Could be fatigue setting in but otherwise Tsitsipas at hard surface is probably very ok draw for ATP 1000 series final. Especially after already winning against Nadal, FAA and Norie. Should be a good match and I plan to watch it tonight.

WTA: Kvitova vs Garcia finals will be some attacking masterpiece. Both players just go all out attacking while have decent defensive skills as well. Garcia will be looking to get to the net more often to shorten the rallies as Kvitova is very comfortable from the baseline and would probably be better at it. Should be interesting affair. I'd give it to Kvitova to win but Garcia has surprised us all until now.

Coric really made a fantastic result in this tournament:

All of us here in Croatia, his fans, ask ourselves the same question: "How did Coric suddenly start playing so well and winning after being nowhere for so long?" Grin

This situation almost reminds me of Ivanisevic's performance in Wimbledon 2001 and his unexpected winning of that GS.
We all know that Coric was a great talent in world tennis and a former twelfth player in the world, but after a shoulder injury he was nowhere to be seen for a long time and no one expected great results from him.
A truly great and unexpected return to the top of world tennis.

But then didn't watch the third as I thought he had it under control.
As you had said the favorites lost and Coric is on to the finals to meet up with Tsitsipas.
Unbelievable set of events to end up with these two in the final at Cinnci.

For all who have made a bet over the huge underdog @3.34 can now enjoy the win. All who stood on Tsitsipas are really lucky enough to make a good profit. As said it is really hard to predict the outcome of the match. From the very beginning to the end of the match real fight for the sets were undoubtedly the best in all means. With the win of 7⁸-6⁶, 3-6, 6-3 Tsitsipas move to the finals.

This does make for an unforeseen match up in this tournament's finals with Medvedev facing off against the winner of Norrie/Coric match happening right now.

Garica also will be in the finals tomorrow and has progressed in the last few months very nicely.
Seen her beat all of her opponents to win the Poland open last month.

That is a good odds indeed for Norrie, and I wouldn't be surprised if it goes to 1.6x something before the game start. Coric though seems to be riding on a momentum so I have him winning at least 1 set.

The dude needs professional psychological support. It reminds me of Federer who also said that during his early years he wasn't able to handle his emotions and hence gave away games that he should have won under normal circumstances. Kyrgios can play amazing tennis, there is no doubt about that. But throwing away game after game just because he is going nuts over and over again really kind of destroys his career. Federer, Nadal and Djokovic have proven over and over again that keeping your mind under control is at least half the battle you have to fight on the court. They are mental monsters. That is the main difference compared to someone like Kyrgios and also Zverev at times.

Coric played very well a few years ago, he beat top players and won tournaments, and at one point he was the 12th player in the world.
Everyone predicted a great tennis career for him, but then he suffered an unfortunate shoulder injury, which prevented him from playing for a long time, and then he lost confidence, started losing against weaker players and had to start all over again.
It is always very difficult to return to the top of world tennis, but it seems that Coric is now both physically and mentally ready for the biggest things Cheesy

I think everybody expected a lot more, but that is what happens quite a lot with these "young talents". They rise to the top and play a couple of very good tournaments and than for some reason, they fade away a bit (is it the pressure or something else, I don't really know).
