I am looking forward to three matches today:
Tsitsipas vs Dellien - Tsitsipas
Maden vs Nadal - Nadal
Otte vs Federer - Federer

Odds are shit for all these favorites especially Federer and Nadal

I think both Federer and Nadal will win 3 - 0 set for Tsitsipas may be it will be a 3 - 1

My boy Tsitsipas will also win by 3-0 set.  Grin
I was right with my prediction :-P
Tsitsipas won by 3 -1
Nadal 3 - 0
Now we wait for Federer. I am sure he will get a 3 - 0 too :-)

I agree with the Zverev case, he has been pushed by John Millman and almost lost. I think we have been discussing about his case recently (losing matches unexpectedly). I don't know if he has a injury or something, but it looks like it's more of a mental attitude, to say the least. He keeps on losing focus, he should have steam rolled and win this game easily. But when John pick up the pace in the 3rd and 4th set, Zverev doesn't have any answer. John just fall short in the 5th, eventually giving the game to Zverev, but it doesn't look at all. So I wouldn't be surprise if in the next few rounds, he will eventually exit facing much tougher opponents.

Zverev has been bothered by something even with his earlier match against dellien he was suffering then managed to bounce back. And this was from a much lower ranked player and almost losing to him would of concluded he has lost his game performance.
No upsets today but noticed tsitsipas is playing tomorrow so his match probably got pushed forward due to another match being played on the court they were scheduled to be on.
Something is wrong with Zverev for sure. For the past couple of months, his level has dropped unexpectedly. He lost to Berrettini and a few other players unexpectedly but he bounced back right on time in Geneva. Although most of his matches went the distance. I think efficiency will be key to win the French Open. Finish your matches early, stay fresh for the later rounds. Zverev started on the wrong foot here but lets see how his tournament goes.

Zverev got a huge scare as Millman almost pulled off an amazing victory but Zverev was too good in the final set. Zverev won the first two sets and looked winning it in three until Millman bounced back to win the next two sets but died out in the fifth set to give Zverev the win. This is what we have been seeing from Zverev in recent tournaments, he just doesn't look to be at his best so I wonder if he is carrying an injury of some kind or his lost his mentality to win even though he did win today. I'm looking forward to seeing Stefanos Tsitsipas later today, he should have a comfortable win but anything can happen.

French open at roland garros has begun and the first day of the tournament. They havent had any upsets after the first round
Just watching the ladies wrap up their matches and I believe there is only one more to go for the mens with Goffin playing against Berankis. So this should be an easy match for the Belgian. Grin
Federer won
Nadal won
Djokovic  won
My man Thiem won his first set, hope he win the match too.

These are the some players I am following. Hast placed any bet yet though.

I do not have much interest in Women tennis however I may see some matches.
Your pick of who would be victorious in thiem won with a four set match.
Some upsets today were Basilashvili and Medvedev losing their matches.
While some were cancelled like Auger Aliassime and Querrey games. I would think due to rain because Edmunds match earlier was suspended while in the fifth set with a score of 5 - 5. And yet to finish.
Usual thing when they are playing in paris. I think they are use to having their matches delayed due to the overcast in weather.

I was about to ask where's @Royse777 at, we've been missing you here mate.  Grin. I'm glad you're back again with your inputs.
I was busy with IPL gambling and was also waiting for GS to start. Now that GS is not far from us, you guys will see me a lot here :-)
Other day I lost some money on Djokovic against Nadal. :-P

Don't you worry mate, I also lost on that match. I thought Djokovic could overcome Nadal that time, however, it looks like he was really tired going into the match.

Congrats mate,  Grin

@vella85 - Tsitsipas is improving a lot every year, although no one can really teach a tennis player how to be mentally tough or at least stable (in the case of Krygios,  Grin). But he is really developing very quick within our yes. Another player to watch in the horizon is Felix Auger Aliassime, 18 year old kid but with a lot of potential.

Thanks for the tip mate on this up and coming kid, I'll be sure to keep an eye on him this year.

The big day is almost here as the French Open kicks off in just under 12 hours from now, this is one Grand Slam I have been waiting for as we get to see Federer return to Paris in 3 years I believe. Also Nadal and Djokovic have come into good form recently and the young talent are looking to upset the veterans so its going to be a great tournament. My bets that I placed are on Thiem and Tsitsipas as I went for some value and I believe these two young players have what it takes to upstage the big guns.

