Murray is not having enough matches for odd on him to be good

Playing a lot of matches in quick succession does seem to be his biggest problem. This might be mitigated a bit because these aren't best-of-5 slam matches, but still, with each round it will get tougher for him, regardless of opponent.

a good start for Andy Murray in Indian wells today, he beat the youngster Alcarez after losing the first set, this shows that he still has the spirits to win, I'll be on the lookup for in the next matche, he won't let go that easy as for now he will face Alexander Zverev which will be really interesting to bet on and watch, I think Murray can win a set and the odds would favor Zverev to win 2-0 I think so it's worth it.

I kept up with the Murray Alcarez score for the first set, I saw Murray race into an early lead, but then collapse a bit as he lost the set. I thought then it would be a straight sets win for Alcarez, so was surprised to see the final result. It's very difficult to know what to expect with Murray these days, and very difficult to bet on his matches. We all know he has the talent to beat almost every other player, it's just that the physical side is something we can't really predict.

will be interesting battle between Zverev and Murray, and odds are based on current form and results, where Murray is not having enough matches for odd on him to be good
that is why make sense to see value in @4.75 on Murray, but I do not think that he will win in the end

probably would skip betting, or put over games, since I expect fight, but Murray win is far from expected, maybe 2:1 or 2:0 with one tie-break is the best what he can do

Murray will face Zverev, Zverev has never won against Murray, seems this time will be different but still Zverev will need a lot of struggle to win against Murray.

That's the funny thing, and yet everyone including bookies think he will do it. Which of course for me makes it very worthwhile to follow history and keep my bets there.

Only a small amount, but 4.75 for Murray to win is really worth it. I will look live and if I can bet, if Murray wins first set I will bet on Zverev to get a nice insurance:)

Fernandez is continuing on at IW by beating Pavlyuchenkova in 3 sets, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4
Happy days, I had her for the win, hopefully she can keep making Satoshi's for me.
It seems that betting on Fernandez can give nice profit, her performance is still consistent, it is proven when she lost the first set against Pavlyuchenkova in the next set she played even better, next round she will face S. Rogers and does not mean to underestimated Rogers, my predictions Fernandez will still continue to the next round.

Murray will face Zverev, Zverev has never won against Murray, seems this time will be different but still Zverev will need a lot of struggle to win against Murray.

Yup, to be honest, I thought that the young Alcaraz will take this one based on the strength of his showing from another tournament, he just got injured and was not able to complete that one. Maybe he wasn't able to recover from that injury. Nevertheless, not taking anything from Andy Murray, when we thought that he is done and we totally write him off. And then we see him winning again. But tough draw, Zverev will be too good in my opinion and I doubt that Murray can win a set.

Yes I watched that Match, it was a great one, Murray really kept with Alcaraz who eventhough
was playing a lot of powerful shots he couldnt get past Murray and had to resort to a lot of
drop shots which didnt always pay off.

@kro55 Raducanu didnt CHANGE coaches, she let one go after the U.S and came into IW without
a coach in place other than in a temporary role.

And Sasnovich was in top form yesterday too to beat Halep in 2 sets.

Before the last GS, Raducanu was a relatively unknown girl and could play without any pressure and the burden of high expectations.
Now she has to learn to play under a lot of public pressure and it’s not easy.
If she succeeds, she will become a great tennis champion.
As for Murray, unfortunately the peak of his career is long gone and it’s a reality he doesn’t seem to be able to accept.
Last tennis news from Indian Wells:
''Daniil Medvedev, top seed in the men's draw, eased through with a 6-4 6-2 victory over American Mackenzie McDonald, while women's top seed Karolina Pliskova beat Pole Magdalena Frech 7-5 6-2.''

That is true. She playing even 2 months ago compared to now is very different. Now that she has won the US Open people expect a lot from her and she has to play under pressure in every match. I hope she doesn't get demoralized from that loss and train hard and she can be one of the best one days.  And about Andy Murray, he has aged a lot (34 years old) and I doubt that he can get back his golden days once again, those days seem to be a story of the past.

@kro55 Sasnovic has been around for a while and has some tournament wins she just
wouldnt be a well known player.
While Raducanu has gained a lot of attention this year I am a bit obsessed with Fernandez,
in so far as how she got to the U.S Open final, her family background and her seemingly
positive outlook. She is currently also playing doubles with Gauff and they won their match
yesterday against 5th seeds Schuurs/Melichar. Its really great to see players in both Singles
and Doubles.

