It will be Nadal vs Djokovic in the Finals, this is all we have been waiting for in the French Open this year. My boy Tsitsipas is nothing to be ashamed of his performance, he really push Djokovic to his limit, unfortunately it's not enough.

Can Djokovic stop Nadal? I think Nadal is more motivated to prove that he is still the king of clay against Djokovic.

As I mentioned in my post before the match, I said that we could see Tsitsipas push Djokovic and take a set or two off him which he did so I hope some got on this bet. I was really hoping that Tsitsipas would win but again when he has all the momentum going for him and looks like he could win the match he lets himself down with a poor 5th set. Anyway I think he will take a lot of experience out of this years French Open as he has shown us that he has improved a lot on clay and could be a danger for next years clay season.
Actually the match is already in the bag for Djokovic in the third, he was serving for the match up 5-4, but Tsitsipas comeback strong in the next 2 games, but I think it drain him that's why in the five set, he was dry and flat out.

I think Nadal wins this and makes it 20 grand slam titles to equal Federer in the year 2020.

And beating Djokovic the number 1 seed, will make this victory sweeter for his 20 grand slams in 2020.

@1.62 ML on Nadal right now, what do you think guys? Worth to put a good bet on it?

Yep, I will and feel Nadal is in better form and we all know he is still the king of clay.
The odds are fairly good, I've seen a lot of tennis from both of them in the last few weeks and feel confident going with Nadal. He was impressive in all the games I watched and Đoković struggled in most of his.

I will also try to bet during the match, I expect some good odds on Nadal to win the set if Đoković manages to get a break early on in the set.

could be sensational, but Djokovic has called-off this training practice yesterday, personally do not think that he will cancel the match in any case, but there was no press-conference and training yesterday

That is enough news for me to place small bet on Tsitsi on one of the bookies that grade forfeit as a regular bet. Always worth a shot. Wbet7 for instance considered match as regular if 1 game has been played. Have to check if that is still true. Some other bookies like Nitrogen grade it as regular if one set has been played. And some void the bet even if somebody forfeits two points from the end of the match.

I wasn't really able to find more sources to confirm this, but I also placed a (handicap) bet on Tsitsipas.

On the women side, I expect Kenin to win but Swiatek was impressive this French Open. What is a bit surprising to me, is that the bookies see Swiatek as the favorite (@1.55) ?!

Yeah because Swiatek beat all her opponents in two set matches even against the number 1 Halep.
So she is the favorite even though she hasn't won a title yet and kenin is the more experienced of the two in these tournaments.
But she is holding her own against the australian open champion of last year.

We got the dreamfinal we were waiting for but I expect that Nadal will win. Maybe Djokovic can win 1 set but nothing more than that.

Djokovic @2.25 but I think Nadal is really unstoppable in French Open and I'm thinking of going a substantial amount on him? Anyways, it is a dream match, but with Djokovic somewhat being reported with injury it could really affect his performance against Nadal in the finals.

Goodluck to all the bettors.
Djokovic is going with Injury and playing against Nadal on clay then these odds are really good because he will not allow him for any positive movement as Djokovic was struggling against Tsitsipass and won in fifth set and on other side Nadal doing this all without any set so for me he is winner.

Nadal seems to be a much better bet but I personally would never write off Djokovic.
Yes, it looks like Djokovic is injured and is not fully focused on tennis at the moment but don’t forget that Nadal has only lost twice in this tournament.
Djokovic is just one of two tennis players in history who managed to beat Nadal and he knows the formula for winning and when it is most difficult for him, his spite often wakes up and he plays even better than anyone expects.

I'm a little bit disappointed about Djokovic, I thought he was in a really good shape this year and he could win the tournament.
But now his fitness seems to be too bad to overcome Nadal. It's a pity. Undecided

why do you think that, he played five sets yesterday, and proved to be more fit than Tsitsipas in fifth set, which is kind a unbelievable for me, just due to age of both players
i could not believe that two most fit players on the tour, when we are calling fifth set are Djokovic and Nadal, and that seem to be a fact at the moment, looking at their performance, where these young ones are training and what they do for their fitness is kind a mystery for me, but that does not work for them

Swiatek is really on fire. She comfortably defeated number 2, Simona Halep, Kenin on the other hand had just 1 straight set win out of last 4 matches.

