the correct results from the get-go.

Shouldn't the Upload and Reset button function as the same thing because when I finished uploading one image, I try to press upload but it doesn't prompt me to the upload function, I always have to press the Reset. Anyways, it's a minor inconvenience for me only so I don't mind that it's changed but I just want to say something about it and let people be aware of it.

In reality, they are different functions.

The upload button opens the upload tab, which after uploading the image displays the image data.
To be able to send a new image, you have to re-load this tab, that's why there is the reset.

Imagine that the "upload" button opens a new page, where everything is then managed.

Maybe the best thing was to change the name of the "reset" button? What do you guys think?
The problem is it doesn't prompt me to upload a new image, it just shows a dropdown list, try to upload an image and then click the Upload, that's what I'm talking about. I don't really mind if you don't change it and I think the reset is just fine. I shouldn't complain that much considering I use it for free.

I think that's how it should work. When you upload one image (or several at once), your next step is to select and copy the embed codes that you'll use on the forum. Now, imagine that you forget to copy the codes and accidentally click somewhere on the website, closing the upload tab. You'd have no way to go back (unless you're logged in), and you'd have to upload the same image again. That's why the Upload button was designed to show you the codes for the already uploaded image again.

If you want to upload new images, you don't have to click on "RESET"; instead, you can simply click on the TALK[img] logo or refresh the website. This will start a new session, and the Upload button will revert to its primary functionality again.

Hello @Joker_josue, I just notice that searching talkimg on google for the first time doesn’t gave the exact website as result on seach. It happened to me when I try to search talkimg on my new device. I check carefully the url so I’m sure it’s correct. The only time I manage to search the website is when I visit by using the forum links that you provide on this ann thread.

This is yet another good reason to use DuckDuckGo instead of Google. It respects your privacy and will give you results without modifying your search. (and if you need google results, just add " !g" at the end of your search for example, the !Bang system is great if you have this search engine as your default search engine)

Be my guest! I like to hear the opinions of users, and when possible improve their experience.

But, now I don't understand the point you want to highlight.  Huh Can you try to explain again, please?

You should design a signature and host a signature campaign that promotes the website for free, I would gladly promote it for free, I'm not in any signature campaign so I won't mind.

If you want, you can use the sig that was created for this purpose, which you can find here:

Surprisingly, the error which i saw yesterday no longer appears on my Firefox when I click on the links, but It has persisted on Tor browser. I just tested the links on the rest of other browsers (Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera etc.) and all is good.

As I explained in my previous post, I am currently unable to further improve the experience via Tor. Am sorry.
I hope in the future to improve. But at this point I can't promise when that will happen.

Is this some SEO issue?

SEO is not having any problems. But as @bitmover commented, Google has a habit of trying to correct words, and that can lead to this situation.
In addition, as the site has a very specific target audience, it ends up reducing the probability of appearing more often in general searches.

Yes. On Tor browser, I also this too:

Yeah... I get it. But, sorry, I can't improve the settings for Tor browsers at the moment. I am sorry for that. Sad
But, once again, I inform you that I do not collect any user data. Only the IP is associated with the uploaded images. So just use VPN and you will be safe.
I'm sorry, but right now it's the best I can do.

That's really kind of philipma1957 to donate that much btc to you and to promote your site.  Now I feel like an absolute freeloader, seriously.  Funds are so tight right now that donating to anything isn't an option, but I'm going to write a note down in my little bitcointalk journal to do so if my financial situation improves.  Until then, keep up the great work man.  It's definitely appreciated.

Not I, said the fly.  And I just used your site to host several images a couple of hours ago, and I've used it a number of times since you created it (and again I say, hail joker_josue!!).

I am not sure if we have had this kind of problem before. So I tried viewing images in these links and this is what I get.

- https://www.talkimg.com/images/2023/08/03/GdzOw.png

I'm seeing everything normally. It was probably a loading error on the part of the browser.

See how it looks here:

Basically there's some slight slowdown when you're trying to copy links or scroll up/ down. This also happens before uploading any image.

I tested and it seems to only affect the Brave browser. Chrome and Firefox seems to work fine.

Thanks for the info, I'll try to see if I can make some adjustments.

It is not always easy, that the sites have the same performance in all browsers. Despite the way the site is built, it should behave the same in all browsers. But, all it takes is a browser update for that to change.

I'll see if I can do something.

Performance break in what sense?
Does this happen when you try to upload a specific image or all images?

I just took a test, and everything seems normal. Remember that the larger the image, the longer the upload takes. Furthermore, the loading time depends a lot on your internet connection and/or the speed of your VPN.

Anyone else felt any changes in the performance of the site?

Hey josue, I noticed the website suffers a performance hit the moment it loads, even worse after uploading an image.

Most probably some intense background elements at play.

Could you look into this?

On this you can rest assured, there will only be one announcement, just as it is now.

The idea of the advertisement is to support the project, and therefore it cannot harm the project.
Therefore, I will do everything to keep it simple and without disturbing users.

First is the user experience and then comes the rest. I want it to remain simple and practical for everyone. An advertiser who does not want to respect this will not be accepted!
You have good intentions for your customers and it's indeed a good motive. Having so many advertisements will make the website complex and difficult to navigate through. I also know that you also need funds to finance the project. But everything should be done in moderation to keep the quality of the website intact. But the Duelbit advert was well positioned, designed, and arranged. Thanks to the duelbit team for choosing to support the talkimg project. It was a project that was born out of the desire to solve the problem of the community.
