Careful… someone might as well report the tags to block the ad on your website to the user maintaining uBlock and similars. Grin
It's trivial for me to right click and hide anything I want with uBlockOrigin, but I am not using any adblocker on bitcointalk forum and I won't use them on TalkImg website.
For all other websites I can't function normally on internet without uBlock or DNS ad blocking, maybe that is why youtube is preparing to disable watching any videos for people who block ads...  you will watch ads and be happy  Cool

Either way, I believe that the banner is not too intrusive in the normal use of the site, not bothering users.
There is no problem so far, but please don't fill everything with bunch of new ads in future. Wink

Even BitcoinTalk was once added with its own tags, and funnily enough this broke a few threads: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5284063

Well remembered, the person can actually use the tag to create a rule in the adblock, so that the ad does not appear. But I can't do much about that. I can change the name of the tag or something like that, but the person can always analyze the code and create the rule.

What I meant is that as I don't follow the traditional advertising system - nor do I want to follow it, these blocking systems don't do it automatically. The user must create a specific rule.

Either way, I believe that the banner is not too intrusive in the normal use of the site, not bothering users.

New ad is looking great and it doesn't create a lot of distractions because it's only added on main page, but most important thing (for you) is that Duelbits advertisement can be seen even with my uBlock origin extension turned on, and this doesn't happen so often Wink

It's the advantage of not using cookies, tracking systems, and the like.
I'm using the old style simple banner linking to a website. Cool

I inform that I was contacted by Duelbits, to support the project. And in that sense, over the next few weeks, there will be a Duelbits banner on the site.

I want to thank Duelbits for supporting TalkImg, and @Hhampuz for taking care of everything.

This happens because when you are loading an image, it opens as a popup that scores the whole site.
After uploading, when clicking the "upload" button or reloading the page, this pop-up closes and no longer appears like this.
That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
Actually, I had no clue how it was happening. I thought it might be a glitch or any kind of error. Just wanted to help.

Cheers!

After uploading the image.

This is with Edge browser. I tried google chrome and Firefox as well. The footer is unreadable on google chrome and Firefox. It's just a blank black page in google chrome and Firefox.

Congratulations, joker_josue, for getting the first sponsor of talkimg. I believe this will help you to improve your website further.
I was uploading a screenshot today and noticed something in the footer that I can barely read. Then I go back to the homepage, and it's fine on the home page. Here is how it looks;

It looks good and doesn't distract from the user interface

Yes. Thanks to @jayce for creating an integrated banner with the site.

I hope to create my own personal account so that the photos I upload are in my personal gallery.

To have an account, just send me a PM.

It looks good and doesn't distract from the user interface

With Duelbits joining as the first Sponsor of Talk[img], this proves that Talk[img] is very worthy to be the main image hosting for Bitcointalk forum.

I am slowly switching from Postimg to Talk[img] because Talk[img] is faster and simpler to upload photos.

I hope to create my own personal account so that the photos I upload are in my personal gallery.

Dude, joker_josue , sorry if I have not done any mistake, then I am getting only login option in https://www.talkimg.com/but I can't see any signup button on https://www.talkimg.com/ !
Or the option to sign up here missing or removed?
If you want an account you have to send a PM[1] to joker_jouse requesting it. There's no active mechanism in the website that allows you to signup automatically.
Follow this process, all are ok but after clicking upload for getting the URL then it's shows this message. Or if I did any mistake ?
Are you sure that you copied the full code? If so, try to follow this little guide[2] to make sure you're making everything correctly. Also, you don't appear to have a API key, perhaps that is part of the issue? The code uses the API key that you're supposed to enter in order to upload to your account.

1. Copy the code below.
2. Destination -> custom -> Import from clipboard -> Put your API key where it says "API-KEY-HERE"

Plus, if you'd like, you could directly place this information right into the website which probably has more views than the thread, thus increasing its visibility.

Following this suggestion, it is now possible to see the volume of donations made on the website.
This was done using the API, developed by @bitmover, thank you.

Soon I will also make some changes in the OP.

Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation. They will be very useful for the continuation of the project.

EDIT:
I suggest that you add this url, instead of thread:
Code:
bitcoin:bc1qhwnncpdd8gfzqwjkk9n052wf7g9mvks3xaa7qa

This url will automatically open the default wallet with your address (mobile and desktop)

I also applied this suggestion!  Wink

I'll give a little suggestion, maybe if the uploaded image has a small watermark in the corner of the image it can attract sponsors, because I'm sure the uploaded image on talkimg will be seen a lot in this forum.

Thanks for the suggestion.
This is really what other similar services do. But, also from what I observe, most users would not put that information. Therefore, I believe it would not be much more efficient.

I think that for an advertiser here on the forum, it would be good, since it would be like a forum sig but on the site. It may be that, as the project continues to grow, it will attract the attention of sponsors. It's still only 2 months old, so be patient, I think someone will be interested.  Smiley

 Statistics June 2023____________________
After two months of operations, I want to once again take advantage of all the support that the community has given to this project.
The numbers prove it, thank you very much.

Here are the numbers for the month of June and totals:

Number of uploads in June: 10.041
Total number of images uploaded: 28.477

 Total disk space occupied:
 7.4GB

Number of visits to the talkimg.com website in June: 3.177
 Bandwidth in June: 404GB

Hi @joker_josue

If I look at the visitor statistics, which are only 3,177, I think that's quite a bit. Yes .. maybe because visitors only come when uploading images, so the number of visits is small

But are you sure that the number of visitors talkimg will be able to attract sponsors? I've never had a web for image hosting so I don't know the sponsor prospects for this web model. But managing the web like talkimg will cost a lot.

I'll give a little suggestion, maybe if the uploaded image has a small watermark in the corner of the image it can attract sponsors, because I'm sure the uploaded image on talkimg will be seen a lot in this forum.

But if you do, maybe bitcointalk members don't really like it. I'm just giving a suggestion

Sorry if my advice isn't great

But how were you thinking I would do that?
Simple.
Just write amount of donations you received each month.
For example in July you received total of 0.1 BTC (in theory) from multiple different user transactions.
You don't have to write each amount, addresses, etc, just write that you received 0.1 BTC worth $3031 and you thank everyone who donated.
This is just example what I would do, but you can do whatever you want Wink

bitcoindata.science

This would ease some of your work since the balance would update automatically[1] (please correct me if I'm wrong bitmover) and users could directly see how donations are going. Plus, if you'd like, you could directly place this information right into the website which probably has more views than the thread, thus increasing its visibility.

Thanks for mentioning my project.
This is correct,  the balance updates automatically (once the transaction is confirmed)

Joker_josue,  I noticed that your donation address in your website has a link to this thread.

I suggest that you add this url, instead of thread:
Code:
bitcoin:bc1qhwnncpdd8gfzqwjkk9n052wf7g9mvks3xaa7qa

This url will automatically open the default wallet with your address (mobile and desktop)