The match between Djokovic and Tsitsipas is about to start and there are no any official news about calling off by Djokovic. This could be a competitive match if Djokovic comes all fine in the court but Djokovic seems to be struggling with his fitness and it would be difficult for him.

interesting beginning on Nadal - Schwartzmann match, with first five gems finished with at least break point and three breaks, two from Nadal, and one from Schwartzmann
it is now 2:5 in first set, so Nadal needs one more gem to take the first set, although he does not seem that good, as result is

It was a great match between two guys in superb form. It all culminated in the end of 3rd set when Schwarzman was playing excellent tennis and Nadal still managed to close it over in 3 sets. Arguably Schwarzi deserved to get that one set maybe but Nadal just hit some incredible forehands on most important points. I had over 28.5 games on this match and thought the bet already lost but it came good in the end.

Tougher part of my double follows. Tsitsipas to win against Djoko @3.8. I am hoping Djoko is not at 100% and Tsitisi already managed to win 3 times against him so even if he is 100% there is still a chance. I played my double on the bookie where my bet is winning one even if Djoko forfeits the match after finishing at least one set. IMHO that gives it just a bit more of added value.

Its great to see Stefanos Tsitsipas reach the semi-final but now this will be his toughest test in his short career coming up against Djokovic in a grand slam. I personally would like to see him cause a big upset and make the final but I just think Djokovic will be too strong for him but we just never know as Tsitsipas does seem to playing a lot better on clay then before.

I'm sure Kemarit is very happy with his win against Rublev.

Hahahaha, you beat me to it my friend, put a good bet on Tsitsipas reaching the semis and finals and then boom. Probably he is really a clay player though his form suits better on this surface. But yeah, it will be a big uphill climb for him to beat Djokovic, although Busta was able to snatch the first set against Djokovic, but that's it. Djokovic wake up and took control and winning the last 3 sets. I would love for Tsitsipas to reach the finals so fingers-crossed.

Also the Nadal vs Schwartzman might be a thriller as well as Schwartzman upset Thiem and he knows that beating Nadal will be huge.

Well I know how much of a big fan you are of Tsitsipas and thanks to you I have also come to like him a lot even though sometimes he does frustrate me lol but I do think that his day will come when we see him win a Grand Slam. Yes he has really improved a lot of clay which he needed to as he becomes a well rounded player on all surfaces that's what the great players have done in the past. Lets see how he goes against Djokovic, if he is on his game I can see him push Djokovic to five sets or even 4 sets which might be a good bet but don't know about him winning it.

Yeah, probably putting Tsitsipas winning 2 sets will be good. He also on his game, and we have to take into consideration Djokovic's injury. So upsets is not that far.

I think Nadal wins but we could see Schwartzman really push Nadal and maybe even pitch a set off Nadal, its going to be a great match. Actually I think both semi-finals matches are going to be good to watch.

Schwartzman is really starting to crack big names already, so it means he has improved a lot regardless of the surface he play. So it will be a great battle between the two, Schwartzman tends to lend on his stamina and survive those 5 setters. But we all know how experience Nadal them, he has age, but still he is on top and still has the A-game. So it will be a tough battle but I'm seeing Nadal coming on top.

I am giving chances to both Tsitipas and Schwarzman. Schwarzman already beat Nadal 2 weeks ago so he can do it for sure but it will be much tougher in best of 5 match. That gives Nadal extra security and time to turn things back on his side.

Djokovic had some problems in his last match. I did not watch but read that he battled trough the pain. Probably doesen't mean much but gives another reason to Tsitsipas to stick in the match even if he gets two sets down.

I will probably bet on both underdogs to take at least one set or over games.

Djokovic is injured already in the Busta match and that is why he losses the first set, and according to Mats Wilander, French Open 2020 - Novak Djokovic injury a 'big worry' ahead of semi-final - Mats Wilander.

Quote
urosport analyst and seven-time Grand Slam winner Mats Wilander has told Eurosport that Novak Djokovic’s shoulder injury is a “big concern” ahead of his French Open 2020 semi-final against Stefanos Tsitsipas. His quarter-final opponent, Pablo Carreno Busta, had hit out at Djokovic for what he saw as a tactical use of the trainer.

So its good to put a bet on the underdogs at they are also showing high level tennis.
