presstabs block explorer and yobit are forked to hell. yobit was notified multiple ways very early and has been contacted multiple times now since and never replies. check blockexperts get on the right chain and latest version and stop using yobit and presstabs site. good luck.

Good luck? What do you mean with that? What about you responsibility to contact Bittrex/Poloniex to get TEK a decent exchange?

Good luck? It sounds as if you are abandoning the ship...

Joebewan your wallet script is written for Windows ?

M33 I am not a coder, I believe that was Enema who wrote the script.
I am not a coder either, m33 send me the monitor script and this little gem was posted earlier :

Stake difficulty is HIGH.  I don't get why folks stake at this rate.  It has to be microwtakers letting their wallets run amuck. They would do so much better by combining their holdings and letting difficulty settle. I don't get it.

I am only staking when the difficulty is low.
I am using that script to control staking :

Code:
import pyjsonrpc
import time

http_client = pyjsonrpc.HttpClient(
    url = "http://127.0.0.1:18514",
    username = "tekcoinrpc",
    password = ""
)

pos_diff_limit = 0.001

while True:
    pos_diff = info = http_client.call("getinfo")["PoS difficulty"]
#    print pos_diff

    if pos_diff > pos_diff_limit:
        res = http_client.call("reservebalance", True, 99999999)
    else:
        res = http_client.call("reservebalance", False)

    time.sleep(60)

it will activate staking on the wallet only if PoS diff is under pos_diff_limit.
you can put 0.00006 but I doubt difficulty will go down.

someone told me tek.presstab.pw is on the wrong chain. can anyone confirm if it is on the wrong chain?
It was me, tek.presstab.pw on old version and may soon go to wrong chain.

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/TEK/nodes.php
Old version connections more and more every day. If you have new version it will be conversely.

Now it is happen, tek.presstab.pw is on the wrong chain (old version), Yobit also on old chain.
Cryptopia and https://www.blockexperts.com/tek on main 2.4.1 chain.

@Noise23 @PressTab @Biomech, have we forked ?

Dunno. It does sound like it, but I find it hard to believe that presstab wouldn't be up to date. He's awful busy with school, but he's pretty hardcore about being prompt.

"Protocol Version 60008"

Sad

Might need more consistent checkpointing from the dev to prevent this... it also appears the values that have been changed can be changed manually and recompiled.  It seems likely to me that someone actively manipulating the difficulty might be aware of this, essentially negating the 'fork'.  Just a thought Cheesy
the disconnection was anounced
There was no real hardfork, only some values of the code got changed.
The code of the old wallet can be changed so it connects to the new clients by anyone who has some skills.
Likewise the new wallet can be changed to any split and recombine value you like.

Anyone using the new wallet should be on the right chain.
Anyone using the old wallet with non mod code will end up on the wrong chain.

Price is low but  nobody is selling

I went to the YoBit support and gave them the Fork information again. But I have to say, I have an open support ticket with them from the 26th of March that they have never responded to.  I don't have a lot of confidence in YoBit.  Once (if) they get there crap updated I am bailing out of Yobit. They suck.

there is a vote on best POS coin with only 3 votes for TEK coin, which is not a measure of it's real value as a POS coin, so without trying to be too pushy I think some more votes would be in order.

At least consider voting if you haven't already and I am sure more votes for TEK will help it's status as well as perhaps encourage more people to buy in.

Thanks.
Voted - thanks for the link!

I voted too. Thanks for sharing this link. I support TEKcoin for long term even though, at times it may seem a little disappointing to see price go all the way south. I wonder why? Just checked coinmarketcap and price has been reduced by -55.59% Such great coin deserves a good price, but anyways this could only mean to buy more cheap TEK!  Cheesy

my magic is growing strong[er]

Guys, after my stake this time around, (and only at lil bit above 19%), for the first time I'm kinda getting that early 'hockey stick graph' feeling of upwards thrust. It's really quite exciting since I have built up my TEK slowly and only interjecting small amounts (that I've bought off exchange at those times I was getting a little impatient with the staking results) cause I wanted to have this very feeling I'm having now, you know that excitement that you worked diligently and patiently waiting, staking, waiting, staking and  seeing your balance increase... very small at first, looking at a flat lined graph for a long time, and only a couple TEK but keeping at it you know. Haha this feeling is priceless, and its only the beginning of my 'hockey stick curvature'  Cheesy   Viva compounding interest!  Grin

If you send coins, always send first small amount for testing.

I warning presstab long ago and send support tickets to yobit about new version and wrong chain, but no reaction.
