I havent been too successful so far this tournament, I have been expecting more
3 set matches but they havent transpired - because of the big gap in talent
between 3 players over the others.

Todays matches
Fritz v de Minaur - I would like to think this would be a 3 set match

Sinner v Medvedev - more than likely a 2 set match.

Fritz vs De Minaur were fun to watch as we have good game from both players, but Fritz were at the top of his game as he strongly fights back after losing first set and give himself spot into top four where we will have more exciting games in next few days.

Sinner vs Medvedev this was one-sided affair as we have no resistance from Medvedev 75 minutes and three service breaks were enough for World no #1 to stay at the top of the group.

Now today we have two games first we will have Zverev vs Alcaraz here we have Spaniard slightly favourite after win against Rublev for his try to have spot into top four things are looking not easy, but it's also going to be exciting match in case of win for Alcaraz we will have these players into last four but in case of lost for Alcaraz we will have chance for the Ruud who is going to face Rublev in last game of the group stage.

Current situation is clearly indicating we will be having Sinner as champion because no challenger is able to give him challenge with Alcaraz coach already announces he is not 100% which is huge advantage for the local world no 1 Sinner for have won in this event.

Most chances Medvedev will be out of the race for last 4 as he lost early game against Fritz his last game is against Sinner and Fritz going to play against De Minaur which is currently at the bottom of the group Zverev is also strong for the last four with second is not easy due to Alcaraz fitness, it's wide open who is going to progress it's tough job for all three.

Breaking news. According Italian television RAI Alcaraz could give forfait very soon. He has left the training field today after just 10 minutes with cough and covered with a towel.
It seems Dimitrov should join the ATP FInals...

Day two of the Nitto ATP Finals

Upset no.1 - Alcaraz beaten by Ruud - Alcaraz was suffering from an upset stomach!
I never even looked at the odds for Ruud because under normal conditions I believed
he didnt have a chance

In the second match the result went as expected in 2 sets to Zverev - who could be the
dark horse for this title, he has won it 3 times previously.

Todays line up:::::::::

Medvedev v de Minaur - hard to call which way this could go but I recon its destined
for a three setter.

Sinner v Fritz - Sinner is rightly favourite @ 1.14 - this could also be a three setter.

Gauff's win in the WTA final for me was unexpected but yea I have been wrong on
many occasions unfortunately. That was a 3 set battle well done to Coco, she is
actually doing better with her new coach.

Tomorrow:

Alcaraz v Ruud
Zverev v Rublev

Alcaraz and Zverev for the wins, just have to make a decision on how many games.

We have some good events in progress Sabalenka lost semifinal against Coco Gauff as in first set we have good resistance from World No 1 but in second set we have dominance of Gauff which won with the score of 7–6 and then 6–3. Now we have final of the event after few hours for the prize money of $4,000,000 as in early odds we have Gauff hot favourite for the win, but we can expect good resistance from the Zheng which is also doing good job in last few months for having good success.

ATP - SINGLES Metz France we have 57th seeded English man Norrie into final for facing local boy 124th seeded Bonzi things are interesting for title final as Norrie is looking better, but anything can happen.

ATP - SINGLES Belgrade 2 Serbia We have Canadian Shapovalov into final of this event as he is trying to end his two years drought of winless in big events he is favourite for the title, but local boy is also not bad and can give surprise.

First casualty gas been realised with Swiatek going home and Zheng, Gauff and
Sabalenka joining Krejcikova. Have to say though that Sabalenka is favourite for the

Zheng into finals of this WTA Finals as she smashed Krejcikova in first set by 6–3 and now having good start of the second set as well with early break we will have good match between Sabalenka vs Gauff which is going to start after this in few minutes now.

and Zheng gets the job done and she goes into the final against either Sabalenka or Gauff,
it will most likely be Sabalenka although she as already been beaten by Rybakina earlier in
the week whereas Gauff is unbeaten so maybe possibly an upset could be possible.

Whoever progresses they will have a tough job against Zheng and if Gauff progresses I think
her chances will increase! but against Sabalenka he chance will diminish IMO.

EDIT

And there we are, theres the upset, Gauff beats Sabalenka! I think Zheng
has a better chance now, although Gauff is favourite.

Lineup is already completed for the semifinals of the event as now after few hours we have first match between Zheng vs Krejcikova in this match Zheng is hot favorite due to his recent form while odds are @1.44 even we can expect good resistance from the Krejcikova, but things are clearly favoring Zheng to go into final of this big prize money event.

After this we have second semifinal between Sabalenka vs Gauff here Sabalenka is favorite for the win, but things are not easy for her because Gauff is also doing good and have fair chance of win and go through for the final but mostly are expected we will have final between Zheng vs Sabalenka with Sabalenka is going to win this big prize event just few hours left in all coming out.

WTA - SINGLES Finals - Riyadh (World)

In Group A, we have Sabalenka already moved into top four with next game is interesting as Paolini will face Zheng for the second spot.

In Group B, we have interesting situation as Gauff currently at the top but after few minutes we have big game while Gauff will face Swiatek as winner will be surely had spot into top four in another game which ended few minutes back we have upset win for the Czech Republic's Krejcikova against 6th seeded Pegula which is now out of event after 2 loses and Krejcikova have last game against Gauff which will decider who is going to be into last four of this event.

Yes possibly not. I didnt realise there are some more tournaments to be played
next week so yea he may not be playing and there are very few points separating him
from Ruud and de Minaur who is up to 8th today.

My wife told me today that the WTA finals have started and yea Swiatek and
Sabalenka are favourites.

Sabalenka is currently playing Zheng.....there could easily be an upset along the
way to knock out either or both of the favourites!

There are 8 really great players in the draw and I'm really happy to see Paolini there

Somehow I think Djokovic is unlikely to play in the ATP Finals even though he is qualified because it is reported that he is currently on vacation and also previously he said that besides the Olympics his target is the Davis Cup, because of course losing in the semifinals last year to Italy was quite painful for him because he had several match points when playing against Sinner, a break for the new season could be his focus especially since he has not appointed a permanent coach yet.

WTA Finals start today, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek are the two favorites in this tournament.
