Čilić should be an excellent pick for today, his head to head with Ćorić is perfect 7:0. Then there is a fact that Ćorić is still getting back from complicated shoulder injury and just recently started playing a bit like his old self.

Odds are very generous and I am sort of worried that bookies maybe have some information that isn't publicly available.

Congratulations to Kyrgios for his first win of the year. At the tournament in Washington he finally showed more performance for a long time. Otherwise he was more knwon for is temperament. He seems to have really concentrated and put his focus only on playing. But at one wpont we will see the other Kyrgios back on the court.

Kyrgios and most of the players have moved on to the tournament in Montreal.
Nick plays Baez today, a match which he should win, hopefully he can carry his
performance forward from the Citi Open.

Also Murray has to tough match today against Fritz, Fritz has has a good year but
I see a chance of Murray winning this one.

Both the matches were won on the direct sets. If the match could've been driven towards more sets he could've got tired. Kyrgios have played really well. With these wins he have moved into the top 40. With this win Kyrgios have marked his first ATP win since 2019.

An easy win for kyrgios in the final of the washington tournament althought i did expect him to win i didn't think nishioka would make it to the final, he beaten rublev easily 2 0 which led me to believe that the final would be really competitive but that was not the case, either way kyrgios deserve the win for sure.

It is striking that Kyrgios managed to win no less than 2 titles in 1 day. In singles and doubles. You don't hear that often. I also don't believe that it benefits your level to play 2 matches in one day, although it must be said that in a doubles match you run much less and that match also costs you much less energy in the end. But it is still a unique achievement. Often good single players are not great in doubles and vice versa, much more so. Its really difficult to know! I would say his performance and appearance in the final
at Wimbledon gave him some extra belief that he can actually win a tournament.

I saw the match against Tiafoe and he did have a mini melt down when the umpire had
to call a halt in his service because one of the ball kids had returned to the wrong position.
Nick serves very quickly so he got really shouty about that. Otherwise he was focussed.

Well done to him, its been 3 years since his last title so there is still a lot to talk about, will
he continue his performance? given he doesnt play a full season, when is his next tournament
and will be be focussed enough then?

I see also that he won the doubles with Jack Sock too!

Was out of the circulation for the last 24 hours or so, and we know that I supported Nick Kyrgios in this tournament, but damn, he really make me a believer of him right now.

He beat Ymer easy, while Rublev was crushed by Nishioka. Setting up a finals between him and Nishioka. And then winning in 2 straight sets, but I guess the best match is him against Tiafoe? what are your thoughts of his performance? is this for real moving forward?

Nick Kyrgios seems to be a changed man now. Hasn't really had a mental breakdown or loss of motivation and is a top 10 performer this year. Glad to see that he's getting things straight and is remaining focused. He is extremely talented and always puts on a show. Something similar to Monfils(whos the more athletic version of Kyrgios). If they can keep the winning mentality, the could beat literally anyone on their day.

Nick got the job done in 2 sets! he is playing really well. To answer my own questions
about him from earlier, yes he is still the same shouty and argumentative Kyrgios but
on the other hand he seems way more focussed. I watched the full highlights
of his match with Tiafoe. His service game is working fantastically.

In the other semi, Rublev lost to Nishioka. I dont think Nishioka is going to beat Kyrgios.

Citi Open between Kyrgios and Ymer, good that I was able to catch it right now, (just woke up).

Score is tie 6-6 and they are going into a tie break, both players are playing very well and this could be very well ended up in another dramatic 3 sets win.

So let's see how things goes, I'm still on the Kyrgios band wagon, Over 22.5.

The match gonna start in few hours. I don't think this going to be an easy win for Medvedev. Norrie have reached the final winning against one of the young player Felix Augur. Right, we have debated that here in this thread, there are a lot of what if on Nick. He has the talent indeed, but he wasted so many opportunities and could have won at least 1 Grand Slam already if not for his attitude inside and outside of the court.

Nevertheless that is his personality, maybe it is true that he doesn't care about this career. Or maybe it is now that he realized as he mature that he has to at least accept the fact that winning is achievable and that he can be a great player.

Okay, he recently made it to a Wimbledon final, but someone with his talent should have won a Grand Slam tournament at least once. But that's in his personality. And as others have predicted, Kyrgios won in 3 sets against Tiafoe, didn't see the match but it will be interesting how Tiafoe feel in the 3rd set, or it is really Nick playing very well?

Yeah, possible that it could be Rublev vs Kyrgios in the mens finals.