I have to say that Sasnovic deserved the win and she played better than Raducanu by a big margin and won 6-2, 6-4. Seems like Raducanu changing the coach has cost her the first match. Although Raducanu is higher ranked than Sasnovic who is currently ranked 100 in Women's singles and I'm curious to see how far Sasnovic can get. Defeating the US Open winner will surely give her the morale boost needed to go a long way. And Fernandez is also a very promising prospect as she had reached the US Open Finals only to get defeated by Raducanu but she got her first doubles to win in the Indian Wells Tournament and hope she can go a long way.

Don't be too harsh on Raducanu, she is a very young girl who has achieved great success but still does not have enough experience and stability to continuously win.
I think she needs a little more peace and space now, both from the media and the fans, to focus on tennis and start winning again.
She is a very young girl and if she manages to keep her focus only on tennis, I believe she will become the new big tennis star.

Meanwhile, finally good news for the old champion who doesn’t want to retire yet.
''Andy Murray eased through his first-round match at the Indian Wells Masters with a 6-3 6-2 win over Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.''
''"I thought my mentality was good. I fought for every single point. That was the goal coming into the match and it got me the win," Murray said.''

His next opponent will be Spanish young tennis hope Carlos Alcaraz. In any case, we have a very interesting match ahead of us  Cheesy

No dont mean to be too harsh on Raducanu, She gained a lot of fans this year, me being
one of them.

Murray is definitely progressing and its good to see him winning matches again, Alcaraz
will be a really tough opponent and should make for a great match.

I have a parlay, Dimitrov + Karatsev + Medvedev all in handicap.

Dimitrov wa able to cover the spread already, and Karatsev has a high chance as well. But Medvedev gave up to many points in the first set, he was comfortable leading 3-1, however the set finished at 6-4. He needs to win 6-2 in the second set to cover it for me. But I doubt, it's already 1-1 and McDonald serving.

Edit: All is good, Medvedev won 6-2 in the second set,  Grin

You spoke to soon mate, don't underestimate Medvedev, he is the number seed, maybe he was just feeling the first set and then close it out on the second as he storm to 4-1 (if you didn't watch because you think that your bet has been derailed already).

Already in the round of 64, and the match is getting hard to predict now. But I have Berrettini vs Tabilo to bet. I think Berrettini can cover the handicap, (-5-5). Alcaraz vs Murray might be tricky though, ML is very close.

^^ And we have questioned Raducanu's decision to part ways with her coach. And now we got the answer, and I don't want to say this but she could be in the path similar to Osaka, wherein after winning a grand slam, she chooses to switch coach and she hasn't been the same.
As for Fernandez, I would say it's more on how the girl was brought up, close knit family and that's what keeping here grounded, unlike Raducanu who might have some 'air of arrogance'.
What a poor performance from Raducanu, you can't really picture how a grand slam winner suddenly lost in a first match against a relatively unknown. And for sure, a lot of bettors have lost, either singles or parlay with Raducanu winner because we might think that it is a sure win.

I'm looking next for Fernandez and Sakkari, they've performed very well last tournament they're in so let's se how they've journey in Indian Wells, might be good to bet on them on ML or handicap.

That was an unfortunate performance from the young US Open winner. She lost against Sasnovic 2-6 and 4-6. Well, even good players sometimes lose against comparatively smaller players and I hope she can recover from this. People will now question the coaching change and that is normal. And I really hope that things don't happen to her like what had happened with Osaka. Maybe some more matches and then we can come to a conclusion about the coaching change.

^ I agree with you. Raducanu is still very young and inexperienced and we shouldn't overwhelm with all the high expectations from her. She got the wild card entry that's good, but she should be given the space on her own, the media has to play an important role over here. Also, she got a new experienced coach and I hope she will achieve more with this new coach. She has just won the US Open and if nurtured correctly, she has a very bright future up ahead.

Its like i said earlier. Raducanu is really unexperienced and got really lucky at the US Open to win it from thhe qualification. She won a big tournament but big players win in a row not after a big win that they lose instantly and really heavy like this in straight sets.

It is not because Raducanu has lost her first match under her new coach that it was a bad decision. We need to wait and evaluate after a couple of months. The Australian Open is coming in a couple of months and that will tell us more  Wink.
Osaka is a totally different story as she is having mental issues and can't handle the stress/pressure at this moment.
