This option is actually available before the upload, when everything is still being handled locally.
Also, it would only work if you only upload one image at a time. However, it is possible to send several images at the same time. So in reality, it would be more work for the user and eventually take longer for someone who doesn't want to make any changes.
I hadn't thought of the use case where a user makes several uploads at once. When that happens, for sure my recommendation isn't that great and it makes more sense to implement a suggestion similar to the one discussed/shared by LoyceV...

Here's another suggestion: Why not automatically display this window after uploading the image?:

Therefore, I suggest that the site be translated into different languages, especially since it does not contain much content and may be available in languages other than English.

The site is now available in several languages. It's true that maybe some aspects of the site may not be translated, because of some modifications I've made.
Perhaps, I will readjust this and provide a way for anyone who wants to collaborate in the translation.

Thank you joker_josue for this great initiative and for continuing to work on development with other great members.

Unfortunately, I am not in a position that authorizes me to contribute to the development, and my capabilities do not go beyond translating this topic into my local language (I have already done so) and submitting reports about any problems while using the site.

In the same context, I believe that the project, with the support it receives from bitcointalk community, is even able to compete with the major image hosting sites on the Internet, such as imagebb and imagur. Therefore, I suggest that the site be translated into different languages, especially since it does not contain much content and may be available in languages other than English. Members who wish to support the project can contribute to the translation of the site, just like those who support it through donations. I can help with this by launching a voluntary translation campaign or by bringing it up to [AOBT] The Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators, of which I am a member.
I do not know what technical challenges this initiative presents, but I am convinced that it will support the site as well as facilitate the service for members, since not everyone is fluent in English.

What do you think about having a button under the "x" with the edit symbol?
Sounds good, try it Smiley
Here's another suggestion: Why not automatically display this window after uploading the image?:

I think this would suit both users: Those that do not want to edit the dimensions would simply click on the "Submit" button (the same number of clicks that they would do without this window) and those users who are interested in resizing could do it instantly. That way you'll save an extra click for the "Edit" symbol and I think that the User experience wouldn't be too much affected (plus I think it would be easier for you to implement this).

So is site under some maintenance or any other issue I am facing at my end?

The site is not under maintenance, nor do I have any errors registered in the log.  Undecided
Everything working normally.

Did it only happen with this image, or with all the ones you try to send?
Was this image larger than 2.5MB? Was the image JPG, PNG or GIF?

Can you send me that image in another way, so I can test it?

You have to do this before clicking on the upload.
And yes, you have to click on the thumbnail that appears before uploading.
Ok, ok.. I see now that edit appears when I hover the mouse over image.
Instead of doing this I was think image first needs to be uploaded and then clicked on it.  Tongue
Maybe you could add a small text below image (resize?) saying that image can be resized like this.

That's not very intuitive, I wouldn't have guessed it. Maybe a "click to edit" message can make it more obvious.

I like that it keeps the aspect ratio.

I tried it several times but only pop-up page is opened for me when I click on image, and I don't see anything for changing image size, only the links are available.

TIPS FOR
When uploading, before pressing the upload button, you can edit the size of the image. To do so, just click on the thumbnail image that appears on the screen and a popup will open for editing.

In the popup you should have the option to resize the image, as shown in the image above.

When you select the image, it generates a thumbnail, clicking on the image opens a pop-up to edit the image size. Wink

TalkImg only has upload, sign in, language and about options in the top corner. Why is there no sign up menu?
For images that have been uploaded, can they be taken when the user is not saving on a computer, camera or smartphone?

Entries are limited to forum users. That if they want to have an account, they should contact me, for analysis.´

If you save the link to the images, you can download them later.

Quite satisfied I use image hosting using TalkImg.com
The appearance is simple with the typical Bitcoin color combined with white writing.

The first image I uploaded to get the link on the talkimg.com site is an attempt to participate in the Pizza Day celebration.
Previously I used imgbb to upload images.

Ok thanks!
I'll revisit my browser settings. I know when I'm on mobile I accept every cookies for every browser. Since TalkImg has no cookie system, maybe it inherited from previously visited sites.

Hello JJ!
Sorry, I have not been following the conversation here, I don't know if it has been discussed.
After uploading an image and copied the BB code and leave. Maybe after 2days when I return to upload another image, I'll still see the BBcode of the previous images I uploaded in the text field.
Any special reason to make it so?
It takes my time figure out the previous images and delete them or to know the current one to copy.
Is the only solution to hit the Reset button at the top right corner?

I don't think file name change should be related with metadata, that is information within file itself and it can be removed with some exif cleaners even if filename stays the same.

Another question, what happened with image file resizer?
I think I remember there was an option to enter new size manually before clicking the Upload button.

Then. I also see no harm in keeping the same name, but some users have asked to change it.
Now, I'm in the dilemma of choosing a shape!  Roll Eyes Undecided

From now on, all uploads will be named by names randomly assigned by the system.
I hope this makes it easier to avoid metadata in the image name.  Wink

Other users, what do they prefer:
- original name + random
- random
Random name upload works just fine for me.