@Royse777 the match between Nadal and Djokovic was a tough one, I got cold feet and decided not to gamble. I was hoping to place a bet on Nadal winning it just a gut feeling, but then I felt he would loose the match because of his recent injuries but he proved me wrong and won. According to me Roger will go up to the semi finals as he has a good record in this tournament, but he won’t be winning the cup.
Problem with me that when I feel to gamble then even if I am not sure about an outcome I risk it based on my gut feeling. It does not work most of the time. I noticed I am successful when I place a bet purely based on analysis not gut feeling.

You could end up winning if you would trust your gut, in your case. Unlucky you :-P

Seems like it was the bookies day LOL
Most of the prediction was in favor of Djokovic because of his recent form. Anyway, Nadal was outstanding in the first and third set. Djokovic couldn't do much about it.

Bienvenue à Paris! 🇫🇷

Next two weeks in Paris, starting from Sunday, are going to be all about the 129th edition of maybe the toughest tennis Grand Slam.

Could anyone upset Spanish Fresh Prince of Paris?

Will women’s edition be, as usual, completely unpredictable?

Set your thoughts in this thread and bets here:

Looks like there are a lot of qualifying matches ongoing for the French Open. Not much of a interest though.

@vella85  - based on the performance of Thiem on Italian open, what do you think of his chances here? You got me thinking here, perhaps Thiem could be a live underdog here. Although Nadal really looks dominant against Djokovic. I'm seeing that Thiem, might pull some upsets. Haven't check the odds though, but if it looks enticing then I might throw some money on him.  Grin

I already put a bet on Thiem a few weeks ago when he was paying $11 to win the French Open, he then shorted into $6 after winning the Barcelona Open and that's where the current odds have stayed. What do you think about Tsitsipas of winning as he is at $19 to win which is very good odds for a player that has shown that he can match it with the top players. The only thing that worries me with him is that when he gets to the finals, he doesn't have the mentality to win but maybe that will change in the French Open. I'm actually thinking of having $20 on him at these odds.

Oh that's my boy, Tsitsipas  Grin, I will definitely put some money on that kid. He needed a break out tournament and this could be it. (I'm a little bias obviously).

I will definitely look at Thiem, yes, $20 is not that bad assuming that the odds are that good as well. Hope though that this young prospect would wilted out of the pressure of big events such as French Open and show that they can handle it like a veteran.

Yes he is your boy as you have been following him for a while now and thanks to you, I was made aware of him as I never heard of him before so I always been tracking his progress in the past year. I actually put a bet on him as the odds are to hard to resist, so I put $50 on him at odds of $20 to get back $1k. If Tsitsipas can handle the pressure in big matches like the semi or quarter finals, then he can go onto winning the French Open. Lets see how the young talent goes this year.

That's good mate, he was really on my radar since last year, specially when he had this giant runs beating alot of top ten players. I know that some day this kid will have a break out run in the Grand Slams so I hope he just it this time in the French Open, at very big stage to really set your arrival in the tennis circle.

I was about to ask where's @Royse777 at, we've been missing you here mate.  Grin. I'm glad you're back again with your inputs.

Yes I remember our chats back then and you also told me to keep an eye on Tsitsipas as he has potential to be a top player. To be honest with you, it wasn't until the Australian Open when I started to take notice as he was playing some great tennis and as we know even beat Federer. If he can just get his mentality right in finals then we can see Tsitsipas winning many Grand Slams in the near future as he looks to have all the goods out of the young talent. I'm actually hoping one of the young guys wins the French Open as they have all been around the mark in the lead up tournaments except for Zverev who has been in poor form recently so not sure if he can go far.

Yes thanks. If it were 0.05 btc then it would of a been a way better day for me! Agree with you there. Wink
I made the first selection in the parlay very early in the morning then saw the zverev game in geneva and thought it would make a good combined betslip for the odds as well.
Managed to place a bet on Felix Auger Aliassime with the basilashvili one right before the match started as you can see from time when the betslip was placed.
Both those won as well but was worried because zverev had a difficult time with his lower ranked opponent in Dellian from Boliva.

The tournament in Lyon looks to be a good day to bet for these two competitors as they were in the quarterfinals.
Paire looked good going into the second set only because shapaolov was struggling and his backhand winners were going long. But benoit had the home fan crowd rooting for him and it helped him going into the tiebreak to win the match.
The other match was kind of strange since Basilashvili was not the favorite to win according to the oddmakers and even rose to 2.18 just before the match started an hour ago. But he is seeded number 1 in this atp 250 tournament. Undecided
I didnt like tsonga going into this match even though he is a french men with home court advantage and the crowd rooting for him.
I just knew one of them out of the two were going to lose and went with wilfred. Grin

The combined odd was really good and congrats to you win. Imagine if 0.05 was Bitcoin instead of ETH :-P
